I do love my Fit Bit and it has forced me to walk more. The only problem that I seem to keep having with it is that it won't always sync with my phone. I had no problems with it when I received it as a gift in December. I had to have it replaced in March because it wouldn't charge anymore. With the new one I got in March everything seemed to be working fine until May. From May until now it will not sync properly. I press sync, I get a Bluetooth is off message even though it is actually on. Then I press the message "Turn Bluetooth on". Then sync again. Which at this point I get a message "Can't find tracker". I have actually had to do this series of steps for 20-30 minutes every time. I have tried turning my phone off, which sometimes helps. And I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program which has not helped. There have been some new updates from Fit Bit in the past couple of days so I'm hoping this will help. I really don't think it's my phone since I had the Fit Bit on this phone for 5 months before this problem started.

The Fitbit is accurate and easy to sync with phones or the computer. I like the size compared to the newer wider models. The web site has many options to support over all fitness such as weight and food tracking. It would be nice if it displayed the step total vs just flashing dots, but it is easy to sync.

Fitbit makes you decide which end of a trade-off to come in on. You can get the Flex and not worry much about water, or you can get the Force and have a watch and other visual cues. I picked the Flex because it seemed like less hassle to not have to keep it dry, and I liked the replaceable band. I do wish the display was more flexible, though. I will show your progress in 1/5 increments, but it can't show battery charge or time. The step tracking seems accurate, but it doesn't seem to differentiate between walking or running, so the distance is off if you run at all. Overall, it's been helpful as a way to see how much I'm doing. It's main benefit has been mostly as a motivator to get off the couch.

Overall I like the product. The phone app is great and very easy to use. I like the minimalist design of the fitbit itself and my wife (primary user) didn't even notice it on her wrist in a couple days. She loves challenging friends and meeting her goals. The app even let's you track your sleep (maybe her favorite feature) and record your calorie intake and water intake for the day. On the negative side, motion tracking still needs work. She'll rock our son to sleep for 30 minutes and the Fit bit records it as 30 active minutes. But then she'll go to boot camp in the morning and only gets 9 active minutes? Weird. Also, the fitbit doesnt automatically know when you go to sleep; you have to tap it several times to activate... Easy to forget. Overall, i still recommend this one as the fitbit to buy. I didn't see the value in paying $30 extra for a watch... I'd rather just go all in with a smart watch if I want time on my wrist. If you want more than a pedometer and great app I'd look elsewhere but this does those two things very well.

    Flex looks better than charge

I love all the things the Charge HR does, but I passed mine off to my husband and got a Flex again (the same one I had way back when) solely because it looks better on a female. It's just worth it to me to sacrifice the display. What I miss the very most is automatic sleep detection, which I would think they could add through an update. I happened not to care about the heart rate monitor like I thought I would anyway since I'm more a walker/mover than a hard-core runner or gym fanatic. I also love that you can switch the bands out with the flex (French Bull are my favorites).

the fitbit flex is as advertised. I get regular/daily information about my daily and weekly physical work load. I work in a physical environment and had no idea how many steps I take in a day. Plus you can track what your sleep patterns are. Nice little tool for everyday life as well as tracking workouts. Haven't tried calorie intake use and requirements as I am very aware of both. Nice product

Love my Fitbit Flex, which was recommended by my son. Very easy to sync with iPhone and iPad. Like both the activity and sleep tracker. The battery last 5 days and recharges quickly. Joining the different challenges with family/friends definitely motivates you to increase your steps and makes exercising fun!

This is my second Fitbit Flex. It really help motivate me to run and for just general steps. I am reaching 3 million steps so far this year, mostly running and have used the Fitbit the entire way. I would highly recommend the Fitbit Flex. Fitbit replaced my first Flex and while I was waiting on the replacement I bought this one to keep my steps going. So now my wife has one as well.

I bought this for my wife's birthday. She volunteers at a local hospital and always wondered just how many steps she actually makes on one of her shifts. Now she knows. Easy to use, but would suggest a dark band. I got her a pink band, she's a girl right.... But it does get dis colored. I had to get a pack of dark colored ones (3 for $23.99). Great gift tho' . Happy wife, Happy life !

Tracks steps well. Just a little disappointed that I can bike on a stationary bike for a half hour and when I check my progress in active minutes it reads zero. Also, doesn't have the availability to scan in food barcodes for fast recording of daily meals. Easy to use and clean. Its a good pedometer.

I bought this device for full intent to help me with my weight. Well mission accomplished! It tracks my steps and how much activity I have done in the day. And i absolutely love the sleep tracker. And the best part? It works with the fitbit app on my iPhone perfectly! The pink so vibrant but it gets dirty quite fast with long sleeves. Only con I have. Other than that, its amazing!

I bought this for my wife and she loves it. It is very good at tracking her daily routine and her sleep patterns. She has it sync with her phone and tablet. The only bad part about it is the band. Twice it has fallen off her wrist because of the hook note holding. They need to make a better clasp!

I chose this Fitbit because it is narrower and fits better on my wrist. It has made me aware of how much time I used to spend sitting and not moving! I have set goals and try to achieve them each day. I also like the feature that measures how much sleep you get at night, and shows you how much time you spend awake or restless. The Fitbit has changed my life for the better!

This is a great product. It works wonders. I'm using it after pregnancy and I've already started losing weight. I will continue to use to track active level and fitness after losing the weight as well. It's a nice product. Mine doesn't need to be charged very often and it motivates me to walk more. Start slow if you're sedentary and then build yourself up with challenges. Good product.

The Fitbit does everything I wanted it to do. I mainly wanted it to track steps and calories. I wish I had bought the one that also tracks flights. I just was not thinking. My iPhone does that, but i don't always have my phone on me. My only complaint is I have difficult snapping it on.

Really have liked both FitBit products I have owned, but bought this to replace my FitBit One which I kept misplacing. It's size was it's greatest advantage and disadvantage. I do not think I will misplace the wrist version. Charge lasts a very long time. Set up was very easy with the iphone app.

I bought this to replace my Fitbit Zip. This tracker is much more accurate and feels like it isn't there. It is a great way to track your steps, and it gives you little celebrations when you reach your goals. The app is also great way to look at your trends in terms of estimated calorie usage, number of steps, how many miles you have walked. I would definitely recommend.
