Customers are saying

Customers are satisfied with the Flex Wireless Activity Tracker's sleep tracking, ease of use, and accurate step tracking capabilities. Many appreciate the long battery life, comfortable size and weight, and the motivational aspects of the device. While some users mentioned challenges with the charging mechanism, clasp, and price point, the positive feedback on core features outweighs these concerns. The water resistance and alarm features also received positive comments.

Honestly I really enjoyed it for about a month. Then I got bored with wearing it and constantly charging it. I stopped wearing it.

Got this cause the force was recalled. Works well and has a good app that you can use with it. Without app you have little idea how your doing during the course of the day. Would like better interface on unit itself. Still overall very good

I love the website and the app that goes with this. It is a pedometer but the electronic tracking online makes the price worth it.

I had my old Fitbit for 2 years but ended up running it over with the lawn mower so I bought a new one just like my first one because I loved it so much! Fitbit flex is the way to go for an inexpensive activity tracker!!!

I like the Fitbit and the sleep monitoring tool is very good, but for the most part unless you faithfully track everything the device turns into a pedometer on steroids.

The only issue I have is activating the sleep tracker via the flex. I can physically enter the time slept on my dashboard but have issues tracking sleep just using my flex.

Its alright I guess... I question its accuracy, I seem to take more steps than I really do. It doesn't count steps correctly if pushing a stroller or shopping cart, and the sleep tracking feature is way off. If you just want a basic idea of how many steps you take, this will work. If you want to have confidence in your activity level or are serious about fitness, buy something better.

This is my first pedometer. The software is quite sophisticated. Manually entering daily calorie intake, while making one aware of daily nutrition, can be very time consuming.

I have had several of the more elaborate devices in the past, from several brands, but they didn't last. For the money this Fitbit tells me all I need to know.

Battery life is too short - I would have thought it lasted much longer than it does. Avg about 3 days to recharge. And the I don't get any steps added in...

I like the idea of having something like this to monitor my activity for the day and sleep at night. I couldn't get the band to stay closed so I lost it. The vibration portion wasn't working so I was unable to use that in an attempt to find it. I contacted FitBit and the sent a new unit in a reasonable amount of time. I haven't used the new one yet as I am hoping to be able to trade it for the FitBit Force.

Average - issues with accuracy in distance, steps

Putting the fitbit on the first time was terrible. It was nearly impossible to get the band connected. Recommend putting it together before putting it on and then taking it apart and putting it on. Concerned about the continued inaccuracy of steps taken, distance, and active minutes. As compared to my IPOD fitness program and distance measured by vehicle, the FITBIT is off in all 3 categories regularly. Love the sleep monitoring mode and hidden agenda. When this one dies will not purchase another one.

I'm a soccer referee and bought this to track my running during games. If works great and the step tracker is pretty accurate. It's not perfect, but it works very well.

The Flex comes with very little instruction makes it difficult to set it up. I have to download the Fitbit app and goto Fitbit website to get it going. After playing it a few weeks now, it still does not provide accurate tracking. Everything seems to be guesstimates. It's super easy to sync the Flex to my iPhone 4S with the Fitbit app via Bluetooth - the top reason why I pick it over Up and Fuel. However, even with background syncing and silent alarm turned off, I have to take it off my wrist to charge up twice a week. To make the matter worse, the Fitbit app does not give accurate battery life. It would show half battery before I goto bed, then it would run out of juice in the night. This problem along with lack of auto start sleep tracking mode means you must remember manually tap it into sleep tracking mode or you get no data in the morning. Lastly, although the wrist band is somewhat stylish, it begin to show signs of wear with a week of use. Overall it has a few advantages over its competition, yet still feel like a beta product. Hopefully a new firmware upgrade would add auto start sleepy tracking mode, improve battery life, and provide more accuracy tracking.

This thing is incredible! You can go places other fitbits wouldn't go! Furthermore they take into account dominant arm movement and I can wave to people and it doesn't count as steps. This has really helped me strive to meet my steps goal!
