easy to use. would recommend to anyone. Its great for setting goals and competing with friends. Also love the stair feature so I know how many flights I do in a day. The sleep feature is great in helping you understand how rested you are/aren't.

The Fitbit One has helped keep me motivated in my commitment to better health and wellness. Its easy to use- gives plenty of stats on your movement for the day - steps, calories burned, flights of stairs climbed, etc. and then its easy to use App helps me keep track of the food I eat, calculates calories, water needed, and helps me stay on track for my desired weight loss. I chose it over all the other options on the market because it can clip easily to my undershirt each day and doesn't have to be on my wrist or waistband. I love it and it is makes moving and fitness fun!

The title really says it all. The only reason I have purchased a third one of these devices is due to the fact that my wife lost here while helping some friends move. The battery typically lasts 1.5-2 weeks. It recharges fairly quickly too. I would estimate 4 hrs maybe???? The sleep tracking function works well. The step counter seems amazingly accurate. The distance is no doubt off some, but it's actually reasonably accurate the few times I've checked it, probably within 10% or so. Not bad for not having any sort of GPS function and only using your height and steps as a guide. Anyway, this is the best tracker I've used, and I've tried several.

Tracking steps helped me realize how little I move around at work. After one week of wearing the fitbit, I am setting daily goals and doubled my steps. The device is small, easy to use and holds a charge.

When I got this I wasn't sure if I would use it or benefit by it but I've had it for several months and have used it every day and every night. It's very easy to use and the PC and iPhone interfaces work well. I've also found that it makes me aware of when I'm being sedentary which encourages me to get up and move around at least a bit. The unit itself is small and sleek and has roughly the volume of a AAA battery (but a much different shape). It fits into either of two housings. the first one is a rubber housing with a clip for use during the day. Once it's slipped into the rubber housing, it can be clipped to a pocket, or simply dropped into a pocket, where it will faithfully record your daily activities. Because I had read that the unit can sometimes pop out of the rubber housing and get lost, I use the clip with the unit facing into my pocket so that it anything were to happen, it would drop into my pocket rather than onto the ground. But--so far--it has never accidentally come out of its daytime housing. The other "housing" is simply a somewhat stretchy wristband with a Velcro fastener to hold it to your wrist. The unit slips into a slit in the band where it hides inside a mesh pocket on the wrist band. The mesh allows you to read the unit's display. The wristband has been less reliable for me that the daytime housing. On a couple of occasions I found that the band had come off during the night. Mind you that was only twice in maybe one-hundred nights. But the wristband does appear to be getting a bit stretched-out and I'm concerned that it might eventually wear to a point where it becomes unreliable. If they could come-up with a wristband that was more like a watchband, it would be a big improvement. Maybe even a band that would accept the daytime clip so the unit could stay in that clip except when it is being charged. Speaking of charging, that's another very strong point for the Fitbit. I made sure it was fully-charged before going on a two-week vacation and it lasted the entire trip. One other nit-pick I have, though, is with the iPhone interface. It does not provide all of the information available when using the computer. I see no reason why all of the data would not be available on the iPhone (or Droid and Windows phones too). All-in-all, I think this is a great little item. It's a bit pricey, but in the long run, I think it's worth it!

This lil guy does exactly what I want. It tracks steps, floors (climed) and even uninterrupted sleep (when I remember to switch it to sleep mode). A full charge will last 6-10 days and it only takes an hour to fully charge. Sometimes the accuracy will waiver...all you need to do is restart the device.

I like my FitBit One. It's nice and small and doesn't take up a lot of room in your pocket. I like the fact I can just toss it in my pocket when I get dressed for the day and forget all about it while it tracks my activities during the day. I do have to say that the stair climbing algorithm they use is a tad buggy. It occasionally doesn't count a flight of stairs now and then. I contacted the company about it and they told me it could be due to changing weather conditions in my area (ie. barometric pressure). I love being able to set recurring alarms. Before I go to bed I put it in the included arm strap so it can track my sleep. The little vibrating alarm is actually a nice gentle way to wake up in the morning as opposed to an alarm clock. The battery holds a charge like crazy. I've only charged it twice since I've owned it (about a month now).

I have 3 smart watches, they all track fitness. I love them for emails, phone calls and texts. However, I prefer this style of fitbit to track steps because it is super handy and accurate. This device is small and can be clipped onto a belt loop or simply put in a pocket. I find that when mowing yards, this device is more accurate than one that is worn on the wrist. Too much bouncing and jarring for a smart watch. I was also not so keen on the fitbit wrist model for that very reason. I have this fitbit with me all the time. Super easy to use and accurate - which is all I really want.

I've had the Fitbit and the Ultra and the Fitbit One is the best of them all. I love that I can now sync with my iPhone which I couldn't do on the other ones I've had. I also compete with friends online so it is cool to see how many steps they are getting in as I always want to try to be at the top of the leader board. This motivates me to keep moving even when I may not feel like it. The device is easy to use and they seem to have fixed the issue of it cracking in the middle since this one fits into a rubberized case. It is harder to slide onto clothes since it has good grip but the problems with prior versions were that they broke in half and also that people lost them. I think the company has done a great job at addressing these issues. I find that it is pretty accurate for steps and floors and I would definitely recommend it.

This is a repeat purchase, as I lost my previous one. I considered getting a different model, but decided to go with another Fitbit One. It wakes me up in the morning, tells me how I slept, counts steps, flights of stairs, estimates the calories I burn and gives me encouragement several times a day. It is very easy to set up and use. It is also unobtrusive (to the point where you will want to develop a good protocol for ensuring it doesn't end up in the wash or setting it somewhere that requires a search and rescue mission). All told, I think the fact that I decided to replace my lost one with another says something about how good this item is.

I love my fitbit! I encourages you to get up and get moving. It also links to My Fitness Pal which is a free online food tracking program. My fitbit charges quickly and holds the charge for about 5 days depending on how often I check my steps. It is linked to my phone so I can see my progress through my phone as well. I can clip my fitbit on or just carry it in my pocket. It is very accurate as well! Love, love, love it!

The Fitbit One is an excellent addition to an exercise routine. Accurately tracks steps walked, stairs climbed, miles travelled, etc. all while being fairly unnoticeable. You can clip it almost anywhere and it holds pretty securely...I've noticed a tendency to slip when it's attached directly to a smoother surface like leather on a shoe or rubber on a sandal, but attach it to cloth like a sock or waistband and it's secure. You can also just put it in your pocket. Holds a charge for quite a while and recharges very quickly. It's easy to invite other fitbit users to a challenge to push one another to work harder. Good / fun investment...

Digital fitness tracker with digital clock that keeps track of # of steps, calories, floors, miles, , hours slept, & calories burned in a day. It resets automatically at midnight each night. Super easy to use and set up. I like that its rechargeable and that my stats show up on the gadget without having to check my phone. One of the motivational tools Fitbit has is that you can compete with other users via "Challenges", also, the One gets me going with the little messages that occasionally appear on the screen.

I absolutely loved my Fitbit One...until I lost it. I used to have a bracelet tracker from another brand name - but I got sick of wearing the bracelet because it didn't always "go with" my outfit. I chose the Fitbit one because you could clip it on to your pants and it was invisible to others. That was until the one day when I thought I had it clipped on to my pants - but it apparently fell off. That is the reason I am giving it only 4 stars. It was great - but you really have to make sure it it attached to you and not just assume. Once you have it on there good it stays - but I think I was just in a hurry and didn't secure it well enough. it was great for tracking my steps. I loved that it synced with My Fitness Pal. It was great fun challenging friends and family as well. I would recommend and I can't wait for my replacement.

I love the FitBit One! It clips out of sight in my clothing (I put mine on my bra) and I can check my progress on my cellphone or computer. It tracks my steps, when I go up and down flights of stairs, calories burned, distance walked, how much water I drank and much more. At night it clips to my pajamas and tells me how I'm sleeping. This was an eye opener. I didn't realize how much time I spent awake or being restless--no wonder I often feel tired! I get a weekly summary of my activity and, if I choose to, I can track calories eaten, my weight, and my active (aerobic) minutes. If you use all the online functions, you can join groups to help motivate you and much more. And every morning when I get up, I get a positive comment from my FitBit One. The price, $99.99, is really good for all the things it does and is inclusive--the phone app and online app are free! But I got an even better deal by being a Best Buy Customer--I was notified when the FitBit One went on sale and got it for $10 off (the price is really very constant no matter where you buy it so the Best Buy deal was a great find!). I would recommend anyone trying to improve their health and fitness get one of these!

By tracking my stats and being accountable, I'm able to get results I want. I may not be losing weight quickly, but I have dropped several pounds and my clothes fit more loosely. When choosing an activity tracker, it is important to know what you want it for and what you want the device to be able to do for you. If you are not willing to track your stats (food intake, exercise/activities - calories in and out) then don't bother getting one. Additionally, the sleep and weight tracker are aspects I like, but this does not have a heart rate monitor. Since my phone does that, I didn't need to buy a more expensive device that does that same thing. Be careful for false feedback - for example, the sleep tracker only picks up when you move, not if you stay still but your brain is still going. For activity, I attend a spin class. The calories burned on the bike monitor are different from this one, so I import my own. What I like about this device versus others is that I can clip it to my pants and hide it during the day, but wear it on my wrist at night. I don't want to wear a thick rubber watchband during the day that is not attractive IMHO. I also don't need to get emails and messages on my fitbit. There are times I like to put the smartphone away and make myself inaccessible to everyone in order to focus on exercising and/or relaxing. I admit that I do like getting alerts about the badges I earn every so often and reading the motivating messages my fitbit scrolls to keep my enthusiasm up. This seems to be fairly energy efficient in that I don't need to recharge very often. I get alerts via email and on the dashboard to let me know when the charge is running low. It doesn't take long to recharge it fully. I do frequently check that it is attached to my pants as it weighs little and I can hardly tell that it is there. Once it fell off in a store, so I always keep my eyes open on the floor just in case. In my spin class, I clip it to the bottom of my shorts so that I am sure to get every wheel rotation movement in the effort to reach my step goal. The dashboard is really nice, and the app on my phone is amazingly easy to work with. I like that I can set my own goals and change them whenever I choose. I never thought I would ever buy one of these tools, but I am pleasantly surprised with how much it has become a part of my life and not a burden with tracking since it is so easy to do. This was so easy to set up right out of the box. I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a wireless activity and sleep tracker. It is funny that I have seen every other model on sale in December and January but not this one. I wonder why that is.
