Not all what I expected. Very disappointed. Battery

I love this watch & I highly recommend it. It has so many features. I was very surprised how long the battery lasts seeing how it has a gps.

Functionality, great. Heart rate accuracy is spotty but I get the limitations of a wrist based system. However, the Surge watchband separated from watch within 7 months of prescribed moderate active use (biking, trail running, P90X). The band is glued into the watchface, which appears to be a colossal design failure. Fitbit replaced the watch, then the replacement watch separated again from the watchband after 9 months. Fitbit support refused to stand behind the replacement watch because it had been more than a year since I had originally bought the first watch. Keep in mind that you are considering spending $250 on a watch, and it's unlikely that it will stay in tact for more than a year. Two other Surge owners that I know (including my wife) have had the exact same issue. My wife is on her third Surge in one year. Proceed with caution.

I've had it a little over a month and so far the readings have been fairly accurate. It even picks up when I'm walking on a treadmill.

Great way to track overall fitness. Works well for walking and cardio exercise. I like the accuracy of the heart rate monitor.

Fitbit surge fitness watch is awesome. Great way to start the new year by tracking your sleep and how many steps you walk each day.

the activity tracker is pretty accurate. I am still confused by the way it tracks the quality of sleep, maybe based on my heart beats.

Great watch for tracking fitness. Allows for different cardiovascular options. Ability to see heart rate while working out is a plus.

Great smart watch lots of features but..... The durability of the band isn’t what it should be. This is my second one in less than a year and will be taking this one back! I would recommend the geek squad protection for it for sure!

I personally think the Surge is a great product, however, you should be mindful of the battery life. If you choose to use certain functions, it will drain the battery more. Can't understand why this won't last up to 7 days as advertised.

I love my Fitbit surge. Since I have purchased it few weeks ago, I have been more active.

Love that this has GPS, can recognize exercises, can see who is calling and read text messages, and can control my music with it.

My daily watch. Good for keeping track of steps and distance walked. For the money spent it could’ve been color.

It would not take a charge, had it charging for over 12 hours and it never worked. You would think for something that is so expensive it would work.

The Fitbit Surge surpasses previous wearable devices I have used by putting all my daily stats right at my fingertips (with more detail in the app of course). Caller ID and text message notifications keep me subtly connected while I'm at work. This device pushes me so much, I've already lost 7 pounds in the month that I've been using it. Connecting with and challenging friends has also been a great boost

So i bought this item for my daughters father and he loves it I own the apple watch but he says this watch is more accurate

The Fitbit Surge is a very easy to operate, easy to set up, stylish, and reliable fitness watch. I highly recommend this product.

I use this watch for walking, running and tracking sleep, it's awesome, it talks back and forth with my phone. I love it

We will see how tough it really is after one day of work. I am a welder I am worried about the screen I hope it holds up.
