    Great fitness tracker

The FitBit Charge is an excellent product. The associated app is amazing and beautifully designed. This product is great for getting people motivated to increase their physical activity level and take that extra step towards living a fit lifestyle. Definitely recommend this product. Four stars only because after about a month of use the clock time became out of sync and the display had spotty performance for about a week. I have the Geek Squad protection plan so the malfunction was covered. Recommend spending the extra $15-20 for the peace of mind.

Bought it for my wife. It works great but the band is kind of very easy to pop open (unintentionally). The battery charge stays for about 5 days and i feel sometimes the calorie counter shows wrong data. Good gift for loved ones though!

great watch and keeps track of steps

I love the watch and being able to keep track of the steps and sleep tracker. But what I love the best is that is vibrates to tell me I have an incoming call as it works with by blue tooth with most smart phones. I recommend to all my friends and family.

    Better Force

This is the force plus some. I have had the ultra, flex, force and now the charge. The ultra was too easily washed or lost, the flex was returned when I got it 40 days before the force came out! I hadn't issues with my force until about two weeks ago when it fell apart. Used my best buy protection plan to preorder the charge! Thinner band with texture, brighter screen, caller ID function is nearly instant, etc As far as the clasp, I have had mine 5 days and it is tough to clasp but don't you want it not to be an instant snap. If it is aligned... It snaps right away with pressure. I think that's a plus! So far I have no complaints except that the charge hr didn't come out already!

    Cool but inaccurate for steps

I have been a Fitbit zip user for about a year and was very excited to get the Charge when it came out to replace the Force. Unfortunately, I am disappointed. I don't feel that it accurately tracks your steps. You have to be swinging you arm when you walk to get credit for your steps. For example, if you are pushing a cart in a grocery store, the Charge is not giving you any steps because it can't register them. If you are carrying something in your hand when you walk up a flight of stairs, it doesn't count the flight because you weren't moving your hand enough. That could be fine if it gave you movement credit for other things- filing for example when your arms are moving back and forth- but it doesn't. In order to register steps, you have to be deliberately swinging your arms when you walk. Holding an umbrella? No steps counted. If you aren't worried about accurate step counts, this is a great device. I love the caller ID feature, tapping the screen to check the time, and the sleep monitoring is pretty awesome. For me, I have a daily goal of steps to reach and I don't feel like this helps keep accurate track. I am going back to the Zip for now!

Love It - Small runs small

I love my Fitbit Charge. The small does run really small - I purchased it online and had to exchange it in-store for a large. It syncs with my Iphone and also with my account on fitbit.com. I got the scale as well and the whole package works awesome> Get a large if you might in between sizes.

Absolutely love my fit bit. Previously had an up band, had nothing but trouble with it, replaced them several times under warranty, issues from not charging to just stopping working altogether, very frustrating to me as I am very active with my physical health. I have had my fit bit for 3 months with no trouble at all!!!

Fitbit Charge(s) Owned for Three Days

    Posted .

Normally I would not review a product after such a short time. But at this point feel it is warranted. My husband and I began with Fitbit Zips. We love the product concept and have been successful in moving toward our goals. We decided to switch to the Charge(s) since the Zips were going through 2032 batteries about every 38 days. Those batteries are expensive! The description for the Charge indicates it's rechargeable battery will last 5-7 days. We fully charged our 2 new Fitbit Charge wristbands on 9/12/15. My husband had to recharge his (purchased at Bed Bath Beyond) on 9/13/15!! And I had to recharge mine (purchased at Best Buy) today, 9/14/15! This is extremely disappointing!! I can only hope that going through all the setup features drained the rechargeable Fitbit Charge(s) and subsequent battery life will reflect what is promised! At this point I would be afraid to recommend to anyone.

    Best Fitbit Yet

I have had all the Fitbit Trackers - really liked the Force and had to return for recall. Have been using Garmin Vivosmart while waiting for the newest Fitbit trackers. Vivosmart is also very good and I wasn't sure which I would keep. But I love the Charge. I like the clear bright screen and it's amazingly accurate for tracking sleep automatically. It even tracked my nap today. Highly recommend. I have a very small wrist and I got the small so it fits perfect.

    Simply doesn't work

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The hoopla around this device reminds me of the iphone. The difference is, the iPhone actually works. This device is incredibly inaccurate. I wouldn't trust any information it provides. Our company bought one for our 200 employees, and not one person our of 200 found them to be accurate. Steps not recorded, too many steps recorded, sleep tracking doesn't work at all. Within two months of receiving these, no one was wearing them. Mine wouldn't stay on because the clasp is so cheap. Then the band started to crack after only two weeks. What a colossal waste of money.

Gave it to my dad for father's day. He tried it with his amazon fire phone, but the app is really slow and doesn't do auto-synching so it's very bothersome. He ended up not using it. Otherwise, it's a good device to keep track of your daily activity.

I bought a fitbit charge for my wife and one for myself. We love them. The ability to connect with other fitbit users has given us even more reason to get active. We can challenge each other daily, and keep each other accountable for how much activity we are doing. We should have gotten these a long time ago.
