Customers are saying
Customers are satisfied with the Flex Wireless Activity Tracker's sleep tracking, ease of use, and accurate step tracking capabilities. Many appreciate the long battery life, comfortable size and weight, and the motivational aspects of the device. While some users mentioned challenges with the charging mechanism, clasp, and price point, the positive feedback on core features outweighs these concerns. The water resistance and alarm features also received positive comments.

Inaccurate, Inaccurate, Inaccurate & Inaccurate!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was so excited to finally get my new Fitbit Flex. I set it up and charged the device and proudly wore it the next morning. First thing I noticed it was terribly inaccurate with step counting. Somehow it logged a few hundred steps when I was driving. Second I noticed when I was walking while pushing my daughters stroller it wasn't logging anything. Also the calorie calculation is way off. It said I burned about 158 calories the first 5 minutes I was wearing it. It's basically a laughable device that is beyond useless. It's supposed to track data that pushes you towards a specific fitness goal yet all the data is inaccurate. So why bother? Already returned mine.

Wont Work as Stated
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it for Mother in Law as Christmas present. States will work with Android and IPhones. Couldn't get it to work with any Android devices and you have to have a 4S or newer IPhone in order for it to work. Hers is a IPhone 4.

Poor quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fitbit makes a low quality product that breaks within a few months of normal use. I have had two Fitbit Flex and they have both broken. My original Flex wouldn't accept a charge and would not work at all. My second Flex, the one they replaced the broken one with, will not accept a charge and will not work at all. Not only is this product substandard, they also have terrible customer service. I have made numerous requests, through their system and no one will get back with me. I'm going to start using a different product, one that works. This is a terrible company.

Wildly inaccurate
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After walking 4000 steps, the Flex recorded 2800. After walking 5500 steps, the Flex recorded 2500. After walking nearly 3 miles, the Flex recorded 1.13 miles. This was over a 4 day period, after having set my stride length and all of my personal information. (Height, weight, gender). I only used the sleep tracking feature one night. It showed that it took me 9 min to fall asleep, which is nowhere near accurate, and underestimated the number of times I awoke.

Wildly Inaccurate!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Flex joins previous wrist trackers (Jawbone, Nike) that all fail in accuracy. I was hoping the Flex might have learned from its predecessors and would be better. Nope -- total fail! The Flex adds steps every time you move your arm, even when you're standing still. I wore the Flex along with another pedometer for awhile and saw that the Flex was counting double the number of steps. I had 100+ steps when I woke up in the morning and I hadn't even gotten out of bed. It's just not accurate, so I'm sticking with the One.

Slow Customer Support
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I finally got a Flex and was excited to use it. I have had problems syncing it with my computer and attempted to contact Customer Support after trying online help system. I then received an email stating it might be up to 2 business days to respond to my problem. I find this totally unacceptable and will probably return item if I don't hear from them in 24 hours. They announced this product in January and I have been waiting for the release so I am very frustrated to finally get it and it is unusable.

Horrible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the flex as a Christmas gift. It worked for a week when the company decided to create the ability to sync with phones. In doing so, my flex stopped syncing entirely, battery started draining in a few minutes. Horrible. I emailed fitbit and was told to reset it then sync as a new device. STILL did not work. Fitbit was emailed again and they did not contact me back. Lost my business and I intend I going back to the store and getting something different and better with my gift card.

Wildly inaccurate
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just purchased the Fitbit Flex today. After installing the software on my desktop, I walked to the kitchen and back in my rather small house. How amazed I was to discover that the round trip distance is 519 steps! I then sat in my recliner to eat lunch - another 228 steps. Wow! I can get fit and lose weight by simply eating and reclining! Useless junk. I will return immediately.

Lasted less than 4 months
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased three fit bit flexes. One lasted 4 months and would no longer accept a charge. The second did not make it out of the store before failing and the replacement that Best Buy provided lasted less than one month before it failed to hold a charge for one day. A very bad product that I would rate below poor.

Big Disappointment
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was really impressed with the Fitbit. This is my third one. I started with the Ultra, then went to the One, now the Flex. I upgraded each time because they kept getting better. However, this last iteration is a big disappointment after the long wait. I pre-ordered the Flex in March and received it in May; only to have it quit on me after a week. I had the others for a year each and they still work. Besides, the Ultra and the One track floors; the Flex doesn't.

BEWARE of Warrany
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had my Fitbit Flex for less than a month before it quit. I didn't do anything unusual, not exposed to anything unusual. Fitbit was going to replace it... until I produced my receipt. "oh sorry, not an authorized dealer". The warranty and 45 day satisfaction guaranteed policy do not mention place of purchase, but that was their reason for not exchanging my Flex. So, Beware! It may work, but you may not get the warranty you think you are getting.

Wouldn't buy again
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do not buy this. It is terrible. If you sit in a recliner that rocks it adds steps. And also if you push a grocery cart while shopping the vibrations will put it into sleep mode. I returned the jawbone up for the fit bit. Jawbone is definitely a better device.

Hyped up pedometer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a hyped up pedometer that measures step based on hand movement. The sleep tracker is pretty useless

Band comes loose!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had my flex for 5 days and it fell off while I was out one day. Didn't feel it fall off- no idea where I lost it. It had come slightly loose earlier that day 2x but I caught it! Same thing happened to my son- lost his after 4 days! Do NOT buy this product. The band needs to be changed so that it's more secure- SO disappointing!!!!!

Lasted 18 hours
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fitbit customer service isn't easy to us. Service is via email only, no live chat or phone options. This fitbit lasted all of 18 hours. The dongle for the computer sometimes worked, many times didn't. The actual device wouldn't transmit information after 18 hours. Not sure I will try another one.

Failed to work at day 15. Battery issue
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from Fitbit One to Flex. At day 15 the battery failed to charge and no one had a replacement in stock. Doesn't display steps or track stairs. Just not a good upgrade from the One, if you like the One's feature set.

Battery quit holding a charge within 14 months
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Battery quit holding charge in 14 months. Warranty only good for a year. Switched to a Garmin. Love it. Fit bit offered 25% off another. Why would I do this. Don't want to buy a watch every year. Talked to many with a Garmin. Change battery yearly!

Inaccurate compared to FitBit One
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wore this device for nearly two weeks along with a FitBit One for comparison, it was inaccurate counting steps for known distances... it's sad, I really liked wearing the Flex. In the end, I returned it.

Good technology although not entirely accurate
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Faulty design. Band is glued in middle. First flex broke in two after month. Replacement only lasted a week before doing same. No longer using. Waste of money.
