A bit bulky and sometimes does not fit well underneath long sleeve shirts. Took some time getting used to the size and after a few months I still always now I'm wearing it. I purchased specificly for the automatic GPS function and to track elevation as I hike and run a lot and didn't want to carry my cell with me just to use the GPS to track my route. The GPS works well but the Elevation does not function as I had hoped. It does not show the elevation in live time when using the hike exercise function, it only shows total elevation feet after you end the exercise mode. It also does not show elevation on the exercise after you sink it to the fit bit app. If I were allowed a do-over when I was upgrading from my Fit Bit Charge HR I would likely choose the Surge for its less bulky design and continue to just carry my phone for GPS tracking my routes.

The FitBit surge is an immaculate product. I have been using this on an every day basis since my purchase, and no problems have occurred thus far. Easy pairing to a device using Bluetooth and long battery life! Very durable!

I'm using this product to record my overall exercise activity and also to monitor my sleep patterns. The product works well for both.

Glad for the watch-style band. More secure and lest chances of losing it. Screen is a little big, visibility is great.

functional and attractive. It took a bit of effort to figure out the interface between the device and my phone or tablet, but now that I know what to do, it's fine.

The instant feedback keeps me going. I need motivation. I use the timer constantly when walking. I check my pulse frequently. I like the daily reports that you get when you sync your Surge with you computer. I especially like the sleep report. I would love to know my sleeping pulse rates - average and low. If i could look I would not be asleep. Maybe this will be available in the future. I really enjoy the progress badges. They come as a surprise - they are fun and imaginative.

As someone who worksout, I love this watch. Only thing I see is it states 200 less calories are burned than the polar with a chest strap. That is not why I have it. I love the silent alarm feature as well

The capabilities of the Fitbit Surge allow for tracking of runs at gym on treadmill or track and through GPS tracking in my neighborhood. Comfortable wristband and useful bluetooth capabilities for seeing incoming calls and text messages. Will continue to use as long as it works

This product worked great until I accidentally got it wet.

I love this watch. It does all I need it to do and also keeps me motivated to stay moving.

Great all around fitness watch. Only a few times has HR been wrong

I previously used an Apple Watch, which I loved - but when leaving the iPhone platform I couldn't use that anymore, so I got a Fitbit to fill the role. I mostly only used my Apple Watch for looking at the time, outside temperature, and to record my activity. Except for the weather outside, this Fitbit does so much more on fitness tracking, and the battery life is way better than the Apple Watch; lasting up to a few days depending on my activity.

Holds up really well, Very useful and connects to the phone rather painlessly. I did my research before buying this item. My girlfriend loves it and keeps up and tracks her workouts very well.

Too big for my wrist. Returned for a Fitbit HR which I had before
