24/7 heart rate monitoring and step counting in one nice package. Sleep monitoring is a nice touch as well. GPS tracking works well but is very hard on the battery.

The motion sensing is amazingly accurate. The alarms work great. Syncing with my iPhone is perfect. The GPS is very good also. The heart rate detection is only so-so. That is the only disappointment I have.

This fitness watch is very easy to use and appears to be very accurate. The battery life is great. 5 days with the a daily GPS run. Only wish it was waterproof. I have showered with it and zero issues.

A birthday gift for my dad and he really likes it! It has encouraged him to walk each morning and he loves hitting 10K before starting the work day! My only critique is that it is big and unattractive.

All in all, Best Buy's price was better than everyone else's. However, the FitBit itself turned out to be too big for my wife's tiny wrists. Also didn't have the features other health bracelets have and ended up returning it for the Samsung sport bracelet.

I have been happy with the Surge and its features are easy to setup and use. Only issue is its size makes it very hard to get your wrist through the sleeve of a jacket when putting on or taking off.

My daughter and I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband after he had every-so-subtly mentioned wanting one. Since Christmas, he was worn it at all times except showering and washing dishes. He loves it! He loves the ability to track his heart rate and calorie burn during workouts and steps during work. He also likes having the option to change the clock display and the alerts he received when he meets goals and wins challenges.

This is my fourth FitBit product, and I couldn't be more satisfied. Love the fact that this has GPS to track my runs and biking activity. I prefer the integration of FitBit app over UP. I like being able to see everything in one place, and also keep an eye on weight gain/loss with the ARIA scale. This tracker is designed for performance over looks. There may be some better looking products, but they can't compare to the functionality.

I bought this to use the heart rate monitor features while I went through Cardiac rehab. This works pretty well, although it can give an off reading when wrist gets sweaty and under rapid arm movements. Tightening the band fixes this. Attractive as a watch.

I've used the watch to track my steps stairs and cross fit training. The sleep log has been helpful too

Product is very accurate and easy to use. The wrist band is comfortable and display is easy to read.

This device works great for my tracking of my training. It compliments my iPhone apps and integrates to show a complete view of my activity. It took a bit to adapt to the logic of the controls but fairly simple. Only 1 time did I have to reboot with a glitch.

The FitBit Surge is a great fitness tracker, but be warned it is not a smart watch. You can get text messages and caller ID notifications and this works well with compatible phones. (Check FitBit's website for a list) The HR monitor sometimes loses connection with the skin and doesn't give a 100% accurate reading. All day fitness tracking is fantastic! I use it at the gym for my elliptical and weight workouts. Buy it you'll like it!

Bought this for my wife and she loves it. She likes to half marathons and enjoys spending time lifting weights. The only downfalls to the watch is that it's a little bulky to wear all day. If you don't mind not tracking your mileage get the charge hr.

I have enjoyed my Fitbit Surge. The GPS works really well and the heartrate monitor and other features have been good as well. My only complaint is that I am on the phone now, 4 months after purchase, having to return my Surge because the band got a bubble in it and needs replacing. HOWEVER...they are sending me one as we speak to replace the Surge that is damaged. AND they are not requiring me to return the one I have, so I can continue to wear it and enjoy the features until I get the new one in the mail. It was a very easy, simple process.

Great for tracking steps, calories, and heart rate (w/o chest strap). Only small issue is that the GPS lost connectivity during a couple of runs through wooded area and did not correct route after re-establishing connection. Still a great device. ..

I purchased this for Christmas for my husband and so far he has loved it. The reviews we read really helped us choose, and ensured we got what we wanted/needed. My only issue is 2 weeks after we bought it, they are preselling the newest Fitbit.

I like this gadget. I think it's a little off counting my steps- I usually have over a hundred steps before I even get out of bed- but it helps me get to my step goal. Heart rate monitor is excellent, and I like how it vibrates when a text comes in.

I looked at many watches before choosing the Fitbit surge, being an apple user I wanted the Apple Watch but Fitbit had more to offer me for my needs such as a gps and battery life going for 7 day was a perfect choice. I also need reading glasses to see close up and with the Fitbit I don't need to put on glasses to see the screen because of the way the picture is formatted. It's a great watch and has many functions.
