It has the capability to show you a text from your phone but you cannot answer it. One thing I do not like is, you cannot purchase the extended warranty from Best Buy. Seems odd..like Fitbit does not believe in their own product.?

Hubby purchased for me as a birthday gift. Didn't have the watch a year before it stopped working properly. It would freeze up in the middle of my workout. It would freeze in general throughout the day. I didn't buy protection so I had to purchase different Fitbit updated and got another version of the Fitbit. Also the band isn't good quality. Because of the material when you sweat the band would start to smell. I work out 5-6 days a week for at least 2 hours. I would have to constantly clean the band.

I like the watch but it did not come with any instructions. You had to go on the internet to get them. That is not good because if someone who got one of these and doesn't have a computer would be in big trouble.

Easy to use. Replaces older Fitbit device. Christmas gift for eight year-old twin grandsons.

Worked great for a few months. Lost connectivity to my phone one day and was unable to reconnect. In the process of trying to get it functional now all I get is spinning arrow.

I got it on December 10 and I’ve been having problems with it for the last week or so. The watch will freeze or I can’t scroll on it. I would try resync it to my phone and turn the watch on and off and it still does it. It’s a hot and miss on when I can scroll on the phone. And it doesn’t always notify me when I’m getting a call or text. The only reason why I got this is cause my Fitbit versa (the first one) the screen popped off after having it for a year and a half. So I decided to get this one because I couldn’t find the first one anymore.

Did not meet up with my expectations. Got this for my gf as I thought it'd be an upgrade from her the Ionic, which came out two years prior, but mostly missed the mark. This watch doesn't have a feature to download music and the ionic has that capability (which again came out 2yrs ago). My other knock is the brightness in comparison is dimmer. In my opinion, this watch seems to be more of a budget option for people who want a smart watch look and who care more for the aesthetics to their attire. But personally, working out without the need to lug a phone around during is a feature I think is highly important. Especially, for smart watches in the $200 and higher range.

The Versa 2 swimming app is mostly useless: when swimming, you cannot get the number of laps or distance on the watch. Only the time of day and a timer are visible (and a useless "keep it up" encouragement). You need to end the exercise and synchronize with your phone to get any data for the swim. The Fitbit Ionic, which I was trying to replace, shows a screen with some statistics when swimming. Another cons of the Versa 2 are the silicon bands: they are quite tricky to replace. They are some videos on how to do but be prepare for some frustration. I returned the watch: I swim quite a lot and not being able to get any number during the exercise was a deal breaker.

The App Store has some catching up to do. This smart watch isn’t Apple friendly but this hasn’t been much of an issue. Whereas it is very android friendly. The one I bought doesn’t light up like it’s supposed too even I flip my wrist.

Didn't vibrate strong enough for mom and sometimes not at all. Got a galaxy watch 4 and all good now. If you dont care about vibration then this watch isn't bad.

I bought this for my wife. It's okay. Not super comfortable, doesn't look that great. After a year of use, it isn't working that well anymore. Doesn't track heartrate well anymore and freezes up.

Just got it had 1 day ...looks pretty..great display..no volume control..cant feel vibration 4 notification at its strongest..had call 4nhelp to set up..I.will come back..to edit review later on.. My daughter has samsung easier set up

While I love having Alexa on my arm, I am very sad that she does not seem to talk so I can’t ask a question in the car and listen to her answer, you have to be able to look at your Fitbit and see what is written. Very shortsighted.

Replaced for a prior fitbit. Like the bigger screen. Works great I would recommend it.

It’s a great watch to track your exercise but not the walking.. even tho I’m not walking it keeps my number go up which is kinda ridiculous just because my hand is moving... needs more options on cardio..

Works great. I went from charge 2 to versa 2 however I wanted to keep the watch on all the time. When you do the battery must be recharged every 2 days. That is too much so went back to not keeping it on. Not worth the extra money

great fitbit! my last one lasted a very long time! loved it! so far this one is great

I cant wear it all night because the band causes irritation to my wrist. I am not sure if its accurate with the step count because I have walked the same route and step count and distance varies.

A good upgrade from my Charge 2. The downsides are that it doesn't always notify of incoming calls/texts and the voice response doesn't always work. If it does, it's a 50/50 chance that the message will send.

I can into buy a Fitbit, you had three salesman standing around talking did not offer to help me. I searched for someone for ten minutes, when I got help the guy was rude. I think your GS is great
