Excellent and durable little widget. I'm addicted to the statistics it provides and the badges that you can earn. Has helped me to determine exactly how many hours of sleep I need to not feel groggy in the morning (7-8h). My boyfriend accidentally put his in the drier and his still works perfectly. In the month that I have owned my fitbit I have lost 5 lbs and I would reccomed this device to anyone who wants to be more conscious about their activity level.

I loved my first Fitbit one but the clasp broke after a year. I was able to replace it under my warranty and all my data transferred over immediately! Would definitely recommend.

I love, love, love my FitBit. I have at least 8 friends on it and we have a friendly walking competition going on. I have only used the sleep tracking once.. but I have been logging my foot intake and tracking my steps. In 4 weeks, I have lost 7 pounds just by walking more. It really puts my activity level in front of me. Additionally, it is the most accurate pedometer I have ever had. I have even went out and bought the Aria scale!!! I am really loving it. I just wish that there was a way to message my walking friends on it. Supposedly, that's coming soon.

This was a gift for my wife. While not as fancy and visible as some of the other fitbit step tracking products, that may actually be a plus for some users. My wife didn't want a wrist based tracker that may or may not go with the clothing she chose to wear on any given day. The "one" clips onto to your underwear or pants/shorts/skirt waist and does everything it's supposed to. The current version also syncs wirelessly with your smartphone. This is the "one" if you want a tracker that you can hide away from view.

I had a FitBit Flex for about a year but the display got damaged as a result of having it in my pocket with car keys/change etc. Looked around for a replacement and opted this time for the FitBit One. I use it to track my daily activity, log blood pressure, weight and heart rate on dashboard and keep track of sleep. I now have it relaying activity data to my Weight Watchers online account..Great motivational tool..I also like that it sends me well done's as I reach daily goals..

I originally purchased a Fitbit Ultra back in 2012. It gave up the ghost after 2.5 years and I felt lost without the data provided. I love how the unit can be set up via a smart phone (the ultra had to be on a computer) and I was able to set it up when I did not have access to my PC. Of all the pedometers I have tried over the years, the Fitbit has been the most accurate. The one downside is the clip which allows the unit to be attached to clothing if desired - it is a bit tight which makes it a little difficult using it on thick clothing.

I purchased the Jawbone Up & Fitbit One. I returned the fitbit because I didn't feel it was as accurate as the jawbone. It gave me credit when I was driving. However, I miss the feature of it counting steps & being able to see my steps throughout the day without having to plug into my phone. I feel the battery life is awesome! I don't like that you physically have to log your sleep and the jawbone just tracks it. I don't think it is worth the price of $99.00 but it is a cool device. They need to work out a few kinks and sell it for 65.00 bucks. It is also good for discretion & easy to lose.

I purchased this fitness tracker for my mother who has a Samsung SV mini. She really likes the tracker and the app is very easy for her to use on her phone. The only issue is the GPSr tracking doesn't work very well and tends to be very inaccurate due to a lack of filtering noise from the GPS data in the app.

This multifunction device rarely leaves my side. I've been using it for a month now and am really impressed by it. It's small with a very secure clip so I can wear it on my pants or bra strap without even feeling it. Also, the battery lasts a looooooong time. Maybe two weeks? I love the sleep tracker, too. It's been really interesting to see just how little sleep I've been getting and I've already started to make improvements to my sleep schedule. I also like the social aspect of it. I can see how my friends are doing and cheer them on (and vice versa).

While this does track my steps taken most of the time, it misses some if walking barefoot on carpet; also misses "floors" - even accepting that it only counts climbs up. Sleep function is useless - you have to start and stop the timer (fully wake up, reach for controls, etc.) per instructions - did not bother to try it out! Very easy to set up and syncs without any effort - just walk by computer. Display is nice and it gives you funny little messages which are gone so fast that I miss most of them. Rechargeable battery only last about 5 days...not as nice as a regular battery that lasts months before replacement. It does meet my goal of encouraging me to "move" more since I try to get my minimum of steps in each day.

Overall this is a good product. It is easy to use and the automatic update to the computer is nice. The bad is it is easy to lose if you are not careful. I used the rubber clip but I still lost one. Also the sleep function is not particularly useful. As long as you are not moving it assumes you are asleep. So if you are laying in bed reading a book it is shown as sleep time. Certainly not a deal breaker as the rest of the functions are solid.

First - I like the One. I got one for myself, and I enjoyed knowing the number of steps I'd taken, the calories I'd burned (and would burn for the rest of the day from the website) . I had an issue with the battery not charging but my second one hasn't had an issue after a month. When I did the exchange, I did choose to get the protection plan for 15 bucks, figuring it might be better safe than sorry. I bought one for my mother who's 74 and my sister, and now my two aunts got one, too. I really recommend it for those who really don't know how active they are. I mean, how else are you going to know how many calories you can eat if you don't know how many you are calories you've burned? The Fitbit One solves this dilemma.

The Fitbit One is a great activity tracker. I like that I can discreetly wear it without everyone knowing I'm tracking my steps. The only drawback is I have forgotten to carry/clip it. However, I still give it an excellent rating.

I have fun with this the Fit One and it helps keep me focused. It stimulates self competition from day to day.....I choose to walk the additional measure or climb the additional stair to drive up my daily numbers. The Fit One also tracks your food intake.....and this also makes you very conscious about what your eating. Not quite drawbacks....but: the price is average (a good quality pedometer will run you $30.00 at Sports Authority....and this does much much more). And what is a problem is how it connects to pockets-----it needs a better securing mechanism (I've lost one already).
