Still a fitness tracker at heart
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like wearing watches but I also wanted one to keep track of my daily fitness (or lack thereof) as well as one that would provide basic "smart" functions. This is primarily a fancy Fitbit. I've had older Fitbit devices and they are good at what they are intended to do. This does the same well. The ability to choose watch faces is nice and the free selection is decent. I like that it tracks multiple aspects of my sleep (O2 levels, breathing rate, heart rate, and sleep levels). It was easy to pair with my phone and it the few calls I've taken on it sounded good on both ends (or so I'm told). Overall, I think the Versa 3 is an affordable alternative to other watches. There are definitely features on here that I will never use but that's also part of Fitbit making a product to compete with Samsung and Apple. Cons: The band initially felt a little cheap. It doesn't have a high end look but it serves its purpose. You can purchase replacement bands for different looks. The interface can be a bit clunky. Make sure you don't swipe the wrong way. The weather was programmed to show me the weather of my location but got stuck on the wrong place. The controls went out of sync with my phone a few times.

Versatile and Worth It!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently got the Fitbit Versa 3 and it has been so easy to use. I think a lot of fitness watches can get a bit tricky but it is easy to use, stays charged for hours, accurately monitors my workouts and so much more. Not to mention it is also a smartwatch so I can get all of my texts on it as well. It is so versatile and lightweight on your wrist as well. I really recommend this watch if you are looking for a watch for fitness. *Disclaimer: Best Buy College Crew members receive products to write honest, unbiased reviews. liked it alot - for almost 3 years
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's worked pretty well for almost 3 years. I do have to charge it every 3-4 days, depending on how many features I use. However, last night, the battery drained in a flash. I recharged it to 100%, and it drained again. I reset it, then charged again. It apparently got too hot, and now I can't get it restarted. I think it died.

Love it--easy to use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the FITBIT Versa 3 about 24 hours ago. I love it! It was easy to set up (and I am 68 years old--hardly a digital expert). I uploaded the manual to my computer (in PDF from) and any questions I had were easily answered from there. You must "play" with it to develop an understanding of all the screens and how to access them. Sometimes I think people give items negative reviews because they are too lazy to investigate the product. They want it to be super intuitive and to "guess" what they are thinking. That being said, I think this is very intuitive but like anything else, it take some work. I love the clock faces. I have taken it for three walks so far, and the GPS worked well. I have also exercised with weights and I felt the transition in heart rate as I exercised was accurate (and I am a retired cardiac nurse). All of this being said, I am coming from a Charge 2, so this was a pretty big upgrade for me.

A lot of fun
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first smartwatch so I have nothing to compare it to. I am buried deep in the Android universe and have no desire to leave, plus I have 5 years of Fitbit data and want to continue with that fitness program. I couldn't be happier. As a new user, the learning curve is a bit daunting, but I'm starting to get my feel of navigation. Having on board GPS is a definite plus. As a 74 year old man, I walk for exercise, usually about 10 miles per day. This watch, GPS and program gives me all the information I need. If that were all it did, I would be happy, but then there's Alexa for information, on board music, notification, texting and on and on. Having a microphone for voice to text typing is just a cherry on top. It's light, comfortable and attractive. We'll see if it holds up as well as my Fitbit Charge 2, A new toy with a ton of useful features. What's not to like?

Stair tracking is wrong all the time.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Incredibly bad stair tracking. You go up 10 flights of stairs, it counts 60. You go up 0, it says 90. "Smart" features are ok. You can check the weather... great. I stayed out of town for a week and it took about a month to change back to my own location. Always needs to sync to your phone to use any smart features. Haven't used the Starbucks or Spotify apps, never will. If you have a charge and are thinking this is an upgrade, this is basically a charge with a color screen. Side button is hard to press and too easy too press at the same time. Its still good for tracking steps and workouts. (I think. It feels right, but I haven't counted my own steps.) Everything else is just bloat and/or doesn't even work that well.

Fitbit? You'll be sorry!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fitbits are garbage. My versa 3 brand new glitched after 6 months, screen stopped working so they replaced it with a REFURBISHED ITEM!!! The activation date in the watch history told me that. This one lasted 14 months before it died. I paid 200 for the Fitbit, about 35 to protect it from damage, 30 for insurance and 100x2 for the app so I could use it for what it was intended to do. So all in all I paid 465 for a watch I had to charge twice a day and lasted less than 2 years. Run as fast as you can away from fitbits, they are throw away pieces of garbage, you could get the same on Temu for less than 29.just bought a galaxy 7, gonna see how that works but I can tell you no hidden costs with Samsung, no 100 for an app to use the watches function. Fitbit is a huge ripoff that will nickel and dime you right out of that Rolex you've been wanting. You'll be sorry if you choose Fitbit. I bid you to Google the life expectancy of the model you choose, despite owning the brand even Google admits they are throw aways.

Not a happy camper
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to go from Apple Watch Series 5 to the Fitbit Versa 3 mainly for the battery life. The Versa 3 pretty much does the same things as the AW. Once I took my Versa 3 out of the box I could immediately tell it looked very cheap, I put it in my wrist and the band felt weird. Like others have said I don’t like how the side button is flush with the side of the watch. I have returned the Versa 3 and went with a Versa 2 and I am so much more happier

Love it but set up wasn't the best...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received this as a gift and I love it!!. However I gave it four stars because the set up was not as easy as many have claimed it to be. First off, it doesn't run on 5G. The wifi in my home runs on 5g and for whatever reason it didn't easily connect via bluetooth either as I tried to use that route instead of the wifi...over an hour setting and resetting..pairing and unpairing....it just wouldn't sync. I finally gave up and called the tech the next day and even with her it was not easy...finally after some trial and error...we finally got it to sync. It's been working great ever since. Definitely wish setup was much easier and that it ran on 5g as well being that it is the latest Fitbit watch.

Fitbit Versa 3
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first Fitbit and loving it already. Only con I have noticed, is the “button” sensor. There is no actual button, just a sensor. The Long Hold feature of the “button” basically works when it wants to work. I’m 22 and good with technology things but it still took me a bit of getting used to, to figure the “button” out even after looking at the manual. I find myself double tapping the screen to wake it, a lot more than using the “button”. Wish it didn’t take me as long as it did to learn how to figure out how to use the “button”.

Expensive watch with some smart features...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.(I may have left 2 -5 reviews on anything in my life but here goes) After reading the reviews for this watch I was very excited to get it. When realty struck however the experience was less than great. In a word the best description of this watch is "UNSTABLE" I have a note 20 plus that is less than 6 months old paired with this device I am more surprised when I go to do something on the watch and it is connected to the phone than I am when it isn't. One of he biggest reasons I was excited about the phone was the idea that it could store music so I wouldn't have to take my phone with me when I went to workout (run, walk, hike, unplug). I guess technically it does but from what I understand it is only through downloads on one service on one 3rd party app that I have never heard of before. So yes while it's true technically there definitely should be an satiric in there somewhere. I'd be lying to say I didn't still like the idea of the watch but it almost feels like a prototype for a complete watch coming soon with a list of impressive features they are working out the kinks in. The third star is what it is when it's working but I'd almost say it's more like a 2.5 or 2. I don't even hate it but had to change my mind set on it to having gotten an expensive watch with some smart feature, as opposed to a less expensive smart watch.
