Almost NO helpful info at the website; must figure out a lot on your own. Difficult to sync with my iPhone, esp as I travel across time zones. No warning received prior to needing battery recharge...Fitbit just stops working.

Fitbit Products are very good to start. But The Surge really puts in the extra work thats needed if you are looking for a devices thats worry free and very easy to use. Great battery life and easy to read display. No where close to a deal breaker but color display would be great.

No rash, only redness and irritation if worn too tight. Also almost overlooked the warning of not to shower with it.

I bought the large size (large display) for my husband and now I wish I had bought it for myself. The watch looks nice and not too bulky on his wrist. The Surge is so much better than my Garmin hands down. It was easy to set up and operate. One the many features - it sends you an email when the battery is low and needs charging. I think it is more accurate at counting your steps compared to the Garmin. The biggest benefit about this watch is that it has motivated him to move more.

I bought this for my son who is a freshman in college. Up to this point he would never wear a wristwatch, but he is having a great time with all the bells and whistles. It is much sleeker than the other GPS watches with the added feature of music. My husband even wants one now!

Bought this as a gift for my bf. He loves it for reading heart rate during work outs and for tracking steps. The only thing it's missing is a waterproof ability .

The features were nice, but the band was annoying and uncomfortable. I ended up returning it and might try a Garmin. It may fit better for others, but it bothered my wrist bone. Again, the features were still nice on it.

I bought the Surge as a Christmas gift for myself and love it. I have a coworker who lost a 30 lbs, when how she it and she showed me her fitbit and the app. Using the infomation from this fitbit, I've lost 10 lbs in the last month. I really like how the Surge looks, like Man's watch. The watch face has 4 different looks. It also provides more detailed workout information then the HR. The app is great, I challenge myself to see how many goals I can reach each day.

I like the simplicity of the operation but the heart rate monitor is suspect. It does not come close to the accuracy of a chest strap HR device. I use it to keep track of overall activity and it does that well. When using the GPS feature it seems to drain the battery rapidly. If you don't use GPS a charge should last 3-4 days. It does NOT auto detect activities like advertised. I have ridden my bike 5000 miles this year and never once did it pick up on this activity. However, when I cut my grass it DOES register this as a bike ride even though the GPS shows I never left my average size yard!
