Great for running. Keeps track of my fitness and keeps me motivated to improve my workouts. Lightweight on my wrist, too.

I was so excited for this Fitbit to be released. I'm now pretty bummed and will be returning it tomorrow. Here is my list of pros and cons: Pros: * GPS - This is the biggest reason for my excitement. I wanted a way to track my runs without taking my phone with me. (read cons for why I still can't go without my phone) The GPS is pretty accurate. * SpO2 % - Pretty cool that it can track this....but it only gives a range from when you are sleeping. No way to spot check this. Cannot figure out why they didn't make this possible. * The flat back - the Versa line is the only fitness/smartwatch I have been able to tolerate. I despise the raised round backs of so many others. The back of this watch causes no discomfort. Cons: * No music storage - wth Fitbit?!?! So you added GPS, but took away music storage. Major design flaw. It can only stream music when connected to a phone via Bluetooth, so I *still* must take my phone on runs with me. This is the reason I am returning the watch. * SpO2% - like I mentioned above, there is no way to spot check this. I would love to see what happens with this during runs, when I go up to higher altitude and workout, etc. But, nope, it only tells me about the values from when I was asleep. *eyeroll* I am going to try the new Garmin Venu Sq Music Edition and hope the back of it is not as uncomfortable as I have experienced with other similar watches. It is about $20 more but can do all the things that the Versa 3 can do PLUS the things the Versa 3 can't. Onboard music storage, and spot checking SpO2. I'll miss the Fitbit communities and my familiarity with the Fitbit platform.

This is a great product I love it and use it daily during workouts and during my sleep. It's perfect and plays music while I am working out and can also take calls. I've had no problems with this product. Best Buy College Crew members receive products to write honest, unbiased reviews. Not worth it without fitbit premium

I received this watch for Christmas in 2021. The watch works great! Easy to use, battery lasts. Have a great standing charge for it. The app is great too. My complaint is that the cost of this watch is over 200 dollars and to be able to use all the benefits of the watch you have to pay an additional almost 100 dollars a year for the premium membership. I find that insulting. I can wear a cheaper fitbit and get all the same basic features. I just dont feel the watch is worth the money without fitbit premium. So if your not gonna pay the extra 100 dollars a year for fitbit premium, the watch isnt worth it.

I so wanted this to be the one watch

As an early adopter of Fitbit tech (seriously--I was part of early studies!), I was hoping this would be the device that brought me back from Google Wear/Fit (whose fitness tracking leaves much to be desired, but phone integration is top-notch). I returned it after 10 days for a number of reasons: 1. "Floors" count was WAAAAAY off. Every day, it would say I'd walked at least 14 flights of stairs when I hadn't even been near a staircase, lol. On days where I'd never leave the house, it would say I'd walked eight. When I woke up one morning, it said I'd done one. Researching this issue, turns out Fitbit has known there's a problem for over two years now, and their only solution has been to hide the floor count in your dashboard. Seriously? 2. You can no longer store music on the watch as you did with the Versa 2. Music control now works through Pandora/Deezer/Spotify playlists, meaning you have to pay for memberships in those programs AND have your phone with you to listen to music while you workout. I was never able to get it to control any other music program (Samsung music, SiriusXM) like my Google Wear device does. 3. You are supposed to be able to answer and take phone calls through the watch. However, I could never get the Bluetooth Media Control to stay connected with my phone (Note 9/Oreo) to turn up the speaker on the watch. It's too bad, really. With the addition of being able to respond to text messages on the watch with more than just Quick Responses, I really hoped I'd be able to come back to Fitbit's VASTLY superior tracking tools. I've now started wearing my Charge 2 to bed for sleep tracking and on my body without a band (in addition to my Google watch). And thanks to reports of recent updates making the Charge less accurate (including the Floors error previously mentioned--works beautifully on this old device right now) before eventually bricking the device, I won't let it update from the late 2018 firmware it's using now.

Good tracker; Not worth the upgrade

I'm a mostly satisfied Versa 2 user. I have had issues with heart rate tracking when using an elliptical. With this exercise only, it undercounts my HR by 50-60 bpm for most of the workout. (Strangely other exercises don't have this problem.) I understood the Versa 3 had upgraded heart-rate monitoring. Unfortunately, the Versa 3 has exactly the same accuracy problems as the Versa 2. If I didn't already have a Versa 2, I would have been happy with the 3. But the upgrade doesn't seem worth it.

    Software sucks

I was so excited for this because it looked so good when they presented the new Fitbit line but man oh man the software just blows. It feels like a first generation of an apple watch. I am very ashamed of fitbit and do not recommend this unless they fix the software.
