I got this because my husband had been bragging about how really great this thing is, and how well it's been measuring his steps. But I immediately figured out that it was counting when I move my arm, even when I hadn't taken a step. As soon as I tell it that I'm awake it would already say I took up 20 steps. Sometimes it will say I went to sleep in the middle of the day because somehow I tapped on it accidentally. You should just wear it specifically when you're going to walk, I don't really believe its sleep mode reading either. It would show that I slept bad or woke up a bunch of times when I felt like I slept like a rock and vice versa.

Love it wear it everyday. Love how comfy it is to wear.

The Flex is much better than the Zip version of Fitbit (which died for no known reason after a few months), but I keep waiting for a product from this company that'll easily deliver everything promised in the models. Set up took days; Fitbit tech support didn't respond to my requests for help until 3 days after I wrote (note: there's no one to speak to live). After start up glitches were resolved, there were numerous communications from them that asked the same questions 4 times. I've had other questions about this product's performance but it doesn't seem worth going through additional disorganized customer service with these guys.

I like keeping up with my exercise habits, like walking and running.

I planned on buying this months ago when I first found out about it but was quickly disapointed... one band was too tight and the other band fit but easily caught on things.
