This is a great step tracker for people who don't want to have to maintain or adjust a pedometer constantly (like everything you go to the bathroom). Its also waterproof to the point where you can swim in a pool with it, so hand washing and showering won't hurt it. So unlike a hip pedometer, you can get thrown in the pool or hit by rain without ruining the device. The app that comes with it is great, available on iPhone and some androids. You can set multiple silent alarms ( surprisingly effective) , change your step goal, and see all your data in the app. You can set a primary goal which can be step count, active minutes, etc and when you reach it, the device lights up and vibrated and throws a party on your wrist. It also tracks your sleep, which is cool, I'm able to tell my doctor honestly and accurately how my sleep has been (not good- averaging 3.2 hours) and I know how often my baby is waking up at night since it tracks steps during that time as well. if I got it if bed, that's why. the only thing I've found is that it isn't accurate when pushing a shopping cart or stroller. for those occasions I put it in a pocket. overall it is a great value if you're looking for a convenient wrist pedometer. The company listens to feedback and makes great updates.

I've had several trackers. Jawbone Up. Jawbone Up3, Fitbit and FitbitHR. This is by far the best tracker I have used. Love that it keeps track of my heart rate and when I'm in my "fat burning" zone. I get badges and allows me to sync with MyFitnessPal app. My only complaint is that it is a little bulky. It's very masculine. But I'll throw on several bracelets with it and hardly noticeable.

Had I to make purchase today, I would buy the more expensive model that allows you to see step total without needing to check phone or I-pad. Also, for senior citizens ( that's me!), it is a little difficult to put on band. The Fitbit does exactly what it says it will do--I just wish I had done a little more advance homework and considered the issues I did not think of until I used my Fitbit.

Functions as advertised but gets hot and sweaty so I ultimately stopped wearing it.

With the fitbit on my wrist I am conscious of how much I have walked/moved during the day. It reminds me to do a little bit more!

Great tool for motivating me to keep moving! Easy to use and nice flexibility insofar as different color wristbands available.

My girlfriend lives by the Fitbit it has made her life better and she can't help but want to be in the move as much as possible.

Easy to setup and start using, only complaint is display is very easy to scratch.

Use this everyday and I love it. It is waterproof so I never take it off even in the shower. Its easy to track my steps/sleep pattern and interesting to see how many steps you actually take a day. It actually motivates me to take more steps so I can meet my daily goals. I love how it syncs to my phone so I dont even have to plug it into the computer!
