It's a fun product but probably not sophisticated enough for the extreme athlete. I like the tracking features and dashboards. Wish I had chosen the higher model (I have Flex) so that I would have some info on my wrist instead of only on the computer.

This had the needed programs to have your child be well prepared for college.

This was extremely easy to set up and is a very comfortable fit - I almost don't even know that it is there. I love the sleep monitoring function and the alarm has come in very handy as I do a lot of outdoor activities where I don't always have access to an alarm clock. My battery life is great - I charge it about every 8 days or so.

I LIKE IT BUT I WISH IT GAVE YOUR HEART RATE. OTHER THAN THAT IT IS GOOD

This is great device for everyday wear. The only negative is that it isn't 100% accurate if you use your hands a lot.

It's especially fun when you add a little friendly competition. Quite eye opening.

I've been using MyFitnessPal for 3 years to track exercise and calories, but, paired with FitBit Flex I am reminded and congratulated on my goals. So easy to wear, forget it's on my wrist. So far no issues with pairing to my smart phone, and the sleep monitoring has been 'right on'. Love it, sorry I didn't purchase sooner.

This particular model doesn't have the heart rate sensor or full screen, but it's low profile, easy to read, and has really motivated her to walk more. The interchangeable bands accessory matches well with several of her outfits.

i think the fitbit is great, it was a great price, came with 2 wrist bands. i like that it syncs into myfitnesspal for me. it keeps track of my walking which is what i wanted it for and i love that it tells me my sleep pattern. it is a little bulky on my wrist and it is tough to still wear my watch but other than that i love it.

I purchased this to help keep me moving and motivated through the cold winter months when I usually like to hibernate. Plus my office job has me sitting too much. The setup was super easy and I have had absolutely no problems with it. Works as it is supposed to and keeps me working toward my goal every week. Great purchase!

I got it for my wife, and she is loves it. Keeps track of all her workouts and calories burned and sleep quality.

With my flex band I found out how much walking I was doing and that my sleep was interpreted by outside noises too often. I have walked over 25000 steps now, burn over 3500 calories, and walked over 10 miles in one day. Never knew this before.

without a display, it's difficult to switch to sleep mode and back. also, you have to connect to your computer to get any information, which is not always convenient. If I had it to do over again, I would definitely buy a unit that had a display.

This is the second one I've purchased for a gift and they loved it!! I'll be buying another one again soon I'm sure!

Bought as a gift for my wife. She was able to easily get it connected to her Android phone and is happy with it.
