Doesn't do what it's supposed to do

I could swallow the price gouging on this item if it was as advertised. Miraculously, I burned 600 calories in my sleep and, notwithstanding the actual size of my bedroom, as it turns out, it's 147 steps to my bathroom. It doesn't take my cat 147 steps to get to the bathroom. I'll concede that it is possible that the fault might lay, in part, with a terrible app. However, the hardware is recording the stats and its what cost $150. I have NEVER written a bad review of a product even when one was in order because I didn't think it would do any good. However, if this review keeps one person from wasting his/her money It was worth doing

Don't understand it

The display consists of a series of flashing dots and you're supposed to know how to interpret the dots. Like morse code. Son hates it. It's for sale now.
