So have purchased FitBit Flexes for both myself and gift for wife. We are both heavy workout folks, so put it thru pretty hard paces. My "indicator lights" went out pretty quick, which I can do without, as the monitor keeps working. BUT, my wife's monitor twice would not keep a charge so have replaced twice. When it works, syncing with apps is very good & informative. Guessing for as much as we do, should have gone for more pricey monitors.

The flex is my first fitness tracker and I love it. It tracks the essentials in a small package. Step tracking isn't perfect, but very close. The software and reporting tools make this tracker shine.

The basic Fitbit is all I wanted and truly is what it is. I don't need to get all fancy with more than my numbers but the option is there in the app. Can't complain about that.

I bought this because all my friends are using it. We have so much fun seeing who can do the most steps each day. I recommend this to everyone

It great as a motivational item. I wish I would have waited for the new version with the visual feature

Would not recommend this product for all. Had an allergic reaction to the silicon band and had to discontinue and also return the product.

I have enjoyed my new fitbit very much. I realize it does measure high on steps, but I take that into account. I would recommend this product.

Pretty cool what it can keep track. I still dont think it is very accurate on the step count or sleeping pattern. But a pretty good estimate

I love the app features that some with it. Occasionally, it will have difficulty connecting to the app, but most of the time it is great!!!

I really love this product it works great and is really comfortable to wear. I appreciate the large library of exercises and food diary items that helps me stay honest and make good goals to be healthier.

Works well overall, but a couple times the battery dropped without warning in the middle of a workout but it does what it is supposed to do.

The FitBit is a great idea that is not 100% technically executed in this version of the product. The USB charging dongle doesn't tightly hold the FitBit tracker after the first few weeks. Recharging is dicey. This is a known problem documented on the internet. The best solution is to request an updated Dongle from Fitbit. I am still waiting after 2 weeks.

I bought one flex for myself and it broke after a few months. The customer service department at fitbit is so great! It was easy and fast and my replacement was shipped. I thought my problem was a fluke so I bought another one for my husband so we could compete. Well his is about a month old and it's showing signs of problems. It's great if it would work.

This was for my husband. He liked it, but lost it after only 2 weeks. He was charging it in his truck and was trying to get the small piece in the bracelet and it fell between his seat and down deep into the wiring harness under the seat. Never to be seen again. Of course, the protection I bought doesn't cover it when it's lost or stolen. So, he's going to try the Jawbone. It's one piece, so it won't be so easy to fall into a crevice.

I hardly know I'm wearing it. But I have difficulty fastening it due to arthritis. I enjoy comparing my usage with my daughter and husband.

This technology will expand to other uses; and the application to things beyond just tabulating steps is both interesting and perhaps edgy.

I've been wanting a fit bit got it for $50. I wanted to return it but was disappointed with return policy only 30 days.

The first one I purchased did not work and took it back and got another one and it works great - it is addicting because you want to keep walking more and more to beat what you have already done!!!

My rating would be much better, but less than 60 days after purchase the battery will not hold a charge. I am working with the Fit Bit team on getting a replacement. If they replace it, my rating will go up and I'll chalk the battery not holding a charge up to "stuff happens." I don't expect a product to be perfect, but I do expect service and for them to make it right when it isn't. Fingers crossed they send me a new one without hassle!

I was surprised at the accuracy from the sleep monitoring portion. The steps are accurate and I love the app for monitoring caloric intake.
