Best Buy clerk was most helpful and I left the store happy. Device was easy to use and I quickly got started. It is motivating and encourages me to "do more." Sleep tracking is a bonus ! The wide wrist band is light weight and I can forget it is even on.

Had to return the first Fitbit One, the alarm vibration didn't work. Second one works great, been using it everyday.

Overall this is a great device for keeping track of how active (or inactive) you are on a daily basis. The hardest part is remembering to put it on each day. It is relatively easy to install. Windows 8 app looks great, iOS app is ok - easy to use. Only problem so far is the device will not sync to the cloud when at the office since they do not support proxy servers. So far the developers have not indicated any willingness to fix this.

I've had a FitBit One since 2/13. Actually, I've had six of them, thanks to water, forgetfulness and other traumas. They're accurate, intuitive, feed data to thoughtful software for encouragements and bio-feedback, and may even be bullet-proof, I just have found other ways to kill them. Buy one!

Pluses.....keeps you wanting to do better and meeting your workout goals. Minuses....if you forget it you feel like you are just wasting steps. Kinda puts a damper on your day. I know they a Have jewelry for some and would be great to have something to fancy it up when you want to wear it going out somewhere fancy.

I purchased this product for my wife. It has been a great reminder for both of us to be more active. I was a little hesitant to spend the money on it, but it has been very motivating. You always have an idea of how much you walk in a given day, but the Fitbit keeps you on track. It syncs well to her iphone and she loves it.

Love the fit it. Salesman was so helpful setting it up on my smart phone.
