Many appreciate the long battery life, comfortable size and weight, and the motivational aspects of the device. Beware of the clasp on the band!

I love the Fitbit, but the clasp on the band does not go all the way through both bands and I am afraid I am going to lose my Fitbit. My neighbor found one in the park while jogging last last week, and I am sure this is why. I have ordered a new band with a buckle clasp from Amazon.com to replace the factory clasp. The Fitbit is easy to use and has given my valuable health information that has allowed me to learn about my sleep and exercise, and adjust my diet and water intake. I am very happy with that aspect, along with the price. I would recommend this to a friend along with the advice to buy a different band!

Fitbit keeps me fully accountable to track goals

I researched activity trackers for a while before finally deciding on the Fitbit flex. I almost didn't purchase this item because I wanted a tracker that showed actual steps count, time and a visible screen besides 5 dots that light up to show progress. Now, with that being said, I went with the Fitbit for a couple of great reasons; Fitbit community is beyond amazing, customer service gets a A+ in my book, the dashboard is very detailed and allows more tracking for activities, sleep log, how proficient my sleep was, log food, water, blood pressure, glucose, mood and has a diary to describe the day. The friends log is fun as it has a way to cheer on friends, taunt and message to encourage them. Detailed graphs show daily, weekly, monthly and all time progress. Steps can be increased to make new goals as I become more daring with my fitness. Since having the Fitbit I have easily been motivated more to workout and get more exercise. There is nothing more challenging and fun than to get my steps count in, feeling the band buzz and light up to show when I hit my goal and to see my name go up the line on my friends list as I go up in daily count with steps and progress. If I would have known it would have encouraged me this much, I'd have bought one a long time ago! Money well spent for this activity tracker!

    Worth Purchasing!

I have bought and tested UP by Jawbone, Garmin Vivofit and the Fitbit Flex. All three synce with MyFitnessPal App, however the Jawbone only worked with the mobile app unlike Fitbit where I can view my Dashboard on the computer or iPhone or Tablet. I tried to get the Garmin to work but I couldn't get past the set up (sync) start so I returned it the next day. So far the Fitbit Flex and Aria Scale have been working out. I haven't tried using the sleep function but you do have to tap the FitBit right before sleep in order to set it to sleep mode which I often forget. They have a new one that has auto-sleep if you are worried about that. One good thing about UP by Jawbone was that it did have a more detailed sleep program than Fitbit but the Flex is good enough. I would recommend the Flex over the rest.

This is the third fitbit I have purchased for our family. I was originally skeptical about the the usefulness of a monitor like this but it really has turned out to be helpful in showing us our relative activity/sleep levels and motivatied us to "move around" more.. There are monitors with more features, but this is a good and reasonable starter..

The Best Tracker On The Market!

I bought this tracker as an upgrade to the Fitbit One I already owned. I wanted something that was a little easier to use especially during sleep. This tracker does NOT disappoint. I love it. It's designed to be worn 24/7. It's light, stylish and easy to use. While this tracker does not have a numerical display, it does have LEDs that will show you how many steps you've taken based on your goal. It also has a vibration sensor in it that will vibrate when you reach your goal. Sleeping with it is a breeze and it's very accurate. The only drawback is that the battery life is short at only 5 days, but that's a small price to pay for the great things it does. I've tried other trackers and this one is simply the best. It also comes with two bands, small and large, and the sizing has a wide range so just about anyone can wear it easily.

I bought this to keep up with my steps. Just knowing it's keeping track is motivation, and it celebrates when you hit your goal for the day. The accuracy isn't perfect, but none of the fitness trackers are, so I figured why pay for a more expensive model. It syncs easily with my phone. The band is hard to clasp, but once hooked I've had no problem with it falling off. Because I've read that others had this problem, I bought a couple of small o-rings in a coordinating color. Cheap solution.

I purchased one of these for my wife because I enjoyed the one that I won so much. It is a great tool for maintaining your overall health progress. Love the sleep mode and the fact that it even alarms to wake you up. Great product and its so light and unobtrusive that you don't even realize you have it on most of the time.

    Excellent Little Champ!

I have been with the Fitbit Flex for 3 days now. But since I believe my experience of it is not going to change over the upcoming days, I feel I can write this review now. I have read all about the Flex's inaccuracies, its falling of the wrist, its inaccurate sleep tracking, etc. Well, I know that no device can be 100% accurate. The very fact that this device can be close to accurate and give you a good idea of where you are activity wise, is GREAT! I do my own error corrections on the data I get from this device, and get a ballpark idea of where I am. For example, if the Flex says I did 11,000 steps for the day, I am happy that I reached 10,000+ steps that are required for an active lifestyle. Same with sleep. It says I slept 3 hrs two nights before. Its obviously calculating on hand movement during sleep. But we know that a restful sleep needs less hand movement. So I try to do things that would induce a restful sleep which includes less hand movements. Any sleep that has too many hand movements is not restful sleep, which is what I want to strive towards. This device is definitely helping me live a healthier lifestyle. And it looks incredibly cool on my hand. Very slim, very attractive. I wear it outside my coat to make sure it keeps reminding me to get up and move. And I move a lot after this came into my life. Since I have an iPhone, integration is seamless. The app looks great, and also syncs with MyFitnessPal, making this Fitbit all the more worthy. Though it says I can charge it once every 5 days, I charged it after 2 days itself. And the clasp issue is non-existent for me. For me, I press it hard and it clasps, making a tiny clicking sound indicating that its secured. And I have not removed it even in the shower as its water proof/resistant. I love the Flex, and I am waiting for their next update to their line of products (not Force, coz its not water proof).
