I made a great purchased with my Fitbit surge! I am keeping track of my steps on my way to a healthier 2016. I have several friends that are using different Fitbit products and everyone agrees to how great they are!!

Great for what is it. Best fitness watch out there, but is lackluster compared to the glam of other models.

I bought this for my girlfriend. She loves it. It does everything that is listed. She wanted one after she saw her friends. She has had it for about a month and has lost 19 lbs. She has been walking up a storm and eating better, and this has kept her going with a constant reminder.

Most important use for me is running - I keep my IPhone in a pouch that hooks on my shorts. I get texts & calls during an hour run. With the Fitbit i can read my text with out taking out my phone with sweaty hands. Also, I can see who's calling & decide if it's worth answering.

Got this for my sweetie for Christmas and he loves it. He's excited to see how many steps he takes in a regular work day and is ready to do more.

I have had or been around several Fitbits and to date, I like this one the best. Really like the silent alarm, works great. Plus, it tells time.

I brought this one to replace my fitbit flex as an upgrade. I really enjoy seeing the realtime numbers!!

The Surge is very comfortable, and the silent alarm works great! I'm typically a heavier sleeper and sleep like a baby through thunderstorms, lawn mower noise, etc. The vibration is very noticeable and may wake up light sleepers besides you that aren't equipped with the Surge.

unable to use for all day monitoring do to rash from wrist band. will work for jogging and hikes with gps.

overall is as expected. But has caused a red mark on my wrist and it could be a little more water resistant.

I've been using the Motoactv for many years, they don't make them anymore but to me it's still the best fitness tracker. I do like the Fitbit, the GPS works well and it tracks a number of things including steps per day and other exercises. This is my first sleep tracker, I don't think it really works. The Surge is really nice, I just wish it played music.

Fitbit in general is a must have addition to anyone who is serious about their health. The Surge though, having a screen with menus for easy access to features Is just cake. Reading my texts isn't bad either.

This was a great fitness watch gift. She enjoys keeping track of her steps, sleep and work out activities. It's a great gadget to motivate someone to exercise.

I recently bought the Fitbit Surge because I wanted to not have to use a strap when exercising to monitor my heart rate and count calories. The Surge is great in that it eliminates that but it also has some flaws. I teach a cycling class and use it for the above purposes. First of all if it isn't properly placed on your wrist it will not register your heartbeat at all and I have noticed that even if it is properly placed at first that doesn't guarantee that it will always work. On more than one occasion it will be working fine when the class starts only to notice that it will stop registering the heart rate in the middle of class. At that point I will either have to manipulate it on my wrist or tighten the strap to get it to work. This can be quite a hassle and for the price that you pay it is a quite frustrating. When it works it is a wonderful tool but it is way overpriced considering its shortcomings. In light of its exorbitant price I do not recommend purchasing this item. It needs improvement.

A nice addition to any fitness program. Keeps a good record of physical activity and rest periods.

Really works well for tracking all that you do. Only thing I don't like is the size of the watch. Hard to get my long sleeves shirts over it.

The product is pretty good overall. The only problem I have with it is that the charging cable doesn't stay in the charging port very easily.

I purchased this fitbit for my daughter's birthday. Great way to get out and monitor your activities, food intake & sleep. She loves her fitbit

Will tell friends to carefully, that the band have issue and you can lose your fit bit

Was very eager to have the features provided by the Surge. However, I was very disappointed at how bulky it was and returned it. I could not button my shirtsleeves and would not have been able to use all day. Great return policy though. Settled on Fitbit Charge HR and am very satisfied.
