Customers appreciate the Versa 2's ease of use, long battery life, and accurate sleep tracking capabilities. Many also highlight the positive aspects of its step tracking, various features, and reasonable price. While some users mention issues with the band's quality and occasional connectivity problems, the positive feedback on core functionalities outweighs these concerns. Fits my needs - so far so good
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this watch 6 days ago and wear it ever since, day and night. It was very easy to set up. You need to install the FitBit app on your phone to get all the benefits, no need to sign up for the additional "FitBit Premium", which is free for the first 3 months. You need to run the FitBit up at all times to get the full benefits, i.e. Alexa will not work if you close the app on your phone. But if you close the app the watch will still sync once you open the app again, and that's what I am doing, otherwise your phone battery will go down pretty quick, I have an iPhone 7Plus. The watch keep pretty accurate track of steps, exercise, heartbeat and sleep. I find the sleep tracking very interesting, especially since I apparently sleep better than I thought. I tried to switch from the woven band to the rubber/silicone band, which is a huge hassle. The silicone band seems to be a tiny bit wider than the woven, and it took a while to squeeze that band in. The silicone band feels much more comfortable on my wrist, as it is very soft. The watch notifies me (vibrates and shows on display) when I receive txt or emails on my phone as it should, it also vibrates and shows when I receive a call, I can answer that call on the watch, but I have to have the phone nearby to talk to the other person. I use the alarm every morning, it vibrates and wakes me as it should, but there is no additional sound, just the vibrating. Alexa works, but shows occasional flaws by not answering, not understanding or losing connection. I like that I can change the display, either download free (or not) additional clock faces. All over I am satisfied with this watch, but I am still considering an Apple watch, I am just hesitating because I don't know if I will really use all the additional features.

Great smart watch
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using this watch since January 2020. My first smart watch and it was a little intimidating at first, but it's fairly easy to use. You can control music from this and connect BT headsets/ear buds, has spotify built in voice assistant. I don't use the music function but you can store music (up to 300 songs). Keeps track of my sleep, steps, water intake, calories, time spent exercising, heart rate. It's a useful tool to help you become more active and shed the pounds or maintain a healthy lifestyle. I had to get a different wrist strap the included one while being silicone did make my wrist itch, there are lots of wrist bands our there for this watch and in all manner of styles to suit your specific tastes. You can download different watch faces as well some are free and some will cost you, I recommend getting a screen protector if you wear this to work or are very active so you can avoid scratching the screen. You will need the Fitbit app on your phone (iPhone or Android) to log things like water, sleep, calories and other things. The included charger also does not sit flat but it does charge the watch quickly 10% to full charge is a little less than an hour, which is about as fast as modern cell phone chargers. Get it if you want an extra tool in your quest to lead a healthier lifestyle, you can't go wrong with this watch.

a lot of watch for the money
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am so happy with this smart watch. I have been wanting a smart watch but haven’t wanted to spend the money. This watch is amazing. Setting the watch up was simple. Once you download the app to your phone it walks you thru everything The battery life is loooooonnnnngggggggg. I have worn this watch for over a week already and still do not need to recharge it This watch does show how many steps I’ve taken, and it also shows miles walked for day and calories burned. It also rolls up your week. For details longer than a week out, just go to the app on your phone and you can see the history It is set to take my heart rate continuously. I’m given a notification when i hit my goal of steps and miles. I can set the watch by type of activity I’m doing (run, bike, hike, elliptical and so on). The watch is able to control the music volume on my phone. I have set the watch to give notifications when i have an incoming call. I can read all my text messages on the watch. I can read my WhatsApp messages on the watch as well as any Facebook notification I am able to set up email notifications but i have not done so due to the enormous amount of emails i get (work) and my wrist would be vibrating all day long. The watch does show me how i slept (YIKES...now i fully understand why I’m so tired all the time). It tells you how long you were in a deep sleep versus light sleep versus awake. I am able to control the brightness of the screen and the watch does give you options of several different watch faces. I highly recommend this watch

Very good smart tracker especially for the price.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Versa 2 has a great screen, and the "always on" option is a big add. Battery life is a solid couple days, but not much more consistently. Smartwatch features are pretty basic, but activity and fitness tracking is solid. Reminder, this uses your phone for GPS, it is not built in. Sleep tracking is good, but the addition of the SPO2 feature is only marginally helpful as it does not provide much detail in the sleep app and as far as I can tell you cannot do a manual SPO2 measurement, which would be a nice feature. App store is not huge but watch face selection is actually pretty plentiful. Personally the addition of Alexa is not a huge benefit, as Alexa can only listen, she "replies" on-screen only. The Fitbit software app is what I would call Very Good, meaning better than the bare bones Google Fit app but not as rich as Garmin. Overall I would recommend this for someone who wants a little bit of everything, but is not going to try and do sophisticated Smart Watch or detailed Fitness Tracking tasks. A strong value for the price.

Fitbit Versa 2 Smartwatch - Great Smartwatch
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Battery life states 5 days. I only have to charge it once a week. Keeps track of your sleep patterns (when you're in a deep sleep, light sleep, REM, or awake during sleep time). I find that it's pretty accurate here. Also constantly keeps track of your heart rate and steps walked. You can upload your own pictures to the watch so you can see what you want on the screen under the clock face. You just have to download one of the clock Apps in the store for that. Best of all that one is free!! I found an app that shows me battery, heart rate, steps on the top left, and weather on the bottom, with the time on the top right so you can see the various pictures I've uploaded underneath. It had everything I wanted. You can set alarms, timers, see texts, who's calling on your phone, talk to Alexa and read her responses. And so much more.

Nice upgrade from the Versa
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this watch. I also have the Versa and the Versa 2 adds a couple of features I thought were missing in the original. Alexa is useful. If you aren't using Amazon Alexa, not sure why you're buying this watch in the first place. The voice responses are a huge part of the upgrade. A feature not originally pointed out in the reviews and lists (even on Fitbit's website) allows a voice-to-text response to text messages. It works on Facebook messages, as well. Super useful. You're not locked into the canned, preset responses. This is a feature only on the Android side. Sorry Apple users. This isn't a shortcoming on Fitbit's side. This is control issue with Apple. They deny access to their infrastructure to most products. The battery life is respectable. Even with a fair amount of vibrating for messages and alerts, playing with the settings almost constantly (like a 4 year-old), and using the always-on option on the display, you should get 4-5 days on a charge. Another big plus for me. I have little desire to charge every day like an Apple or Samsung watch. This is a little better on battery than the Versa, which wasn't too bad at all. The fitness tracker - as always - is great. It's a Fitbit device, after all. Still assessing the sleep tracking but so far, it seems accurate and is tossing out some helpful info. This was an added bonus for me - the vibration. I use my smartwatch as my daily alarm clock. I can sleep through a freight train rolling past me but a buzzing on my wrist works every time. I started with a Pebble smartwatch years ago and got spoiled on the strong vibration it had. Never failed to wake me up in the morning and I never missed a vibration on a message or other alert. Since Pebble went out of business (and was bought by Fitbit later), I've not been able to find a watch that had a strong vibration. The original Versa was close. The Versa 2 has an adjustable vibration - weak or strong. This is as strong of a vibration as the original Pebbles had. So glad I upgraded from the Versa. Great watch. I highly recommend it.

Good fitness tracker
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This fitness tracker works very well. I would recommend for people who like all their data centrally located on on app. With alternative smartwatches, you have to have 2 or 3 different apps to track different metrics. However, FitBit has one where you can find everything. It tracks steps, heart rate, sleep and more excellently. I would highly recommend based on its capabilities and price.

Fantastic fitness tracker.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had various Fitbit products over the years, and have really liked them, and Fitbit customer service has been great to me. This is an upgrade from my Charge 2. The other watch I considered was the Apple 4 (or now 5), but it's twice the price at $399. The Apple had a EKG (really ECG) that I liked, but was not sure it would be too helpful for me. And the Fitbit has sleep tracking a feature that the Apple Watch does not come with. And the battery life on the Fitbit Versa 2 is a lot better with 4-5 days vs. Apple's less than one day (18 hours). The screen is beautiful, a HUGE upgrade. Lots of clock choices. There is an always on screen, but I chose to keep it off for now, it uses more power, and it's a very basic black and white, simple screen. And not sure I always want the screen on, there are times like in a theater or in a dark room where it would be distracting. A big plus is you can turn auto screen off at night, so it does not come one when you move in your sleep. A very useful feature, that should save some battery life too. I needed to call customer service as I was having problems getting it added on my Fitbit app. Since the watch is brand new (released September 15), it needs the latest Fitbit app for it to work. After that was fixed, there was a bluetooth issue, but after turning it off and on, we were in business. A wonderful upgrade for me.

Better than expected
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I moved from the Fitbit Charge 3 the other day to the Fitbit Versa 2. I had many issues with the Charge 3. One of them is my age. I could not read the screen at all. After researching, it came down to Garmin or Fitbit for me. I finally chose the Versa 2. So far I really enjoy it. It is soooooo much nicer than the Charge 3. I find the steps to be more accurate. Sleep monitor seems much better as well. The screen is very smooth. It reminds me of my cell phone. I love that. I love the alarm feature. It is on the watch, so you don't have to go into the app to set an alarm. Super easy to use and very convenient. Pairing and setting up only took me a minute, as I already had a Fitbit account and the app. The watch band is very comfy and the watch sits on my wrist much nicer than my old Charge 3. I have not used all the Pandora controls yet, but I will soon. I love the fact that there are apps already loaded and they work directly from the watch for your music on your phone. So far, I like this watch much better than I expected. I can read it. I can even see who is texting and calling me now. I highly recommend this smartwatch.

Almost a Winner
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first smart watch. My employer provides Fitbit devices and I chose this one. I was wanting something primarily for running that could: 1. Track my run distance without my phone 2. Play music without my phone The Versa 2 accomplishes those goals for the most part. Even without onboard GPS, the step tracking while running seems to be fairly accurate for distance, and I’m able to listen to music while I run. I’d add to the list of Pros: * Fairly fast overall and stable * It seems to track physical activity well * Syncs pretty flawlessly with the app so far * Battery lasts a good long while: 3-4 days is accurate with always on display turned off. With it on, expect 2 days max. The Cons—A Punchlist * Have to use music files I own in order to keep phone at home while running. Using Spotify requires phone to be connected. * Have to use iTunes playlists to transfer music with the Fitbit app for Mac * Transferring music through app is unbearably slow—60 tracks took 20 minutes. * Music skips while exercising (Apple AirPods) * Always on display doesn’t match chosen watch fave * Always on display is difficult to get “past.” Raising your wrist doesn’t wake up the device. Have to double tap very conspicuously or press physical button * Can’t reply to texts on iPhone * Superabundance of mundane or kitschy watch faces available * Watch bands are insanely difficult to change out. (By comparison, my wife’s Apple Watch is a total breeze.) * Large bezels on device * Software feels dated; think 2014 Samsung touchwiz * Absolutely zero useful apps outside of Weather * I find it uncomfortable to wear for more than a few hours. Larger wrists. YMMV. Neutral: * I don’t use voice controls like Alexa or Siri, so no comment there Summary For fitness tracking, this *mostly* does what I want it to. As an every day watch device, I’m a bit underwhelmed. A reviewer somewhere else said they’re trying too hard to be an Apple Watch, and I’m inclined to agree. If you’re an Android user, there’s probably a bit more value in this device as an everyday watch since you can reply to texts. If you’re an iPhone person wanting a great fitness tracker and timepiece, this’ll do just great. On the other hand, if you want a more robust watch experience, just do yourself a favor and get an Apple Watch.

Great fitness tracker... Almost great smartwatch.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off I paid the extra $30 for the special edition because it said it came with an extended trial period of fitbit premium, then I found out that fitbit premium is $10 a month... So I got a neat looking woven band, but basically paid the same price for the premium as if I had not gotten the special edition. Don't get the special edition unless you really like the band. Now on to the device itself... The device aesthetically is great. The screen is vibrant and easy to see. I thought the size was good as well. The band is interchangeable and fits bands from the original versa. This means that there are a lot of options for getting different bands and you can create whatever look you really want. Functionally the device is great. It is smooth with very little to no lag when switching screens. Alexa works adequately, however it cannot control aspects of your mobile device as most alexa devices do. If I told alexa to send a text message or make a call, it would say "this feature is not available on this device." You can respond to text messages and even the talk-to-text is very good, but I did not like how I could not just tell it to text someone. Since there is not a speaker on the watch itself there is no way to have phone conversations as you can with other smartwatches but you can accept or decline calls. I really liked that the device is waterproof and so I did not have to worry about it getting it wet or anything. The fitness functionality is great with this device. It automatically detects various exercises and does this extremely well. This is a great fitness tracker, I just think the price point is too high, even at $200. It is cheaper than the apple watch or the galaxy active watch, however, those devices let you make phone calls and send texts.... I feel as if the versa 2 is somewhere stuck between being a fitness tracker and a smart watch. Would I recommend it? Probably not at that price, there are other fitbits, including the original versa and the versa lite, that are cheaper and track fitness just as well, they are just missing a few minor features that the versa 2 has.

Mixed feelings.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really like this Fitbit besides a few drawbacks. Love the OLED screen and the always on display. The heart rate tracker is accurate and sleep tracking is great. Ability to answer text with voice via Alexa is accurate and never had a problem it understanding. Best part is battery life, 5-6 days. 4 with always on display. On the downside, I do notice some missed text notifications, this randomly happens, not sure why. My biggest problem with the watch is the step tracking. It counts steps even while I am in bed, And driving. Miscounts while driving I am ok with since never had a tracker that doesn't do the same, bit while in bed ??? Overall I am keeping the watch since my main reason for getting it was the heart rate tracking which is good. For someone looking something accurate in all areas, look someplace else, this things counts steps even while brushing teeth...

Versa 2 smartwatch
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The watch software is good overall but hard to manually enter data so it's better to use the app on your phone to do that. But quick looks for the time and total steps is pretty good. I like that you can upload info to the app in a nanosecond with one tap. The sleep software is not as exact and may end up giving you inaccurate info. The waistband is silicone so while it's easy to clean and is generally safe in water, it "sweats" on the skin. I have to take mine off frequently just to air off my wrist. Box comes with one extra half of wrist band. The "face" is nice and large but too large to adjust on edge of wrist where it's easier to read so I end up twisting my wrist more. Nice feature is the light (bright, med and low) for daytime or evening viewing. There is a premium app for @$80-100. I stuck to the basic (free) app. Other journaling apps provided free what the premium was offering for price. Had it for 1.5 weeks and am generally happy with it. Plug in battery charger included. Charges quickly.

Great Fitbit Watch!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had the Fitbit Versa 2 for a week now so far I'm loving it. With it's built in Alexa it helps keep things in order. It has multiple apps on it and much more you can download through the Fitbit app, such as Spotify, Pandora, Starbucks and much more. Then you have your regular alarm, timer, exercise (Lots of choices) and wallet to pay by tap. It's screen is the perfect size and super cool. The design is pretty I can't wait to show it off whenever I can, They also give you a large band in case the small/medium doesn't fit you well. It keeps track of my sleep, heart beat and sleep amazingly. Many clock face options on the Fitbit App most of which you have to pay for but I can appreciate the default look. My favorite thing has been the Smart wake on the alarm, to wake you during the optimal stage of sleep up to 30 minutes before your alarm.

Great Smartwatch/Fitness Tracker!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I had originally been using a Fitbit Inspire 3 for around 5 months before I noticed a decline in quality of that specific watch. That is when I decided to switch over to my new Fitbit, the Versa 2! I have loved everything about it and would say that the change was much needed! I get my cellphone notifications and I am able to track my steps, heartrate, exercise goals, and calorie goals all in one spot! The only thing I miss getting was the low heartrate alerts because I used to get them often and it was nice to know when it had fallen. I do not really need that feature so much now as my heart is in much better condition. I absolutely have loved my Versa! The battery lasts a teeny bit shorter, but it charges so quickly that it isnt even a problem! I also love that it's water resistant!

Best Fitbit Ever
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Fitbit yet, Looks great, the battery lasts a week or more. And it is the easiest Fitbit to use. Previously I had the Charge series and loved them (excluding the 3) When I upgraded to the Versa 2, I made the move because I hated the charge 3. I have been blown away in every possible way. The way the screen comes up when you lift your arm works perfectly. It's a small thing but I see other small watches try and fail to do this basic feature. I bought a watch face that shows battery and outside temp! Also, did I mention Alexa, I use Alexa often for research and measurement math, But if I'm out in the yard I don't have an echo nearby, the versa 2 has it built-in. I only hope that it doesn't get disabled by the google buy-out of Fitbit.

Great watch
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Fitbit watch is really cool. I wanted to be able to track my steps and I can't have my phone at work. I like how it tells you your heart rate and calories burned. You can change the face on it, to a interactive face. I have a plant face and every time I take steps the plants grow. The face size is good. I like it better than the thinner bands. It gives you reminders to walk and get active. It has the date, time steps, heart rate all on the front of the watch. The color is super cool and not to dark. It comes with a longer band incase the one that is on it isn't long enough for your wrist. The only bad thing is it doesn't come with a plug in charger. It has a USB charging cord but not the plug the goes into the wall.

Really liked this watch but no music was a killer
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have purchased a Garmin Venu, Garmin Venu Sq, Fitbit Versa 2, and 2 Apple Se watches. My favorite of the 5 was the Versa 2. But I ended up with the Apple Watch SE 44mm with GPS only. All that I really wanted out of a watch was the sleep tracking(Garmin was the best--Fitbit next best, heart rate, abilility to count calories and nutrients, and music on the watch so I could walk my dog with a tee shirt and gym shorts on and not take my phone. First were the Garmins--neither one of them would connect to my wifi in order to transfer music--took back--then came the Apple Watch SE with cellular service--was told that my bill would go up $10.00 per month--it went up $50.00--great with music if it was from iTunes--most of mine is in Amazon music--took that back--next was the versa 2--also unable to transfer music--their customer service support was deplorable--took that back--finally got the Apple Watch SE 44mm--it does what I wanted plus much much more--which to me is over kill. It also has the worst sleep tracking software--plus all of the sleep apps stink. Anyway thats my story--if you are interested in having music on your watch without having to have your phone with you, then go for the Apple.
