With a long battery life and a small casing, this fitness tracker is perfect for the minimalist lifestyle. Easy to set up and use and is extremely accurate when it comes to steps. 10/10

We love the Fitbit. We use it every day to track our steps and compete with our other family members online. It is fun and a good way to keep the kids and us in shape. Already loosing a few of those extra xmas pounds I put on. I stays charged for about a week and easy to charge in about an hour.

Very Basic, Does What it Claims to Do

This is a pretty neat little device, but as one other rater said, don't expect much out of it. It's an expensive pedometer. My only complaint is that it isn't interactive. I feel like it could be sold for much less than it is, especially compared to trackers like the Nike + Fuelband. I liked that it synced with my MyFitnessPal app, and it seemed pretty accurate regarding the number of steps I took. I do not like that I can't see the number of steps I took right on the band. I am returning this device today and have already replaced it with the Nike + Fuelband, which costs the same as this device but is more interactive.

I originally purchased the Fitbit Flex since the bands were interchangeable. This fitbit came with two bands which was great -- I traded with a friend so that I'd have two small bands. This is also the only model currently that works with a certain luxury brand. It logs what I need. I wish though, that it could display my steps when I tap it, rather than just dots. The alarm feature is also great. Since using this model, I'm actually on my second one. The first one died on me and fitbit was able to send me a whole new one under warranty even if I didn't purchase it from them.

So far I'm loving the FitBit Flex. It keeps a good count of my activity during the day (and promotes me being more active during the day) as well as helps me with tracking my sleep patterns, an area of improvement for myself. Would definitely recommend to a friend or family member.

You must be 18 to create a profile through Fitbit. Great product for my niece. She likes the interaction through the lights and vibration and then tracking her steps through the day. Great tool to provide an interactive activity motivator for a preteen. Band snaps on tight and stays on.

I picked up the Flex from Best Buy. So far I am enjoying the thing and attempting to test its accuracy. In general, it seems pretty accurate, but it definitely adds the occasional steps when sitting down or moving your arm. The software itself is great. It has a real-time mobile app that tracks activity and a web interface to match. Be aware, this will only sync with certain phones with Bluetooth 4.0. The list is pretty limited right now. If your phone isn't compatible, you can always have it sync up to your computer with a bluetooth dongle. I also want to mention that you can set a silent alarm. The Fitbit Flex will vibrate at the time you set. The sleep monitor is decent and shows when you were awake and asleep. It is not as detailed as other apps like Sleep Alarm on iOS. It appears to be very accurate from my use with it. The downsides? Well it doesn't track stairs. On the web interface it always shows "Curious about your daily claim?" but the Flex doesn't track this while many other Fitbit models do.

Comfortable & stylish, but lousy band & clasp

    Posted .

Overall, Fitbit Flex is a comfortable, stylish, and very compact activity tracker. It provides good basic information without needing a bulky display, and provides more complete information through its computer app. But the Flex has several problems and limitations that preclude my recommending this otherwise spiffy device. Worst of all is the LOUSY, hard to attach, and easily broken plastic band. Its snap-on clasp can be very hard to fully close with just one free hand. It's so tiny that it's easily lost. And, if not fully engaged, it's easy to detach with risk of dropping or losing the device. There's also a very weak glued joint at the light window that WILL fail after just a few months of use. It cannot be effectively re-glued. Frequent replacement bands significantly ups the overall cost of ownership. There are much better after-market bands available, but good ones are quite expensive, often costing way more than the device itself. Also, while the flashing lights display is very compact and stylish, it presents quite a learning curve to understand what they all mean. Particularly annoying is the "sleep mode" which engages seemingly randomly and is complicated to get out of. Overall, I recommend opting for the slightly larger Fitbit ChargeHR with its digital display, advanced information, and far superior band, or selecting another brand such as the comparably priced Jawbone UP2.

Excellent product! My tracker performs exactly the way it's designed to. The entire family has one and we all track our progress. This product makes you want to do better, as well as makes you conscience of your intake.

If you are looking for it to do more than just track your steps and sleeping this one is not the one for you. However I love it for tracking my steps. Although it is a bit bulky and I wish it was thinner.

I bought this when I decided to work on getting back in shape. Easy to set up. Not as accurate as I would like, but it is doing what I wanted it to do - it motivates me. I find myself planning out walks so I will hit my goal. I love plotting my weight loss, and seeing how I slept the past night. For $100 bucks I can't be happier. Had it almost 2 months now and have increased my walking fourfold and have lost 9 pounds. I also learned I need to get to bed earlier to get the shuteye I want.

I have to admit it was a little skeptical to get this one. In a time where there's so many different trackers, it was't easy. But I'm glad I chose this one. It's practical. My mom absolutely loves it. She's obsessed with the app and there's been no regret.

Did a lot of research prior to buying, couldn't wait for Fitbit Force so went with Flex. once you work out the anomalies of the lights and how to put in sleep mode, this is great. Started with 'sensitive' mode for sleep but I'm a restless sleeper so that showed I was awake almost all night, switched to 'normal', the accuracy went to 98%! My wife and I have gotten in a competition over how many steps for the day, she says I have advantage because Italian heritage means arms add additional steps, I think she is just sedentary (Fitbit told her same thing!). This gets more addictive by the day, buy it!!

My wife wanted one of these and thankfully Best Buy had it on sale. Integrates with Health app on iPhone and even tracks sleeping patterns which is really cool. There are lots of different bands available for them too which my wife has fun with

The Fitbit Flex is easy to use with great features. I think it over estimates calorie burn, but I use it in combination with the Lose it app, so I feel that I get a better estimate.

So far the fitbit flex has been easy to use. The one issue I have is that there are no instructions on how to track your sleep. You have to put the fitbit to sleep for it to track.

I love my fitbit and have lost 23 pounds since Nov 13. It is a great motivation to get off the couch. The 24 hr wear ability makes it hard to resist due to I dont have to find a special place for it in my house. I can honestly say that with this product I went from little to know activity, graduated to mall walking, then walmart walking during the winter and now 5 miles a day... I still break for weekends to enjoy a beer however the results are obvious. Everything about my health is better. It is worth your 99 dollar investment to you! One peice of advise would be to buy the extra clasp that will protect it from day to day issues that will knock it off, putting babies in car seats, wearing a back pack....etc. the hardest pill to swallow is losing one of these a month after you finally convince yourself to get healthy. The protection for it is called a bitbelt. I included it as my user name to give you an idea where to find it. Worth every penny, and its very cheap considering

The Flex is a great product but I wish it had a digital display like the Charge, I ended up giving the flex to my boyfriend and getting the Charge for myself.
