I received the Fitbit Surge for my birthday. My wife has the Blaze. I like knowing how many steps I've taken. We also challenge each other.

I bought the fitbit surge (my second one) and I have had it a month and I have to charge it every single night. I took it back to the store and was told I could not exchange it and that I had to go to fitbit. I called fitbit and they gave me the run around and said that I had to go online to surge my steps. I DO NOT WANT TO GO ONLINE to report my steps...I write everything down in a journal. All I want is to track my steps MYSELF!!! Now I am STUCK with a $250 fitbit that does not perform as promised. I guess you know how I feel....THIS PRETTY MUCH SUCKS. vickie l embrey.....

The Surge has worked better than expected. Motivates me to achieve goals. The watch and extra features are great. The look goes with everything.

Great for beginners or advanced fitness watch users

Heart rate is incorrect, steps taken incorrect. Half the time it isn't synced to the phone. It was a lot of money and not worth it.

Unlike Blaze I had before with everything on one screen, you have to swipe individual screen for steps, HR, miles, calories etc. The thickness of the Surge is way too thick compares to Blaze and the Surge's screen is in black & white, not color.
