I am using the FitBit to loose weight while maintaining a glucose/insulin balance. After many years of carb counting, I am now aware of the total calorie picture. I also use it to moderate my energy drain, knowing when I must back off to maintain the balance. It also gets me out and into action rather than sitting around, waiting for weight to fall off. It does a fantastic job of tracking, is waterproof, and tracks sleep patterns. What is not to like?

Not a bad product. I love being able to monitor sleep and steps. A huge thing is the competitive options with others at work.

Got this for fathers day. Got one for the wife too So we can compete with each other. Thinking about getting the charge also

The sleep data is not as robust at that from Jawbone UP. And you can not see data on another person you have linked with. But otherwise, it is easy to use, water resistant (can wear in shower), and bluetooth connectivity is great! Also when linked with the Aria scale, weight management is made even easier! Quick tap to see step progress is good.

I really wanted to see what was going on with my sleep pattern,,put my fitbit on sensitive sleep and was amazed to see just how restless I really am...data to talk to a doctor about.

The FitBit was easy to set up and is very simple to use. It's an effective representation of my activity (and more important - inactivity) to motivate me to achieve my fitness goals.

Easy to set up and use. The band is a bit difficult to close when item is new and stiff. New closure design in the future?

I love the fitbit! I have had an awesome time seeing my steps recorded and seeing what a difference doing my workouts does! I am such a happy camper and I have lost 3 pounds already!

This is a great fitness tracker. It is inspirational and encourages more steps. It is easy to keep track of where I am and what I have earned to eat. I really enjoy the sleep monitor option. I find the only downfall is the calorie tracker. I prefer other options ie. Sparkpeople.

Overall, I am very happy with my fit bit. It is easy to use and seems to be fairly accurate.

The tracker is nice because it also logs your sleep, miles, and steps. However, it doesn't show the progress in numbers or track stairs like the other fitbit models, and the tracking isn't as accurate if you aren't swinging your arms. Overall though it is still worth the investment and helped me loose weight, I would still recommend it!

Bought this item for my wife who already wears a watch every day. At first I didn't know how this thing would work for her but she wears it daily and tracks her steps and stuff.

After looking at the MisFit, I was told that the FitBit was more accurate and reliable. This is true. It keeps me on track. I purchased one for my son as well. He is pleased too.

Was very easy to set up with my phone and is pretty easy to use and under stand.

It works just as advertised and is a great fitness tracker. The app is user friendly and keeps tracks of how many steps and calories you burn. It even tracks your sleeping patterns.

Great tracker for steps and sleep. Not a great piece of jewelry... so I forgot to wear mine. Charges quick! Great gift, too!

generally I like it a lot. easy to connect to iPhone. I like seeing my activity. Sleep mode tells you about movement in the night which is interesting. You have to put it into sleep mode and learn what the blinking lights mean. I think a cheat sheet would be helpful. I don't wear a watch so it took a little getting used to on my wrist.

Pretty much the same as the band that comes with the original FitBit, but in a different color for my wife. The one complaint I have about the replacement bands are the clasps that come with them are cheap and break far too easily. The original is solid and fits pretty well, but these replacements come with a hollow, thin piece of plastic that usually breaks within a month. Luckily, you can keep using the original clasp so it's kind of a moot point unless you have lost or broken the original.

I had my Flex for a couple of years and it never fell off. I bought the Force and within a week lost it as it kept falling off... It has the same design of the hasp for the Flex and the Force - I assume the additional weight of the Force is what was causing the repeated opening of the closure mechanism. A waste of $125 but at least I still had my Flex and switched back to it - I will not buy another Force and would not recommend jot to anyone.

I love the fitbit. It's comfortable the wear and provides a motivation to park at the end of the parking lot or to take the stairs.
