Had very high hopes for this watch

I initially planned on getting a smaller and cheaper Fitbit but after looking at all the features I went with the Surge (the priciest one). Not even a year later I have had to super glue the band around the screen back down and on the inside the band has broken away from the plastic. I have heard of other Fitbits doing this but thought surely after paying $250 this one would be made better. So disappointing.

Love this Fitbit!

I traded the VivoActive in for the Surge because it was better suited for my needs. The Fitbit Surge better tracks my steps and other activities. It's easier to manage and the silent alarms are a godsend!

My only complaint is that you can only program in certain exercises and no others.

If your looking for something comparable to the Apple Watch, Gear or Pebble, spend the extra cash for more features. This one is rather basic for the price.

She has to input her distance manually through her app.

You might have to swipe it several times before it changes

Too bulky, not water proof
