Customers are saying

Customers appreciate the Versa 2's ease of use, long battery life, and accurate sleep tracking capabilities. Many also highlight the positive aspects of its step tracking, various features, and reasonable price. While some users mention issues with the band's quality and occasional connectivity problems, the positive feedback on core functionalities outweighs these concerns. The watch's design and screen size also receive praise.

It worked well, for the 18 months I’ve owned it, however where the pins for the band go in on the back of the watch, just broke. Standing there one day, and my watch just falls off my wrist. Good thing I wasn’t somewhere that I couldn’t retrieve it. Guess I’ll look for something with a little more quality.

The band broke me out. I have been using Fitbit since 2015 and never had this happen. There are also syncing issues with the phone app. This is too expensive to have these issues.

I LOVED the FitBit Versa 2 when I first bought it. Then on Christmas my band broke. I’ve since bought a replacement band and trying to fix it is beyond frustrating. In fact frustrating enough that I’ll never own another Fitbit product again nor shop at Best Buy again - where I’ve spent $25,000 + over the last decade. I’ll be switching to an Apple Watch and will absolutely be expecting my money back from Best Buy

I originally purchased a Versa Special Edition (the one with the lavender band). I loved the look of the watch but the light-colored band got FILTHY just from everyday use. I couldn't even get it clean with dish soap and a nail brush. I still prefer the sleek looks of the Versa line to the chunkier Galaxy Watch. The Versa 2 has a nice, comfortable dark-colored band that doesn't show the dirt, plus they bumped up the already great battery life to 7 days and added Alexa. I just wish that I could answer messages and phone calls directly from the watch. That's the one plus the Galaxy Watch has over the Fitbit Versa 2.

This is my updated Fitbit and think it's great! It simply has upgraded features that are easier to use and see. The band seems to be a bit flimsy though.

Short term good; long term lousy

Initially I was very pleased with this watch, and probably would have given it a 5. BUT... The first band broke - just after it was out of warranty - at the flexion point where the peg in the bracelet went through the hole in the other half of the band. I changed out to the second (larger wrist) band that came with the watch. Less than a year later, it fractured completely very close to its point of attachment with the watch itself - not a stress point, but simply a poor band. Fitbit sells replacement bands in packs of three, at least if one wants a metal replacement band. The other two are guady-awful silicone bands that no thinking male would wear; it costs over $30.00 for two useless bands plus a stainless steel band. To compound my frustration, the battery has become progressively worse with time. I am very lucky now to get three days to a charge (they now advertise six days), and frequently only two. This is in spite of even less use of the battery (i.e., not nearly as many 10K or more runs compared to my previous activity). The watch, paired to a smart phone, still works well. But for the price, another brand with similar performance features - and there are several out there - would make a lot mor fiscal sense and cause far less frustration.

This Fitbit is an upgrade from my previous Versa2 that was three years old. The original Versa2 battery was only holding a charge for a day. The silicone band broke and needed to be replaced. It also needed to be restarted of have the software reinstalled frequently to be able to sync with my phone. The price is great and operating it is great, that's why I upgraded. Love the comfort of the woven band. Wonderful price and features. Not sure how it compares to the Versa3

At first I was completely in love with this thing and the app that came with it. The look is nice, the feel is nice and being able to constantly and easily see the time, how many steps you've taken calories you've burned among other things is fantastic. I really attribute my weight loss of over 10lbs in one week to this Fitbit. HOWEVER, it did cause me to develop some weird rash or peeling on my wrist that have left me with a dark spot which resembles bruising. I've haven't been keen on wearing it since. Also, I might add that I didn't develop the rash until I switched to the extra band in the box. So maybe the regular band won't be an issue.

Fitbit Versa 2 - So far i like it

I've had the Versa 2 for a couple of weeks and has worked well for what i purchased it for. I needed a not too expensive watch that could be an extension of my phone so I could get notifications when in a noisy factory. It has worked well so far. I wish Fitbit carried a stainless steel band for it. I've seen 3rd party one's but the reviews for them weren't good.

I had a older style fitbit but this new one is great! It has lots more items to track and like how it reminds you when updates and battery recharging needed. I would give it a 5 star only if they had a better bad. The silicone band makes me break out but I've already ordered a more breathable band.

Works great, is comfortable and has great features. Battery life deteriorates after a few months, going from ~5 days on a charge to about 2 and the bands wear out quickly, but the watch is still a good value.

Heartrate tracking works good, which is basically why I got it. Battery lasts a full week between charges. The only thing I dont like is the cloth band that comes with the pro package type deal. It gave me rug burn on two separate occasions.

Versa 2 replacing a failed 18 month old charge 3

So this is my 3rd Fit product. I had a charge 2 and about 18 months ago got a charge 3. I bought the Versa 2 to replace the 3 as the watch became useless after the last firmware update that darkened the screen in the normal mode so you could not see it outside in the sun. I wanted to keep with fit as I have a family group that we all keep motivated using the Fit application. I purchased a Versa2 for my daughter for Christmas and it is still working. I did buy the 2 year warranty from fitbit , so hopping I don't need to find out if they will honor it if it fails early like my first 2 Fit watches. the band is picky where you place the strap loop.

    Purchased to replace Versa Lite

I bought this because I lost my Versa Lite on a trip. If you have a Versa Lite, this is essentially the same with some added features. The downside of the Versa 2 is that it is not compatible with my phone. You need to watch out because the Versa Lite worked with my Samsung Luna Pro. I use my iPad to sync it to my account, and my phone has been able to send alerts to the watch ever since. It sounds like it shouldn’t be able to, but it works. I guess it was because I had the Versa Lite? ...who know. Overall, it is a good tracker and watch. I like having my Alexa account on my wrist and a calculator app (I had to install that). The band is a little hard to switch out too.

Brought as a present for my wife, replacing another Fitbit versa, she lost. Now the only real issue she has it that it's a little fickle and sometime problematic with the integration and or use of the voice activations. But the product does a good job overall. Design needs improvement in regards to the replacement bands...this is why she lost the first one, the band came loose and fell off while she was running and she was so intense that she never even noticed it. I still make fun of her, but truth be told it should have never happen, her last thoughts should not be about the equipment once its secured on and more about her workout.

i had previously read that if you have a tattoo that it wont read heartbeat and thats true. i like the fitbit as far as other benefits go, ie: walking steps, sleep patterns, incoming messages... i'm not a fan of the band, i plan to get a newer one. I had the best buy tech place the shield on watch, there was a bubble , and he said it would just work its way out and it didn't, so now the screen protector is starting to fall off and i paid 7.99 for install..

Love the device itself! As mentioned in previous reviews, the bands that come with it are a hazard. My skin is sensitive, but I have never had any issues with previous Fitbit models! I had a rash on my wrist almost immediately that would not go away. I bought replacement bands from Amazon for fairly cheap and have not had the issue since. Overall, I'm still happy with the purchase--just prepare to need to replace the bands.

Works very well, and love all the features on it. Only issue I had with it was the silicone band it came with continuously held moisture and would cause a rash. Ordered a different band, and now everything is perfect.
