The band itself if very comfortable.

It works ok at doing your basic step counter but I am still not fully convinced that this is the best value for the money.

However, when it comes to notifications it is a hit and miss for when it actually vibrates to let me know I have a notification. The fit bit also always seems to want to keep the app running and not closed on the phone to stay "synced". In the past I have never had a fit bit that insisted to stay open for the app to continuously sync.

If it's not running, you may experience delayed notifications, syncing issues, GPS disconnection,and incomplete firmware updates. My problem -- and this is not the fault of the device itself -- is that I don't have access to the Fitbit Dashboard stats because I don't have a Smart Device. The info is not accessible on my desk-top computer.
