Customers are saying
Customers are satisfied with the Flex Wireless Activity Tracker's sleep tracking, ease of use, and accurate step tracking capabilities. Many appreciate the long battery life, comfortable size and weight, and the motivational aspects of the device. While some users mentioned challenges with the charging mechanism, clasp, and price point, the positive feedback on core features outweighs these concerns. The water resistance and alarm features also received positive comments.

Great Device for Curious People
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Flex is a great device for those people curious as to how much they walk in a day and how they sleep. It's also a perfect device for those who want to set goals and motivate themselves to push for better. Will it be 100% accurate? No. Of course not. I am an avid air drummer so the Flex will sometimes register some of my amazing drum skills as steps, but all in all it gives a pretty good estimate on the amount of movement I've done. I was amazed by the sleep tracker as well. In the times that I've tested the sleep mode it has been pretty accurate. The silent alarm is probably my favorite feature. I didn't even think I'd be concerned with such a thing but I have quit using my phone alarm completely and depend solely on the silent alarm built into the Flex because of how effective it is at waking me up. I'm very impressed. I haven't had issues with the set up or their customer service. Things are working exactly as advertised. I'm happy.

Awesome product but the battery doesn't last long
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I fell in love with my Fitbit Flex but have grown tired of having to charge it every three days. I know battery life varies with use, but I've been bummed by how few days I get out of one charge. I know other devices can last anywhere from 6-10 days, including Fitbit's Charge and Charge HR, so I've opted to use another fitness tracker at this point. But if you can get past the shorter battery life, this device and companion app are great! Good build quality, very user-friendly, and nice aesthetic. The app and lights on the wristband are both excellent for motivation, too.

Awesome Accessory
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to pick up a FitBit to try to get more active. I found that just writing down my exercise was inaccurate and not motivating me. Enter the FitBit Flex. Tracks my steps, my really active minutes and my food intake from MyFitnessPal. I started to view exercise more as a game. I always try to do more steps than the last day. For me this device really worked. I enjoy the motivation it gives me. Battery life is great, tracking seems pretty accurate, sleep monitoring is a neat feature too.

Loving the flex
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Im loving the flex already. It seems I am more active trying to get in all my steps. Very accurate I would say it doesnt count steps when your typing or just moving your arm. It hasnt added steps driving either. I can wear it in the shower and It goes to the app via bluetooth on my iphone 5.

Competitive step tracker
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I chose the fitbit flex for its price and for the fact that fitbit is one of the leaders in step tracking technology. That and I was ready to compete against family members to see who would walk the most on a daily average. Since picking it up, I have noticed myself getting up more at work and sit still events to get my steps in. You only need to charge once a week for 30-60 minutes. I highly recommend this if you are feeling competitive towards friends and family.

First Fitbit product, very cool
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used this product for about a week now and I won't take it off. I don't think it's that inaccurate once you set up your stride information. I calibrated mine based on Nike+ Running app, counting my strides and doing a little math. I use it in conjunction with MyFitnessPal app on my iPod Touch. I do all my food/exercise/water/weight logging in MFP and it automatically syncs to my Fitbit account. Info entered into Fitbit also syncs back to MFP. It's a preference thing I suppose, but I'm used to MFP. I do open the Fitbit app quite a bit in order to wirelessly update my progress and view it on the iPod. The sleep tracker is a neat idea. I have mine set to sensitive and it generally says I wake up about 12 times a night. That's probably about right as far as restless sleep goes. It's spot on when I wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. I haven't had the problems that others state as far as counting "ghost" steps while working at a desk or traveling in a car. Mine might add about 50 steps or so during a round trip into town (about 20-25 minutes of driving), but some of this is attributed to the fact that I move while driving. If you're looking to get a casual/general idea of your level of activity and need a little motivation to achieve your goals, this product is probably for you. If you are looking for absolutely spot-on information for serious, intense training, then it probably isn't for you.

Surprised by how much I like it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As these wearable trackers have become more and more common, I've always been a bit skeptical about how useful they would be, or whether I would like one of not. I certainly didn't plan on buying one for myself. When I received a FitBit Flex for Christmas, I decided I had to give it a try. It was really interesting to see how my activity/calorie burn rate varied from day to day, just due to variations in what I had to do at work. I made me see how I could alter my routine in order to burn more calories consistently. Now that I've had it for a few weeks, I've set a goal to burn more calories each day. It will definitely help me achieve that goal, and should help boost my fitness level in the future.

Good but could be so much better
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the FitBit Flex very much. As a new user, it has worked to get my head back into improving my fitness habits. It is very easy to set up. There has been a bit of an initial learning curve as I explore the benefits and limits of it's website. Following are the pros and my wish list for improvements: TRACKING ACTIVITY: even a vague, step counting manner is better than nothing, BUT, it seems that it would be so simple to offer the user the ability to customize activities on the website. I play tennis, do Nordic Trak and yoga. Using the FitBit website, it should be easy to enter these activities manually. Weight Watchers does it. With FitBit a new activity can be created, but the only way to customize a new activity is to describe it in terms of pace of walking, running, swimming or biking. Hard to figure out how to translate tennis to a running pace. I plan to refer to my Weight Watchers web site for that. FOOD: There is a decent database of food, especially branded foods. BUT this database needs to be expanded considerably. And it should be much easier to create customize foods and recipes. Right now it can be done but it is cumbersome. The way I have been doing it is to list each ingredient in, say, a soup, then taking the total nutritional info and entering that when I use "create a new food" to add the recipe to my own personal database. Again, Weight Watchers has a much better system for creating a customized food items/recipes. SLEEP tracking was one of the features that attracted me to the FitBit. I have learned that when you are sleeping, the FitBit merely measures your wrist movement. If you are lying still, trying to go to sleep, FitBit thinks you are sleeping and records it as such. Perhaps a heart monitor could track sleeping much more accurately. FITBIT is hopefully introducing new products in the next few weeks. Here is what I would like to see: - The addition of an activity monitor that tracks heart rate.(keeping the slim size. No mega-watch sized monitor.) - Improved activity customization on the website. - Improved food customization on the website. - Recipe builder on the website. With these improvements, the already wonderful FitBit would be practically perfect in every way!!

ILove Fibit
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this company and have owned most of the fitness tracker models since joining fitbit years ago. I love the interchangeble wrist bands, which prevents wear and tear and allows you to coordinate with what u are wearing. This model is also fairly rugged when it comes to wear and tear. My 1 complaint is not being able to see the number of steps taken with a glance. You have to use your smartphone or other device. Otherwise, great product. I upgraded to a charge HR, which is perfect!
