I highly recommend, the app helps me to track my calories and activity. The charge is super fast. If you are planing to lose some weight, it is worth it.

I thought this tracker was going to really help. All it did was give me a bad rash on the sides of my wrists! I wish I would have done some better investigating about it as it appears many others have had the same reaction. My only hope now is to fight with fitbit and get a refund on it.

Tracks somethings really well but other things sometimes .

Decided on the Surge after finally moving on from a Microsoft Band and although I do miss a couple things the Surge does seem to be built much better.

Good for a person that goes exercising on a daily basis!

Gift for my dad. I do wish we could make changes from the screen but the app works well also and easy to use when it syncs. May take a while to sync

Sometimes does not give correct start & finish worth GPS

I have been using this for about 4 days now and it really is a good fitness band/watch but I think Fitbit could have made it better. I did not think I wanted anything else in the fitness band other than what the Fitbit Surge offers but after using it for a few days; I honestly have to say it seems to be too basic for the cost. I think it should have at least the capability for further development like 3rd party apps and integrate a little more into my phone. Fitbit sell the Surge as a “Super Watch” but not a “Smart Watch”, which is what I think I am looking for but that’s not something I can blame Fitbit for. Overall, yes I do like the Fitbit Surge as a fitness band but I may return mine until something else comes out that works as well as the Surge and has more Smart Watch functions. I think if Fitbit would at least acknowledge that they are developing it further and will add more apps I would be happier. Pros • Heart rate monitor works great. • No issues with swiping through screens. • Step counter and floor counter work well. • Battery life is good. 4 days so far and still have about half a charge. Cons • My wrist gets a little sore after wearing it for a while higher to get better heart rate tracking. • The music control function is hit or miss so I can't use it at all. • The call and text notifications are delayed so that causes an issue especially with call notification. By the time Fitbit gets the notification, the incoming call is already 3/4 of the way through it's time to ring before it goes to voice mail so I wind up missing the call by the time I grab my phone.

This has been perfect for me on the job and in the gym!
