I bought the Fitbit in hopes of it motivating me.

It's wonderful the way it keeps track, but I haven't quite figure out how to keep track of my calories yet. And also it doesn't sync with the iPhone 4. If I didn't have a iPad i would have had to return it.

My daughter and I have been wearing the device daily. Helps keep track of activities, calorie counting. Motivational. Wife found no benefit in it.

It's been a great motivator for her. She started exercising again; at first, "just walking" to increase her step count. Now she's running again. This item is also a great value - it tracks a lot more than the number of daily steps. I highly recommend it, and so does she.
