Customers appreciate the Versa 2's ease of use, long battery life, and accurate sleep tracking capabilities. Many also highlight the positive aspects of its step tracking, various features, and reasonable price. While some users mention issues with the band's quality and occasional connectivity problems, the positive feedback on core functionalities outweighs these concerns. The watch's design and screen size also receive praise.

18 mos. that’s it
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It worked well, for the 18 months I’ve owned it, however where the pins for the band go in on the back of the watch, just broke. Standing there one day, and my watch just falls off my wrist. Good thing I wasn’t somewhere that I couldn’t retrieve it. Guess I’ll look for something with a little more quality.

Disappointed
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Has been recording a high heart rate when it’s not being worn. It has given me high readings at times and has caused me a lot of anxiety. Now that this is happening I’m not sure I can trust it to give accurate information.

A cool smart watch.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the color of my Fitbit Versa 2, and I like that I can personalize my watch face. The only thing I don’t like is I can’t receive text messages or make calls from my watch.

Defective
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Screen just fell off in less than 2 years of everyday use. No damage prior. Warranty is conveniently just 1 year. Warranty should be longer/ fitbit should make longer lasting products.

Almost a Winner
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first smart watch. My employer provides Fitbit devices and I chose this one. I was wanting something primarily for running that could: 1. Track my run distance without my phone 2. Play music without my phone The Versa 2 accomplishes those goals for the most part. Even without onboard GPS, the step tracking while running seems to be fairly accurate for distance, and I’m able to listen to music while I run. I’d add to the list of Pros: * Fairly fast overall and stable * It seems to track physical activity well * Syncs pretty flawlessly with the app so far * Battery lasts a good long while: 3-4 days is accurate with always on display turned off. With it on, expect 2 days max. The Cons—A Punchlist * Have to use music files I own in order to keep phone at home while running. Using Spotify requires phone to be connected. * Have to use iTunes playlists to transfer music with the Fitbit app for Mac * Transferring music through app is unbearably slow—60 tracks took 20 minutes. * Music skips while exercising (Apple AirPods) * Always on display doesn’t match chosen watch fave * Always on display is difficult to get “past.” Raising your wrist doesn’t wake up the device. Have to double tap very conspicuously or press physical button * Can’t reply to texts on iPhone * Superabundance of mundane or kitschy watch faces available * Watch bands are insanely difficult to change out. (By comparison, my wife’s Apple Watch is a total breeze.) * Large bezels on device * Software feels dated; think 2014 Samsung touchwiz * Absolutely zero useful apps outside of Weather * I find it uncomfortable to wear for more than a few hours. Larger wrists. YMMV. Neutral: * I don’t use voice controls like Alexa or Siri, so no comment there Summary For fitness tracking, this *mostly* does what I want it to. As an every day watch device, I’m a bit underwhelmed. A reviewer somewhere else said they’re trying too hard to be an Apple Watch, and I’m inclined to agree. If you’re an Android user, there’s probably a bit more value in this device as an everyday watch since you can reply to texts. If you’re an iPhone person wanting a great fitness tracker and timepiece, this’ll do just great. On the other hand, if you want a more robust watch experience, just do yourself a favor and get an Apple Watch.

Great fitness tracker... Almost great smartwatch.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off I paid the extra $30 for the special edition because it said it came with an extended trial period of fitbit premium, then I found out that fitbit premium is $10 a month... So I got a neat looking woven band, but basically paid the same price for the premium as if I had not gotten the special edition. Don't get the special edition unless you really like the band. Now on to the device itself... The device aesthetically is great. The screen is vibrant and easy to see. I thought the size was good as well. The band is interchangeable and fits bands from the original versa. This means that there are a lot of options for getting different bands and you can create whatever look you really want. Functionally the device is great. It is smooth with very little to no lag when switching screens. Alexa works adequately, however it cannot control aspects of your mobile device as most alexa devices do. If I told alexa to send a text message or make a call, it would say "this feature is not available on this device." You can respond to text messages and even the talk-to-text is very good, but I did not like how I could not just tell it to text someone. Since there is not a speaker on the watch itself there is no way to have phone conversations as you can with other smartwatches but you can accept or decline calls. I really liked that the device is waterproof and so I did not have to worry about it getting it wet or anything. The fitness functionality is great with this device. It automatically detects various exercises and does this extremely well. This is a great fitness tracker, I just think the price point is too high, even at $200. It is cheaper than the apple watch or the galaxy active watch, however, those devices let you make phone calls and send texts.... I feel as if the versa 2 is somewhere stuck between being a fitness tracker and a smart watch. Would I recommend it? Probably not at that price, there are other fitbits, including the original versa and the versa lite, that are cheaper and track fitness just as well, they are just missing a few minor features that the versa 2 has.

Really liked this watch but no music was a killer
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have purchased a Garmin Venu, Garmin Venu Sq, Fitbit Versa 2, and 2 Apple Se watches. My favorite of the 5 was the Versa 2. But I ended up with the Apple Watch SE 44mm with GPS only. All that I really wanted out of a watch was the sleep tracking(Garmin was the best--Fitbit next best, heart rate, abilility to count calories and nutrients, and music on the watch so I could walk my dog with a tee shirt and gym shorts on and not take my phone. First were the Garmins--neither one of them would connect to my wifi in order to transfer music--took back--then came the Apple Watch SE with cellular service--was told that my bill would go up $10.00 per month--it went up $50.00--great with music if it was from iTunes--most of mine is in Amazon music--took that back--next was the versa 2--also unable to transfer music--their customer service support was deplorable--took that back--finally got the Apple Watch SE 44mm--it does what I wanted plus much much more--which to me is over kill. It also has the worst sleep tracking software--plus all of the sleep apps stink. Anyway thats my story--if you are interested in having music on your watch without having to have your phone with you, then go for the Apple.

1st Fitbit lasted less than 9 months!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unfortunately had to buy this Fitbit Versa to replace the other that ONLY lasted less than 1yr since the face just suddenly popped off the frame like the seal just gave up. I nvr get it wet so I truly have no idea why it broke. However, the ONLY reason I purchased this again instead of what all my other family members have, 5 Apple Watches, is bc the battery for Fitbits literally last FIVE times longer! I also got used to the app that does a great job tracking steps, heart rate metrics, sleep metrics, and a lot more. So 3 Stars since something this expensive REALLY should last longer than 9 months!

Love the watch, hate the band
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this fitness watch. I'm not as excited about it that it doesn't have a Google interface, but for the price I was willing to let it go. I love that I can swim with this for over an hour with no damage and that I can read and dictate messages to people that message me, AND in other languages besides English. The only down fall for this watch for me is that my skin is definitely sensitive to the band on the watch. I don't feel like I normally have sensitive skin, but extended wear of this watch, even if you are keeping the band dry, may still result in scaly flaky skin. After it happened the first time I changed how often I was wearing the watch and made sure that it was loose on my wrist but I still am developing a rash in the same spot as last time. I can't return the watch, but I definitely will be looking for some fabric type bands instead of this silicone type material that the band is made of so that I can continue to wear this watch. The battery life on it is okay. I think adding working out to your schedule will maybe keep your battery charged 4 days? But it's not bad. I don't think charging your watch for an hour every 4 or 5 days is a tedious thing.

Good For beginners
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this product for about three weeks and I like the Fitbit Versa 2 for all that it offers. The sleep tracking, the fitness features, sleek design, and the battery life is why I wanted it. Also I had a Fitbit Alta a few years ago and this is by far better. Not too much in the realm of techy stuff. And just enough fitness items to make a really great addition to a beginner in health and fitness like myself.

wrist rash
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first I was completely in love with this thing and the app that came with it. The look is nice, the feel is nice and being able to constantly and easily see the time, how many steps you've taken calories you've burned among other things is fantastic. I really attribute my weight loss of over 10lbs in one week to this Fitbit. HOWEVER, it did cause me to develop some weird rash or peeling on my wrist that have left me with a dark spot which resembles bruising. I've haven't been keen on wearing it since. Also, I might add that I didn't develop the rash until I switched to the extra band in the box. So maybe the regular band won't be an issue.

Thought it would be able to do alot more
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great as a watch. You can track your steps and heart rate. But to get access to features you actually want you have to also get the premium membership. With music, to use Pandora or Spotify you have to pay for their premium memberships to use them. Or you can download your personal music via a computer which took hours just to do. For the contactless pay feature only a small amount of banks are allowed to use it. Mine was not one of them. And I can't get my texts to sync to the device. Also.... almost everything has to be done through the fitbit app on your phone/computer. You'll rarely use the watch to do anything but check the time... Also says battery life is 5 days, but i keep having to charge it every other day. So overall, I paid an expensive price just to have something that the cheaper models can do. My advice just get a step tracker. Or a regular watch.

Not tattoo friendly
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really loved the style and how lightweight this watch was. Also having the ability to switch clock faces was nice. Calls were clear, the bluetooth range was actually really good, and the battery life was great. My only issue with this watch was the heartrate sensor doesn't play well with tattoos. I had the Fitbit Inspire HR prior to getting this and that worked flawlessly with my tattoos. With the versa, there were a lot of gaps in my heartrate graphs. So, because of that, the sleep tracking also didn't work properly. Another issue was with the automatic workout tracking. With the heartrate sensor being janky some of my workouts weren't picked up. At the end it had to go back and I'm still searching for a great fitness/smartwatch.

Smart watch by Fitbit
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Definitely am improvement from Versa One. Quick response and very sharp LCD screen. Sleek design looks similar to the Apple Watcj design but at a much lower price. The two things i do not like are first the fact that the GPS is not built into the watch and so you have to use it with a cell phone to get real time tracking and other services. The second is since it does not tlhave the GPS chop built in like the Ionic version, it drains the cell phone battery because of the constant connectivity.

Almost there but not quite
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When it can sync to my s10 phone Versa 2 is great. Display is gorgeous, it has a ton of features (although none of my major credit cards like Citibank are eligible for FitBit Pay) and navigation is fast and intuitive. But I use it alot to sync my activity to Weight Watchers and often my phone can connect the Versa 2 although my fitbit will be on my left wrist while my phone is in my right. I get a lot of 'Device not found' and it may be hours before they finally sync up. If the connectivity was better I would not hesitate to recommend but because of these issues I say but with caution.

Good FITNESS TRACKER
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros:Big, but that means a nice large display is included. The fitness tracking aspects work really good. Long battery life. Cons: The charger needs a better design as it will not lay flat because the cord comes straight out of the back of it. Apps require subscriptions and too many advertisements. Missing the ability to label alarms Summary: Hardware is good, Fitness tracking is good. Non related fitness software leaves a lot to be desired.

Versa 2 - eh.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my daughter because she doesnt need a $500 Apple watch! It works great as a fit tracker with decent battery life, but the app selection is lacking. Also, we use Hue lighting in our house and the app or the watch always fails to reconnect to the network and/or the Hue bridge. A bit annoying. It's decent quality and fit/sleep tracking for the price... but def lacking in the smart watch category.
