Customers are saying

Customers are satisfied with the Flex Wireless Activity Tracker's sleep tracking, ease of use, and accurate step tracking capabilities. Many appreciate the long battery life, comfortable size and weight, and the motivational aspects of the device. he FitBit is easy to set up and tracks very accurate. I have worn it all day everyday for a few months and I barely even notice I have it on. The battery life could be better but it lasts for a full week on average and I have set up email notifications for when the battery is low. I wish the force was not pulled off the market as I would have enjoyed the display, but I have not lost this one like some of the clip on ones I have had in the past.

The info that this unit provides to you on a daily basis is not only valuable but eye opening. I like that it tracks my sleep patterns and tells me how much activity I am actually doing. The one that I bought unfortunately died after 3 days (wouldn't hold a charge) but I imagine that it was just my bad luck getting a faulty unit.

I bought the fitbit flex yesterday and I really like it so far. It took a little while setting it up on the computer and the app on my phone, you have to click a lot of different things on the phone app to learn it. It is not 100% accurate though. When I put it in the sleep mode in the morning it showed I did steps over night, I never got out of the bed, its showing steps because I turned in my sleep . It showed I fell asleep as soon as I laid in bed. I did not fall asleep until about half an hour, so you can be awake but very still and it thinks your sleeping. Any movement during the night it tells you, you woke up and fell back to sleep in a min. Your steps during the day are not going to be 100 % accurate either, you can move your arm and it says you did a step. I would have given it 5 stars if it showed the accurate readings. The website says it works on the ipad mini but there is not app for the mini yet.

Overall it is great! The only downside is when removing the FitBit in and out of the silicone bracelet it is starting to rip.

    FitBit not worth it

I am very disappointed in the fitbit for those of you who are looking at possibly getting one. They are terribly overpriced for what they do and a pain the the touche. I tried using it for sleep and exercise tracking. However, you have to remember to tell it when you are sleeping and when you are awake. In addition, you can track your sleep through your dashboard, but when it comes time to analyze the data, it only lets you see the current week without buying a premium package FOR ANOTHER $49. I also had problems with Fit Connect on my original computer. Just another stressor that was added to my life instead of my Fit Flex helping me to improve. NOT WORTH IT. If you need to know your sleep for health, try to get a sleep study through your health care provider. And now I just track my exercise manually. Anyone want a Fit Flex for $50? I still have all the packaging and pieces in good shape.

The app that you use with is is great, It may not be the most accurate reading of steps in a day but it at least gives you a good idea as to how active you are day to day.

Have been using the band for last few weeks and I'm impressed with it. Its water resistant and holds good when working. Keeping track of battery is a challenge and would be been a nice add if one of the LED indicated the battery life.

Quit working correctly after 2 months

I loved the flex at first. It was comfortable to me and I loved that I could even track my sleep. It seemed to be pretty accurate. However, after only 2 months it began giving me inaccurate readings. I would put it on in the morning before leaving the house and before I even got in my car, it would give me an alert saying that I had already met my goal of 2,000 steps. I knew that wasn't possible since I hadn't been getting that many steps in a whole day. I tried sending an email to Fitbit support and only got back a standard answer about how the Flex had been tested and proven to be accurate. Well, not if it has something wrong with it. Their support was awful and obviously didn't even pay attention to my email.

I got my Fitbit about a month ago and I love it! It has a great price and great look. It is not the most accurate but I can live with that. I love how you don't have to plug it in for you to sync it up. The bright lights on the face of the Fitbit make it easy to read you progress. Overall great product and good price.

    Great While It Lasted

For the first 5 weeks, the Flex worked great and was instrumental in my success of losing weight and exercising. However, the accuracy declined. My husband walked side-by-side with me on a track for 4 miles. His Flex tracked accurately. I got credit for walking slightly less than a mile. Technical support indicated I need to adjust my stride and re-set the device....neither of which made any difference. Also, at the same time, the sleep tracker stopped working. For a device of this price, I would expect more than 5 weeks of service. There seems to have been quite a few complaints about the bracelet and its ease of use. I found the bracelet easy to use, sturdy, and not a problem to put on/take off.

I exchange the HD version because I thought it was too bulky. This however is extremely difficult to close on your writst if you have difficulty in that area. Its impossible for me to snap in by myself. I do not want to lose it as another reviewer stated. I'm really disappointed. Having RA makes things like this difficult to put on by one's self. Its going back.

Really? $100 for this? First off, no detailed instructions. You had to go on the website to get the instructions. I ended up going on YouTube to try to get more detailed options to find out the small details. Website instructs to point the battery in the direction of the arrow towards the holes on the band. WHICH holes? There are holes on both sides. Arrow? Arrow is barely visible on the battery. Went through the directions as stated on the site. Five times I installed and uninstalled the software because each and every time it stated when trying to sync, "We found your flex!" Then, "Sorry syncing failed. Try reinstalling." 5 times! Now the band: It is very uncomfortable...stiff and very difficult to get the pins through the holes. You almost need 3 hands to do it! Very poor design. I visioned this falling off easily...if I had even gotten it to work. I had to rate the 'reliability' and 'accuracy' or my review wouldn't be accepted, but truthfully, I never got that far. Taking back to the store today. Don't waste your money.

Since I bought it a few days ago I wear it all the time, except when I take a shower (I know you said you can wear it in the shower but I just don't trust it in the shower) it keeps me motivated and I like viewing my sleeping. I'm learning some of the features but I wish you had a user manual we could download and if you do please email me on where to get it

I ordered this after I lost my Fitbit One. I forgot to take it off while mowing the grass! OOPS. I thought I would try the Fitbit Flex to see how it works. Over all I think it is a good product but I liked the one better. The Flex doesn’t seem to be as accurate, possibly due to being worn on the wrist vs. on my belt or clipped on my pocket. I keep the Flex on 24/7 except for charging. It has a sleek design and is comfortable.
