I use this FitBit primarily as a mileage tracker and it works well. I like and use the alarms to remind me of things to do. Watch is always visible. :)

Some people said that it was too bulky and GPS didn't work consistently. I have had no functionality issues whatsoever. Very happy I selected this one.

I love that you can control your music, see who's calling read text messages all without having to pull out the phone. It auto recognizes my activities. And has GPS. I did have to get watch replaced cause band broke but my Best Buy warranty replaced it with no problems. So this is my replacement surge. Definitely get the geek squad warranty, you won't regret it.

Does what it needs too, a little bulky for paying sports like basketball, and the band did tear on me once when I used it to go to sleep, but called and received a replacement. overall its a good product.

I liked this device but was talked into trading up to Apple Watch. This device was great for those more serious with tracking exercise and wanting GPS tracking. Also great if you enjoy the Fitbit ecosystem.

Had this for a month the battery died and it will not recharge. It worked good in the beginning and setup was easy. I am bringing it back and going to try again.

Had a Fitbit Charge HR but wanted to have GPS capability for cycling. Works like a charm and allows me to keep my phone in my pocket to preserve battery. Sale price helped me with the decision to upgrade.

This is my 3rd Fitbit. I had the charge and the charge HR. Each gave me problems with the band breaking. The Surge band also broke but I was able to replace the band and have had no other issues.

I would say overall this fitness tracker has lots of software issues. I think that I have gone through 3 of them. That's why I am very glad for the 2 year protection plan. I stick with it because it has a fairly accurate actual pace counter.
