the Fitbit flex works exactly as advertised. The tracking software is very good, the sensitivity can be adjusted and it works great

I like the step counter, but I wonder about the calories burned calcs. Also, doesn't seem to pick up calories burned or active minutes associated with non running activities. If you're looking to monitor your heart rate or calories burned during cardio heavy workouts, then this wouldn't be the product for you. I do like the bracelet, and the color variation allows you to coordinate with your workout attire/day-to-day wear (if you ever actually worry about those sort of things). App is easy to work with. Intrigued by the scale, but I'm not ready to pay $130. Lastly, I've had issues with the charger. It doesn't seem to keep the bit in place when charging. As a result, I've basically stopped using it because the battery doesn't hold up. For the money it feels like there are other alternatives. For those workout enthusiasts who enjoy cardio workouts over running, I would not suggest this product.

I've used the Up bank and the Fitbit Flex. The Flex edges out the Up band because it is more accurate and durable. I absolutely love it!

I loved the flex but I felt like I needed an upgrade for the added features

OK, buy this but never swim with it it's water resistant to a point - have drowned a few Also, the bands come loose - be careful looking into 3rd party bands because the fitbit genuine bands fail horribly. after this round of fitbit devices, i'm going to go to another vendor like polar or garmin for the ruggedness
