Buying the Fitbit or any of these smartwatchs is a ripoff. I've barely had my watch a year since May 2022 and conveniently is past the lousy limited 1 year warranty to get fixed by Google. The screen has stopped working and turned white and the original bands broke. I called the Fitbit help line because you cant take it back to Best Buy and all they could do was send 35% off to buy ANOTHER watch that will likely be broken in another year. Fitbit company knows these expensive watches are crap and keep selling them so people will keep buying more. Well Im not after this. This is the second watch purchased and the exact same thing happened so not spending more money on something that last a year maybe a year and a half and then spend another $200. Ridiculous.

Loved the watch for the time it lasted.. don't forget to get an extended warranty from best buy, because shortly after the manufacture warranty is up its gonna break. They are advertised to be for active people but i guess i was just too active?? The face plate came off in water so now i have a paperweight.. and its not even good for that..

I expected more at this price. I had to turn off all features to get some battery life, which is not why I got the watch. If I walk and listen to music via the watch the battery really drains. I had to turn off quick view. I have not added apps. I am just dissatisfied with battery life. I tried to use a watch face that would use less, but finding one that shows battery life is an issue. Wish I had gone for the ladies garmin, kinda wasted my money :(

Before you buy a Fitbit of any kind go to their Facebook page and you will find thousands of complaints. Also google "Better Business Bureau Fitbit" and you will find they will not accredit them and have nearly 1000 complaints and barely half have been resolved. I've had two Charge 3s. The first lasted 10 months and the replacement they sent me lasted 6 months. Their customer service is horrible. These trackers are defective and don't last. Please read the reviews before you buy and its not just the Charge 3. There are complaints about all different ones. They won't replace the second one they sent me because they say it goes on the original warranty of the first one so they offered me a discount on an upgrade but I had to buy another Charge 3 or Versa and only certain colors. The also won't let me use the discount on the new Charge 4. Now why would I want another Charge 3 when I've had two defective ones. Do yourself a favor and get an Apple watch. You will spend that much buying Fitbits in less than two years and at least they work and Apple stands by their products and has great customer service.

Third of a Series of Fitbits, previous issues with the Fitbit watch bands and the associated irritation. Thought that changing to leather bands would help and it did but get burn/ irritation from the charging electrodes! Also poor battery life.

I've owned several fitbit models since 2015 and liked Charge2. But the screen cracked and can be replaced. I was intrigued by SP02 monitor, GPS, among other features. I loved the shape and the face. The spring pin wrist band attachment is absolute rubbish, and i'm sure many bands break and are then difficult to reposition, because of it. The reason i returned it was that i could not get a heart reading at all. No point in me buying this - without the heart rate, you can't monitor sleep either. The combination of my bony wrist and the large square form factor resulted in no contact no matter where i moved it up and down my wrist. Also, i was very disappointed to learn i'd have to subscribe to advanced apps to use the oxygen reading. It's moot for me on this device, but i was not willing to pay an extra $10 monthly when i was not confident of the accuracy of any of the readings. I did return it and bought a fitbit charge 4.

I loved my Fitbit Versa 2. I’ve owned it for 2 1/2 years. Just replaced the band 2 months ago because the little strap keeper broke. However, it just stopped working. It started by not being able to swipe to another screen. I’d tap the exercise icon and couldn’t get it to recognize or accept the exercise I wanted to track. Then it just failed. Couldn’t charge it. Couldn’t get it to turn on. Couldn’t reboot it. It just died. A watch should last more than 2 1/2 years. Planned obsolescence, so you’ll buy another one. That’s unacceptable.

All of my prior Fitbit models lasted over 2 years and I sold them to upgrade to newer models with the exception of the Versa 2. It died without warning at 14 months. I am so disappointed in the quality. Fitbit offered me a 35% off coupon that did not work. These smart watches cost way too much money to only last a little over a year. The new models are even more money and the bands for the current model won’t fit the new model because they are all re-designed. Some of my friends suggest this is a marketing ploy to get you to upgrade. Fitbit quality has gone downhill. ☹

Loved it for a year, then the heart rate feature stopped working. (all the other sensors work fine). The fitbit help line people were extremely helpful, but everytime I called, they had a new thing for me to try to get it working. I upgraded my computer, the app, my iPhone, I started, stopped, and factory reset everything. Nope....and sorry, the warranty is expired. I never got an answer as to why the heart rate stopped....it really seems like a software problem as the little light on back will work for about 2 minutes after a reboot, then nothing. Anyone have a recommendation for a more reliable device?

Bought on 6/01/20, on 6/04 vibrate not working then touchscreen not working. Returned it and received new one on 6/06. Eight hours later watch has black screen with no response. Charged it but still no response. Garbage. Fitbit zero quality control.

I don’t really like it. It needs charging way to often compared to my older Fitbit. Doesn’t really have that many features. I wish I bough an Apple Watch instead.

The screen corrupts after a certain period of usage. If this is due to sweat or use then it's completely useless as a watch that is advertised for exercise. This is not the only product to fail either. The versa three also had a similar issue. The best solution the company offered to compensate their faulty technology is a slight discount. Save your money and buy a better brand.

Worked for a little while after I got it then stopped pairing. Wouldn’t recommend this version

I bought this for one reason: to monitor my heart rate. I already had a watch. I already had a pedometer. It DOESN'T RECORD HEART RATE correctly. The numbers are all over the place. Fitbit's site says to reboot the device. Still doesn't work. There are MANY complaints on Fitbit's user forums for this that are over TWO YEARS OLD. Don't buy it.

I hate when these products companies try and force you into a service you don’t want. With the Blaze I could run my Amazon music but not the newest Fitbit (Versa 2) and this one has Alexa built in . Does that make any sense? Why Alexa it’s pointless? Returning it tomorrow!

Changing the bands is the biggest pain!!! What was to a be a nice birthday gift for my wife, turned into a nightmare because we could not get the band on. Terribly designed. Was this consumer tested before rolling it out? Torturous. Ugh. Should have stayed with Apple. Go back to the drawing board and try again!

After ONE YEAR, this became a high-priced wristband! Without warning, a few months ago the Versa 2 stopped recording Sleep. Shortly thereafter, it also stopped monitoring Heart Rate. Unless you want a timepiece, which your smartphone is quite capable of doing, save your money!

The screen stopped working after 1.5 months. Tried all the methods for restarting but no response. Customer support providing 35 discount for a new purchase. How can they think of me buying this rubbish watch again? WORST WATCH DON'T BUY IT. IT LAST NO LONGER THAN 1.5 months.
