    Great fitness device

This fitness monitor is excellent. I performed several tests to verify the accuracy of the step measured, and it consistently varied less than 2% in measurement from actual steps taken. It integrates very well with the Fitbit fitness app, and tracks heart rate and sleep patterns well.

I wanted something that would give me a realtime accurate heart rate and after trying four other brands I've determined this one is the most accurate.

My husband loves his Fitbit surge. I have an Apple Watch, but my husband prefers the Fitbit surge for more accurate heart rate and for interval times during running. Can easily log many different activities on the surge! Even works in the pool swimming. I would recommend the 2 year warranty, though, bc the band broke after a year, and the replacement froze with a red light, after a year. Totally worth the $50 warranty 2 year warranty!

Fitbit Blaze Is A Better Product

I would have rated this product five stars until I purchased the Blaze for my wife. The biggest benefit of the Surge is the built in GPS, but it drains the battery quickly. Also my Surge was replaced, under warranty by Fitbit, because the band started coming apart. The bands aren't replaceable. Fitbit backs their products well and has excellent customer service.

The watch is great and especially like the text review feature. It's a little bulky and can cause discomfort is worn to long. Overall, very good.

I love the thing. no more chest straps. I'm not a runner or a cyclist but it does have gps for when I decide to go on a ride. I did a ton of research and it was the best versatility I could find. and you get your texts on your wrist which is kinda nice and kinda distracting. but its nice in the sense if its important I can text back if not ignore.

At first it is weird to get used to, as the watch is meant to be worn higher up on the arm than a traditional watch. But it's quite comfortable after a few days and the features are fantastic.

I am having so much fun with my fitbit surge. I love the challenges, and tracking my exercise. The feature of reading messages and notifications on my fitbit has saved me a number of times in meetings. People thought I was looking at my watch, when actually i'm reading txts.

Tracker does basic functions well, including GPS, calories burned, etc. My one concern about the Fitbit is the Hart Rate Monitor, not accurate and the numbers jump up and down without cause.

The watch is a little bulky since the face is set to not move freely from the band. Love the GPS aspect. However limited amount of "excercise" that can be tracked, Zumba is not one of them.

Over all a great product, does everything it promises, so the only complaint my husband reports is that it is a bit bulky and catches on stuff. Awaiting the release of the Blaze next.

I have been nothing but satisfied with my Surge. I ran my first 10k and used it to calculate my pace time and my mile times and it was spot on. I couldn't have made a better purchase! Recommend to everyone, and it's great when you have friends that have one too because the challenges are super fun (especially if your competitive)
