I also have been waiting a long time for this, and went out at lunch time to get it. When I got home and synced it and went on a walk, I realized the flaws that I was worried about. First the step tracking was way off. I wore my fitbit zip to test it out, and after an hour the flex was under by about 400 steps. The other major thing that I couldn't get over, there is no display. I have a hard time putting so much trust in it syncing, even after all the syncing problems that I have had recently with my zip. The clunky sleep function and the lack of floors climbed option were other minor annoyances.

I purchase this product after reading reviews about how good this product is and how easy it was. Well after purchasing this item, went home and try to set it up, no manual at all and even the FAQ's online didn't have much to go by. I was not sure if the product was even turned on properly, I walked around and even jogged to see if it works and nothing. It's so sad because this product has really good reviews.

The Fitbit is great! It is everything I was looking for. I love the that it connects to my phone as soon as I open the app. I had purchased the LG life band first and returned it after 2 days due to not being accurate. glad I did!

It did what it was suppose to but wanted it to do more it was great and lightweight just not as detailed as I wanted

Day 1: I was a little skeptical as to whether or not I was going to find this device to be truly useful. Set-up was a breeze and started my fitbit journey. Day 2: I was starting too really like this tracker and was finding the data to be quite useful. Day 3: I liked it so much I started thinking about purchasing a second one for the wife. Day 4: All was good at 6AM tracking and syncing like a champ. Then comes 9AM and I find the tracker to be completely unresponsive. My first thought was that the battery must be dead so I got out the charger and charged it up. The first thing that I noticed was that not all of the LED’s seemed to be working since the tracker was now displaying “O_OOO” instead of “OOOOO”. The second thing that I noticed was that I was no longer able to connect and sync the tracker with either my phone (Note 3) or my PC which both had been working up to that morning. I tried everything from cleaning the contacts, resetting the device with a paper clip, uninstalling and reinstalling the app with no success. I just can’t get this thing to reconnect to any device and through this whole process the fitbit tracker became completely unresponsive again as if the battery was dead (only about 1hr later). At no point did I shower with or submerge the tracker so the only fluid that it would have come in contact with would have been sweat during exercise or from getting splashed while washing hands. I have since contacted Fitbit customer service to see about getting a replacement unit and have only received a semi canned response telling me to try doing all the things that I have already done. Hopefully they come through and if they do I will update my review. I did love this tracker while it worked but I can’t recommend anything that only lasts 3 days.

It's great I love it. Does everything I want it too and more after owning for sometime I just wished that it showed the time but it's not that big of a deal because I always have my phone on me anyway

The Fitbit customer service people are very nice. This is fortunate, as you will talk with them frequently to replace defective units--so far, two replacements for me, owing to defective batteries. Moreover, the wristband is an annoying piece of junk; the cheap plastic stretches and tears, the computer unit doesn't fit well into its receptacle, and the very cheap clips DO NOT fit into the wristband, unless you artificially enlarge the holes.

Loved being able to track my steps and activity wirelessly throughout the day with this little gadget. Had to return my first one after about 2 months because it stopped charging, geek squad replacement plan allowed me to exchange it. Now on my second one this year and it is also not charging, I will be returning it if I can and hopefully getting a different model.

Bought it as a replacement. So liked it so much that it got bought twice. Also, Best Buy does price matching to Amazon. That's awesome.

Got my FitBit which I was so excited about... I was laying in bed while setting it all up and hadn't taken any steps with it yet. After looking at my steps as I'm still laying down, I had over 30 steps accounted for. I then put it to the test and came to find out just by me moving my arm it counts as a step. I'm highly dissatisfied and so disappointed and will be returning this item. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

This was my sixth Fitbit. Even though I've lost one, had another get permanently stuck in the charger and ended the lives of several more by dropping them, I keep buying them because they push me to jog that extra mile. But the wristband is a loser from the get-go. It's really difficult to close and I don't have the patience to mess with it. So I'm returning it and buying a new Fitbit one WITH AN INSURANCE POLICY.

This was a gift for my cousin. Sure loved it because it was perfect for her lifestyle abs did everything she wanted to. Basic needs and it was on sale. Perfect just perfect gift

This activity tracker is just the right size to wear. Not bulky at all. Does all that it claims. I would recommend this puduct.

If you are looking for a gadget to help you stay motivated on your fitness goals, this one definitely hits the mark.

This is my third FitBit tracker device within about one year. Previously, I owned, the Ultra (It cracked within 4 months.) and the One (It was inaccurate and stopped charging within 10 months.) So, I when I was returning the second useless device to Best Buy today, I thought I would try the FitBit Flex. BIG MISTAKE. Compared to the previous versions which showed your data to you throughout the day, this version does not show your data to you. I might feel differently if I could sync this with my mobile devices. Alas, this hunk of useless plastic won't sync with my mobile devices. So, I won't be able to any of my actual numerical data throughout the day. In order for a pedometer to motivate and to be effective, I believe one needs to see the data throughout the day and not just see additional lights as you meet your goal. Oddly, one of FitBit's mottos is that, "Every step counts." If every step truly counts, FitBit would make it immediately possible for everyone who uses this device to see their data throughout the day. The FitBit Flex was introduced in January 2013. Yet, FitBit has still not possible for most people to see their data throughout the day. For the record, the altimeter that is present in the FitBit Ultra and the FitBit One is also gone. There are better pedometers, less expensive pedometers out there. I recommend you shop for those. If you don't take that piece of advice, do get the extended warranty. I'm not kidding when I say my two previous FitBit trackers have broken within mere months. After this debacle, FitBit has lost my faith and my business.

Bought this for my wife. She did not want one that was too complicated. Didn't want watch or anything. She loves it, lightweight and does the job it was intended for.

I have been looking at different activity trackers and this one has it all. I wish it had a heart rate monitor, but I like that I can change the bands more.

The Fitbit Flex is by far the best wearable fitness tracker on the market. The compatibility with the app is seamless. Will be adding more Fitbit devices in the Aria Scale.

I was disappointed to find out that this product does not have inactivity alerts of any kind, so buyer beware

My daughter loves this one! She loves getting all the lights lit up rather than tracking the numbers.
