Customers are saying

Customers appreciate the Versa 2's ease of use, long battery life, and accurate sleep tracking capabilities. Many also highlight the positive aspects of its step tracking, various features, and reasonable price. While some users mention issues with the band's quality and occasional connectivity problems, the positive feedback on core functionalities outweighs these concerns. The watch's design and screen size also receive praise.

    Fitbit removing features and functionality

    Posted .

As of March 27, 2023 Fitbit is removing functionality and features including open groups, adventures and challenges. There are many trackers and smartwatches available including Garmin, Galaxy and Apple that will provide health analytics and step counts. Google bought Fitbit and is now selling their Google Pixel smartwatch using the Fitbit platform. It appears fitbit will be phased out, especially when they are removing the distinguishing features of connectivity with friends and family through challenges. They are not a good investment and I have buyers regret.

    Sync issues

After 5-6 years, Fitbit still haven't solved the sync issues! I don't have a computer to correct this every week. I asked the store rep and he said, "Oh sure. Fitbit is a much better product now." So, now I'm stuck with an expensive fitness watch I can't use properly half the time. It wouldn't be an problem if I had a computer at home. Other than that, I love it.

This was my first, and likely last fit bit. According to the settings, I activated my new Sense 2 on 7/26/21. Exactly one year later, I'm here with a watch that can't tell time and doesn't know what day it is. Syncing doesn't help. My phone can send notifications, but apparently the watch isn't interested in knowing the basics, like when the time changes. Telling time while traveling recently was a hassle, as the time wouldn't update time zones despite the phone doing to, and pairing is a painfully slow. Often times when wet it will end up on a random screen...no touch needed. Stats for distanced traveled was becoming wildly inaccurate, and it's almost amusing to see get your 10,000 step animation while sitting on your butt arranging things on your table.

BB can't help in repairing Fitbits

    Posted .

I purchased this item 9/2019, for $229.95, and it worked well. After 2½ yrs, the "crystal" fell off. Since it appeared that the gasket disintegrated I thought I'd take it back to BB and have it replaced; a simple repair. Although I have the total protection plan, I find out that BB doesn't work on Fitbits or other watches. The BB rep didn't know where I could get it fixed locally. He told me I'd have to contact Fitbit for repair information. Of course, the BB rep didn't know how to contact Fitbit. I don't think I'm being unreasonable to think a $229.95 watch (never dropped or has any scratches) should last for more than 2½ years. Certainly repairs--especially minor should be done without difficulty.

Great watch, but only for as long as it lasts.

This watch was great for the first 6-8 months - wore it consistently for runs, HIIT exercise, etc. Always removed while showering, just in case. After 14 months of ownership, just beyond the warranty, it has simply stopped working. It no longer charges, there's no mechanism to reset, and Fitbit support is not helpful.

Doesnt stay connected to bluetooth or Wifi

My husband bought this watch for me for my birthday. I had been wanting one for awhile but didnt want to spend the money. The first day I got it I could not connect it to bluetooth. I had to go through the Fitbit chat service and have the watch reset. A BRAND NEW WATCH!!! After finally getting it to connect to bluetooth it worked great and I had no issues with it. I loved it. But recently the watch required a software update and I have had nothing but issues with it since. It will not stay connected to bluetooth and now I am having issues connecting to Wifi. I have had to connect to the fitbit chat multiple times to troubleshoot these issues and though it temporarily gets resolved its not a permanent resolution. Also found out that the watch is "sometimes" compatable with my Motorola One Action Android phone. I wish I would have gone with a different watch. This one has been disapointing

Ok Smart Watch, crappy fitness tracker.

If your hoping this watch will give accurate heart rate monitoring while working look elsewhere. If you're doing basic cardio it's fine, runs, walk, elliptical, etc but even rowing is a challenge for this watch and forget about anything high intensity. It'll literally be at half what your heart rate is if you hand calculate it. The band starts out comfortable but the soft finish soon rubs off leaving a hard river that has rubbed three raw spots on my under wrist. I've tried lose fitting and tight to no avail. As a pedometer it's great and as a smart watch it has decent function but look elsewhere if you're wanting to legitimately see what your heart rate is during intense exercise.

It did work but I kept finding major roadblocking bugs. The one I had to deal with the longest is my watch refusing to update. This lasted forever. I gave up and bought an Apple watch.
