Second Fitbit Flex DIED....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the app and website is wonderful. personally, i'm on my second fitbit flex because it won't hold a charge and completely dies. i do a factory reset and same issue. fitbit was no help with the first one as i bought it new from ebay. i purchased my second from best buy and the same issue. i'm waiting to hear back from fitbit customer service...still...i'm going to try the charge or charge HR. if the same happens..then i'll try a different system all together.

Flex band
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Flex works well but the band will not hold up. After spending $30.00 to purchase their replacement band set, two broke immediately & the third is difficult to get on. The prongs are cheap plastic on the replacement bands & break & bend.. Contacted Fitbit & their policy is they do not provide replacement parts. Just sayin, another brand might be a better option.

A quality product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The fitbit works exactly as it says it should, it tracks fairly accurately and it feels very comfortable to wear and sleep with. Only have to charge it every week. Only downfall is if you go in the shower it gets waterlogged and you can hear the water inside of it afterwards.

Wanted to Love it, but inaccurate
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've loved my Fitbit One and waited for the Flex since they first announced it back in January. I was attracted to the ease of use of the Flex. Before I took it out of the box I read the ENTIRE owner's manual. I went to a local running track and measured both my walking and running strides, which I programed into the Flex. I set the appropriate dominate/non-dominate hand. Basically, I did everything I needed to do to make it track accurately. I put the band on and wore it for four days: Friday - Monday. Immediately, I started noticing tracking inconsistencies. It's fairly accurate when tracking my running and walking, but it adds an unacceptable number of steps while I'm just sitting at my desk, reading, watching TV, etc. For example, on Monday, I spent the majority of my day at my desk at work, leaving only for bathroom breaks. By 3 pm, the Flex indicated I had taken well over 4,000 steps. Impossible. The real tipping point for me came when i realized the Flex had added another 350 steps on my drive home! I drive an automatic, my hands never left the steering wheel. The Flex tracks any up and down or swinging movement of your hand. So, when you type, it tracks steps. When you turn the page of a book, it track steps. When you brush your teeth, it tracks steps. This is unacceptable. I'll be retuning it tomorrow.

Keeps me moving
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got a fitbit flex Christmas 2013. Writing this nearly a year later. Still working fine. Motivated me to achieve over 1500 miles in a year. Charge lasts nearly a week and emails you when low. EZ wireless sync with phone and Mac. Had to buy a new rubber wristband after nearly a year, old one was splitting. Will probably keep using this well into 2015, waiting on new tech and will see which is best.

Fitbit is Fantastic
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This small little gem keeps me on track with my steps each day. Just a touch of the wristband and I know if I'm on target for my steps each day. I haven't used the calorie counter yet. I love the badges that you win for accomplishments. I love my fitbit.

Good tracker :)
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the Flex, then upgraded to the Force, and am back to the Flex. I like that the Flex is waterproof, I am able to wear it on my wrist and is not an obvious fitness device. The reason I downgraded from the Force was because I received a rash from the Force. This is the next best thing, and is rash-free. :) I like that the information syncs to the Fitbit site, which in return syncs to Spark People, My Fitness Pal, Microsoft Health Vault, and many other sites.

Digging it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I'm really liking the Fitbit Flex. I haven't experienced any skin irritation and I like that it syncs easily with my calorie counting app on my iPhone. Because it sits on the wrist, it inflates the number of steps you take a day, but any wrist pedometer will do that. If anything changes I'll update my review but so far so good!

Good, but need a better wrist band
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like being able to track my activity, both during the day and night. I can see why I wake up so tired! Wearing it during the day motivated me to walk more. The downside is that it's too easy to lose. It has come off a couple of times when I've been doing physical work. It's too expensive to not have a better way to prevent it from getting lost.

The fitbit flex is mostly great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Flex is great for workouts and sleep analytics, but the battery life slowly depreciates after a few months. Plus the connector got corroded and wouldn't charge anymore.

The bands are JUNK
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my Flex from the standpoint of how well it tracks. It is very accurate for the job it is designed to do. However, the bands that the Flex is carried around in are JUNK. Both the original band and the small band from my boyfriend's Flex have both snapped at that black window that allows viewing of the dots on the device. I tried to have the original band replaced but its a 20 step process including a photo and the receipt so I gave up when I couldn't find my receipt. So, right now I have two broken bands - they still work but I have to be extremely careful not to lose the Flex. I bought both a Flex for my boyfriend and son and their bands have also snapped. You have to take the Flex out from time to time to charge it and that is when all the bands have broken. VERY BAD design.

love it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was unsure which item to purchase, but I am very glad that I went with the Fitbit. The only time I take it off is when I shower. I use it with the My Fitness Pal application and it works great. It tracks my calories in vs out, sleep and will track my steps. The Fitbit is a great tool to calculate how many miles you walk/jog/run and your time. It calculates active minutes to get you moving. I found the web page easy to access and simple to navigate. I recommend this to anyone who would like a tighter control on calories in vs calories out.

Okay for fitness not for sleep tracking
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I like the design although it's nearly impossible to clasp this thing with one hand and I like the amount of options for your fitness and eating HOWEVER I bought this after my jawbone Up24 broke because of the sleep tracking, I was VERY disappointed. Once in sleep mode if your just holding still reading it tracks you as sleeping making it very inaccurate. My up24 was older and could tell the different between reading and sleeping. Very disappointed in the sleep tracker.

Works well, but go easy on the band
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Flex performs as expected and the app is great/very intuitive. The band isn't very sturdy though so be careful.

Most versatile and useful
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a Fitbit Charge HR and I still prefer the Fitbit Flex because you can change the bands as well as use it in a sport cuff. I like to use the Charge HR while working out and the fitbit Flex for daily purposes.

Awesome for tracking calories and steps.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am in love with the fitbit flex. I bought it to help with weight loss I have had it for about a month now and I have lost 8 pounds. My only complaint is the app doesn't have a lot of options for food. I usually use my fitness pal to figure out calories for food then go to the fitbit app and create a new food with the info I got from my fitness pal. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. 4 of my friends have already gotten one for themselves for different reasons. So I obviously would recommend it to family and friends.
