Bought it as a gift. User already had a Fitbit-HR but likes the Surge better. More features.

Would not recommend to a friend. For the money spent, the next one has to be much improved. Nice feature that the sleep is logged automatically

I had two of these, the company replaced one, but both did the same thing. Just under the face plate the rubber came out, and was then about quarter of an inch above. Not a pretty sight. Other than that work just fine.

Five stars!!! Would recommend to friends! Works great. Heart rate monitor is an added bonus.

I bought this as a gift for my husband's birthday. He has been ecstatic from the moment he opened the box. The packaging is lovely and the product itself exceeded our expectations. Battery life and functionality are exactly as described. He used it on hiking and bike riding trips in addition to daily wear. The only issue we've had since the purchase is an occasional slow scroll on the display. My husband is still annoyed by that part, which is the reason for the 4-star rating. However, he wasn't annoyed enough to want to exchange it.

The Surge is a great tool for monitoring heart rate and exercies. I love Fitbit software, too.

I returned this item because it was a bit bulky and did not have the features I was looking for but it overall still is a good product.

Great keeping amount of steps and stairs but not monitoring heart rate while working out. Also, needs a warning or bar graph indicating battery charge level or have warning when low.

if you are considering a fitbit watch, two things matter are battery life and outlook. They are both perfect for surge. It is also very comfortable. I definitely would recommend it.

The units themselves are ok, but make sure you are really going to commit using ALL the technology in the unit. Otherwise, it's a very expensive pedometer. I already know that I drink a lot of water, and about how many calories I consume, so, some of the features are neat, but not used. Durability to this point seems ok. Been about a month. The charge cord seems to have a loose connection to the Jack on the back of the watch, so I have to make sure there's a good connection, or the watch won't charge. Battery life seems good.

The Fitbit Surge is simply great. It's very intuitive to handle and great to understand how active or lazy you are. Battery life is okay. Not sure yet how robust the watch will be in the long run. Fitbit Flex was not great in this respect.

My sister got this and it's so easy to use and does everything she wanted in a Fitbit.

Didn't own this too long. It's great, accurate, and probably the fitness band of choice..but I was looking for something with a greater app capacity to do things beyond fitness.

great item for activity and for tracking your running or other workouts individually

I love my Surge! It really helps when I'm running and can view what my pace is so i can stay more consistent. Only draw back is it is a little bulky especially when trying to sleep and wearing it to track my sleep pattern as well.
