My girlfriend wears it every day and he insists on showin me her daily results. She loves it so I'm happy.

The fitbit is good for moderate to mild exercise. I don't run so I don't know if it is effective for runners.

Faulty wrist band. Fell apart / tore only after one month of use. Best Buy will not warranty. Must call Fitbit.

Good at tracking walking and sleep. It is a little more difficult for tracking food and other activities. The battery holds a pretty good charge but it is now not connecting to the adaptor charger. I have to hold it to get is charged.

Great tracker to monitor steps and active minutes. Pain to enter calories and food intake (no scanner app).

this unit was difficult to set up. Required several attempts to create an online account. Light sequence on the wristband it was difficult to read could not get the unit to enter sleep mode. Never got a recording of my sleep patterns. Conducted 30 minutes of arduous workouts in the morning if the unit showed only 5 minutes a strenuous workout. Don't waste your money!
