Customers are saying

Customers are satisfied with the Flex Wireless Activity Tracker's sleep tracking, ease of use, and accurate step tracking capabilities. Many appreciate the long battery life, comfortable size and weight, and the motivational aspects of the device. While some users mentioned challenges with the charging mechanism, clasp, and price point, the positive feedback on core features outweighs these concerns. The water resistance and alarm features also received positive comments.

Easy way to follow fitness/diet goals

Got this since it syncs with the MyFitnessPal app that I already use on my smartphone and is a really good complement to it. Great way to keep up with your diet since it follows your activity to help determine what calories you truly burned. Some activities aren't monitored as well (exercises that don't have a measurable "step" like skating). This can be easily solved by manually adding an activity within their application (web/smartphone). If anything, I wish the band/tracker didn't just use lights. I'd like to have the ability to have a way to "tap" on the tracker to see actual #'s (calories burned, etc) vs having to go my smartphone app. All-in-all, I'm happy with my purchase.

I've had my Fitbit for almost four months. I love my Fitbit. This is a great tool to help with losing weight and getting back in shape. It has pushed me to stay more active and competing with friends is motivating and fun. Fitbit has also been great at helping me keep track of what I'm eating. My biggest issue was that even the large wrist strap was on the small side. A couple emails to Fitbit customer support and they sent me a free XL wrist strap.

    Great Product

I was a little worried on the mixed reviews on the Fitbit Flex. I currently own the Fitbit One and loved it. I haven't had the issues with the clasp being difficult on the band nor the accuracy. I did P90X Kempo which has a lot of steps and arm movements. I wore my Fitbit One to measure against and it is was only 100 steps off, so fairly accurate. Battery life seems good so far. It tracks when I wake up during sleep more accurately than the Fitbit One. a.The only issues are: it doesn't log stairs like the Fitbit One, nor does it have a display on the device itself, but other than that I love it.

Don't listen to the negative reviews. Having owned the Nike Fuelband, Fitbit Ultra, and MotoActv I can say the Fitbit Flex is my favorite device. Comfort and accuracy is what's important to me and Fitbit does it better than anyone else. I really like the stats and the ease at which it syncs to my iPhone/iPad. I know, it has a limited display but that might be the reason this thing is so lightweight and comfortable to wear. The 5 LED lights are just enough to communicate to me how my day is going. And the tactile response when I complete my goal is awesome. Fitbit tracks stats like no other device I've owned. And their website and apps are very nice. I highly recommend this device if you enjoy working out and looking at the stats over time.
