Really? $100 for this? First off, no detailed instructions. You had to go on the website to get the instructions. I ended up going on YouTube to try to get more detailed options to find out the small details. Website instructs to point the battery in the direction of the arrow towards the holes on the band. WHICH holes? There are holes on both sides. Arrow? Arrow is barely visible on the battery. Went through the directions as stated on the site. Five times I installed and uninstalled the software because each and every time it stated when trying to sync, "We found your flex!" Then, "Sorry syncing failed. Try reinstalling." 5 times! Now the band: It is very uncomfortable...stiff and very difficult to get the pins through the holes. You almost need 3 hands to do it! Very poor design. I visioned this falling off easily...if I had even gotten it to work. I had to rate the 'reliability' and 'accuracy' or my review wouldn't be accepted, but truthfully, I never got that far. Taking back to the store today. Don't waste your money.

Since I bought it a few days ago I wear it all the time, except when I take a shower (I know you said you can wear it in the shower but I just don't trust it in the shower) it keeps me motivated and I like viewing my sleeping. I'm learning some of the features but I wish you had a user manual we could download and if you do please email me on where to get it

    Good Product

I ordered this after I lost my Fitbit One. I forgot to take it off while mowing the grass! OOPS. I thought I would try the Fitbit Flex to see how it works. Over all I think it is a good product but I liked the one better. The Flex doesn’t seem to be as accurate, possibly due to being worn on the wrist vs. on my belt or clipped on my pocket. I keep the Flex on 24/7 except for charging. It has a sleek design and is comfortable.

Issues with the flex but still love fit bit

I purchased the fitbit flex to replace the fitbit one and I had good luck with it for about 5 months. I then started having issues with the accuracy of it tracking my steps and sometimes would notice that it would stop responding all together. After a day or so it would start working again. Now it doesn't work at all. I plug it into the charger and it appears to have a full battery but when I disconnect it, the device does not respond. I have contacted Fitbit support who in the past have been wonderful to work with and usually replace the device with no issue. It has been several days but hopefully I will hear back from them soon. I also wish that it displayed total steps and/or time on the wristband.

    Strap problem

The Fitbit worked like it was advertised and I was pleased with its function. However, the strap came apart and, consequently, my Fitbit is somewhere in my yard. Lost! If purchased, get something, like an O ring, that will keep it together.

    Actual color misrepresented

I ordered the "teal" fitbit flex. Online it looked 2-toned, so I ordered it. It is not 2-toned, but instead a solid bright teal/kind of aqua color. I also thought the large band would fit my ankle. Wrong. :( I also found out you can buy an assortment of bands from other sources relatively cheap.

    Best so far

Do I tried the jawbone and I just didn't like it. I gave that away and got the Fitbit because of all the features it has. I was going to get the new Nike Fuelband SE but all the reviews say the Fitbit is much better. After buying, I opened it up, downloaded the app and follow the prompts. Very easy set up. Then after 20 min I check my dashboard and my bday, height, and weight was deleted. I went back in and re-entered the info a second time. Then I noticed that my steps jumped from 129 to 340. This is impossible because I'm on crutches and I haven't even taken 40 steps in the time that I have owned it. Right now I'm giving it a good rating because the features are cool, design, and simplicity is awesome. I'm worried about the tracking now. I'll have to keep an eye on it.

This thing is magnificent, when wearing on my non-dominant arm, it tracks nearly flawless!! Very comfortable to wear, shower with it, jog with it, left weights with it, spill food on it, I don't give a $#$%* what you do to it, it keeps on working!! Great invention by fitbit, worth the money!!

    Poor Design

I purchased one of these for my father and one of the pink ones for my mother. The bands are difficult for many older individuals to fasten themselves (Up by jawbone is a better band for those with limited dexterity). The display on phones for sleep pattern are poor, there were no instructions included with the device, I had to go online to find info to help my parents figure out how to work it, and then with trying to remember to tap repeatedly while watching for certain lights to light up, is just insane. I ended up trashing these and getting them UP 24's Much easier to work with.

It doesn't show the time, so you have to wear a watch in addition to it, and it's not cute. It does count the steps, but it's lacking an idle alert. I have really enjoyed that with my Apple watch because sometimes I get bogged down need to be reminded to get up and move. The band is very hot to wear, so I bought a pendant and wore it around my neck. I ditched it when I got an Apple watch, and I enjoy the way that tracks and the achievements it sends much better.

Great tracker if you can keep up with it...

I purchased my fitbit flex back in January and loved it. After purchasing and raving about my progress to various colleagues - they too purchased varying Fitbit products and we all motivate one another. Sad to say, that the person responsible for at least eight other people's purchase has lost her's. I tried everything in attempt to find my flex, to no avail. I will purchase another tracker but will try to find something that I am less likely to loose. Unfortunately, this was not the first time the clasp on my flex became undone. Buyer beware...Fitbit should strongly consider making a more secure clasp for the flex and maybe even adding a feature similar to the "Find my iPhone" application.
