This gadget was very affordable but it doesn't tell you the time which is not useful for running. I am a busy person and constantly having to plug in my stats and refer back on my iPhone or iPad was too time consuming. Not my personal preference.

This Fitbit was horrible with connecting with phone.

Very disappointing! The bracelet broke after two days and you cannot find a replacement part in stores. You have to go thru Internet and it would take ages to get a replacement. The procedure for monitoring your sleep is complex and hard to manage correctly. You cannot get information specifically related to an activity; for example, how much cal. did you burn during you walk between 3 and 5.00 pm? You have to note the information just before and just after and then compute how many cal. you burnt...

Pros: step counting Cons: not accurate calorie burning

Doesn't stay charged, charger doesn't work half the time, doesn't sync correctly almost everytime, the band's aren't very durable. I'm on my second one already.

Love the fitbit but the bracelet design is not good.

Looking for tracker to count steps at work, Fit bit counts every time I move my arm, so need to try different product. May use only while walking or hiking.

Worked great for a few weeks and then the battery stopped holding a charge. Still waiting for Fit Bit customer service to reply to my questions. (3days)

The fitbit is a cool concept but after having the nike one as well I have to say Nike is much better online and motivating. The fitbit just irritated my wrist to the point I broke out in a rash and had to take it off. I will be returning this item.

the fitbit unit measures steps by arm movement which doesn't accurately correlate to actual steps taken. The wrist bands are not durable & develop cracks as a result of the removal/installation in the wrist band.

Great idea when it works.. I returned this after a couple days when it stopped charging, which was the first charge, I will wait until they fix the bugs then buy when the next batch ships

I do not like that the miles and steps do not appear on my wrist but the worst part about this device is that it does not accurately monitor my steps and miles walked or worked out and that was my main purpose of the purchase.

Has to be recharged every day. If I don't remember the recharge it at least every 24 hours the battery goes dead and I get nothing out of it that's a pain in the neck

We have gone through a few versions of fitbit now and every one has problems. Customer service is not helpful...they repeatedly email the same advice. If you buy this product, save you receipt...chances are you will need it.
