    Much better than Fitbit Zip

You get what you pay for. The rechargeable batter on the Fitbit One saves you the hassle of continually buying new batteries and lasts approximately 10-14 days between charges. It is small enough that it doe snot get in the way but also not too small like the Zip that it gets lost all the time. I like the stair counter function that the One has, that the Zip does not. I do not really use the sleep sleeve because it keeps sliding on my arm - so a no on this feature. The Fitbit Force made it easier to track sleep since it positioned like a watch. I got the red one to make it more visible too. I will definitely be waiting for the new series of Fitbits and replace my One to cut down the number of devices that are on me at any point in time.

I was introduced to the Fitbit by a younger colleague at work. She competes with friends for distance walked each week. I was motivated by her enthusiasm to try it and have found it to work beautifully. I have shown it to many and everyone is intrigued. When the evening arrives and I look at how many steps/miles I've traveled, I sometimes keep walking around the house to add more distance or walk upstairs to get the count. I know this is working for me at the moment and hope this continues. I also like tracking my sleep. It is easy to set up on your computer or smartphone.

The Fit bit One is very accurate. I walk around randomly at work sometimes and count my steps to check the One's accuracy. It is always within 3 steps per 100. It counts the floors I have climbed and it counts when I am pushing a grocery basket or a stroller. It is easy to use for sleep tracking and the silent alarm feature is nice. I thought I wanted the Flex but after 2 days I exchanged it for the One and I am so much happier with it. Wireless sync with my iPhone and my Mac are very easy. If you want an accurate step count get the One and don't bother with anything else.

This is one of the best things I have bought. I keep track of all the walking I do and compare it to others. It is fun to keep track with others. I have washed it once, but everything seems to keep working. Charge lasts about a week. Top product.

I have been using the Fitbit One for several years. It is a great tracker for covering all of your activities. I recommend it to others, as I have given three others as gifts. I am sad to hear they are doing away with the Fitbit One.

I had the fitbit force and hated it. It was bulky in my wrist and uncomfortable to wear at night. The fitbit one is so much better. Accurate and comfortable. The battery life is longer than the force. It's armband is comfortable to wear at night.

My only complaint is that it is easy to lose/misplace because of the size. But the size is also one of the things I like best about it. Accurate, fun and motivating!

I bought the burgundy color, usually wear it on bra strap, sometimes on my waist. Holds a charge a long time, encourages me to use stairs in order to have stats there. Also sends nice messages from time to time. Keeps me motivated.

My wife and I got two of these to just keep track and be more aware of our movement throughout the day. The Fitbit does a wonderful job of letting us know whether we have hit certain milestones or not. I like that it shows approximate flights of stairs as well. Sometimes it will give me steps when it probably shouldn't like taking the device off, putting it on, changing clothes, etc. But for the most part it is very accurate. I'm taller than my wife so when we walk together the same distance she always has way more steps than me. That isn't really a faulty part of the product but she rubs it in my face which is lame ha. Also, when you pick it up after not having it on it tells you funny phrases. Some try to be motivational and others just seem wacky.

I love my fitbit. I wanted something I didn't have to wear on my wrist and this works perfectly. This has made me much more mindful about how much activity I engage in each day.

My girlfriend uses these. She's lost several. Apparently they are fantastically easy to use and have nice software. This is her third one of these, we are back to them after the fitbit force was recalled. The fitbit force never got lost. I hope they redesign it and bring it back so when she loses this one I can buy just one more.

I had contemplated getting a Fitbit and decided on the Fitbit One primarily because it is more discreet and I didn't want the look of the bracelet style. My husband has that style and I don't like how he has to look at his iPhone app every time he wants to see how his statistics are looking. With the Fitbit One you can see it all right on the device. I love the ability to use the wrist strap to let it serve as a silent alarm clock as well. I have made small changes in my walking routine as a result of owning it and challenge myself to move around more.

I have been using the One for 6 weeks now. This is a great little device, very motivating to help you meet your exercise and weight loss goals. I first tried the Flex, but am not fond of having to wear a bracelet. I found this device to be more accurate than the Flex on both paces and stairs. I use it clipped to my pants' pocket, or if I do not have a pocket (for example, wearing a dress), it clips comfortably to my bra. I track my usage on both my iPhone and the FitBit website. I use the iPhone app to track my food intake as well, which really helps my weight loss program. It will also track your sleep, but I do not like the wrist holder for sleep, I find it very distracting to wear. So I just enter my sleep log by hand on the web site. Overall, I am very happy I purchased this. I have been trying to lose 1/2 lb a week, and am down 3 lbs (right on track).

Purchased the fitbit 1 because several girlfriends had gotten them for Christmas. And I love it. It makes me aware of my activity and makes me work toward a goal. It makes activity fun and you can be competitive against each other. Brenda

I got this Fitbit One after returning the Flex (see my review) So glad I got this now, easy to set up and use, can be worn discreetly hooks onto your pants, bra, etc. Comes with an armband to use at night to track your sleep patterns, and sends you little messages when you reach your goal. This one is a good fit for me!

I hate the idea of wearing anything on my writs. This is perfect for me cause it is small and clips on anything I am wearing. It comes with a velcro wrist band for sleeping - the velcro wares out quickly...but I love the fitbit!!

I got the Fitbit One after a lot of research into which activity tracker would best meet what I wanted. I like how it keeps track of my steps when just walking on pavement, etc, my mileage during the day, steps climbed, calories burned and how my sleep habits are at night. The only thing that I wish was a little better was the Fitbit keeping track of steps and the distance when using a treadmill - the Fitbit doesn't seem to be counting all the steps or the distance correctly. Its great how the Fitbit app also syncs with a couple of other fitness apps.
