Bought one of these for my wife. She liked it so much, I received one from her on my birthday. Easy to use (just keep it in your pocket or clip it on). Gives feedback on steps, distance, floors (yep, stairs), calories, sleep, etc. Syncs with computer up to a web page where you can see charts and stats. Gives you positive feedback. Estimates calories. Doesn't require calibration (measuring your stride) and seems very accurate. What's not to like?

It is like a game trying to hit all the goals. Sometimes the daily goals are pushing you and when you reach them you have badges to strive for. A great motivator to get you up and moving.

    The Perfect Fitness Tracker

I have used the Fitbit Flex and the Microsoft band prior to getting the Fitbit One. As far as the types of activities that I am tracking the Fitbit one has been perfect for me. It is truly a tracker that can be worn all the time. The battery lasts forever and it seems like I rarely have to take it off to charge it. (like maybe every couple of weeks). It gives me real numbers on an easy to read display, unlike the flex that only had the dots providing just an indication of progress towards the daily goal. I also really like the stairs tracking. For general always on, everyday, unobtrusive tracking this has been my favorite device.

I have tried competing devices and this is the best one so far. I have truly found the one. It is very accurate and easy to use. I think that the application needs some adjustments and the device itself should have a manual reset without having to go back to the account online. I had to create a new email to reset the device with a new account. Thats why i gave it a four star other than that great product more than great battery life. I highly recommend it

I absolutely love my Fitbit!! It is easy to use and makes getting up and moving more fun! It is sweat proof but the only down fall is that it's not completely waterproof!

This was an easy to use, fun way to track the distance walked. It also counted steps, flights of stairs & calories burned. It got exceptional time between charges, too.

I am on my second Fitbit, sadly I lost my first one. I love the way I can keep track of my steps so discreetly. And so accurate. I also purchased one for my husband.

The FitBit One is definitely the one if your are looking to be discreet. It's small enough to go into the pocket of your favorite jeans and it can also be worn on top of your favorite running shoes. (I prefer it there) It is very accurate as well. If you want to measure your resting HR while sleeping, you physically have to set it and after waking up, you have to disarm it. That can be a pain, but worth it if you are curious. The size of the One is good and bad. Good for discretion, bad because it's easy to forget that it's in your pocket. Be aware when it's time to wash your jeans. That's why I give it 3 stars. All in all, I do like the One!

The small size is convenient and the hip clip that comes with it stays snug on my waistband. The battery lasts about three weeks and is simple to recharge. Bought one for myself and one for my mother and would recommend it to others.

I bought this and used it for about 3 days. The only reason I returned it is because I bought the FitBit Flex along with the Aria somewhere else for less than retail. I loved the features of the One. It tracks your steps, flights of stairs, calories, has a little flower to show you how active you are, even has a clock on the display. It's nice and small and compact. The only downfall in my opinion is that it isn't supposed to be attached to your belt, but rather to the inside of your pocket. I don't know how that is for other people, but my main purpose in having this is to use it every day (especially at work). I work in a warehouse setting doing order picking so I'm constantly moving...and over a 6 hour period any given day I walk between 5 and 7 miles. With my job I have to keep a box cutter and highlighter and other stuff in my pockets. And I keep change in my other pocket for the vending machines. When digging in my pockets I'm always worried about the One popping out of my pocket. And for good reason. It did happen to me one day and I was EXTREMELY lucky to find it on the ground (after all the warehouse I work in is over 130,000 sq ft). I can't say enough how much I LOVE the fact that it tracks all of these different things and has a display to show you whenever you want to know. Another great feature of both the Flex and the One is that you can track your sleeping habits. The Flex you wear at night like you do during the day. The One comes out of it's little pocket clip and slides into a wristwrap that you wear at night. With my Flex, I don't have the ability to track stairs and the display is made up of 5 small dots (LEDS)...so the only thing it tells you is every 20% of your goal for the day (you choose your goal, mine is 13,000 steps so one light for every 2,600 steps). I also like that the Flex is a bracelet so you don't worry about losing it. The strap has only come loose one or twice and that was because I caught it on something. If you're considering the One, it's well worth the money, just be wary of digging in your pocket while wearing it. If you're considering the Flex, it is also well worth the money, but it just doesn't have as much functionality. THE ONLY REASON I GAVE 4 STARS INSTEAD OF 5 IS DUE TO MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH NEARLY LOSING THE ONE AT WORK. FOR MOST PEOPLE, I DON'T SEE THIS AS AN ISSUE. I hope this is helpful for anyone considering the two.

This tracker is easy to clip on and wear without having to have it on your wrist. Tracks steps and flights of stairs. Syncs with app. Only downside is the clip needs to be replaced more often than I’d like.

Setup was a breeze. Once I started counting my steps, I could see how little exercise I was really getting. Once I setup my weight loss goals, it would tell me how many steps I needed to walk depending on how aggressive I wanted to be with the weight loss and also how much food I ate that day. Works with PCs, iPhones, and Samsung Galaxy 3 and 4 smartphones, but not with my HTC One. Battery life is great. Getting sleep data about how often I toss and turn is cool too. The unit is easy to lose so you have to be mindful of how you attach it to yourself.

Love the is device. It sync's with my iPad, my Android phone and there is an online interface as well. For someone like me who is not fond of physical exercise, this is an easy way to ease into the process of ''working out' by walking, keeping track of your progress, and then manage stepping up your game. There is very little involved in setting up the device and you will be pleased with the results. You can also 'team up' with others on line for support, encouragement and motivation. If you would like or need a subtle way of getting into an exercise routine that will motivate your progress, this is it.

After reviewing my options, I finally settled on the Fitbit One, and haven't regretted my decision. I linked it to MyFitnessPal, and the two programs sync seamlessly. The battery is long-lasting, charge it once every 7-10 days. The fitbit is easy to wear and inobtrusive. I find it easy to track my calorie intake/deficit, exercise, and sleep quality. It has been a wonderful resource, which I highly recommend.

I like my FITBIT One, I had a FITBIT Force, but ended up returning it because it was uncomfortable and doesn't breathe on the skin. I got the FITBIT One as it easy to use and pair with the ARIA Scale and the FITBIT Account makes it easier to track our weight, exercise and sleep patterns. The only downside, is that the there isn't a way to wear it other than the belt clip and the night-wrist strap they give you. It would be cool to have a way to wear it as a watch or necklace.
