Fitbit - Versa 3 - Worth the price

While there are less expensive Fitbit options, I would suggest going for something like the Versa 3. I had the Inspire 2, but could not read the time or other information unless I was inside or in the dark. The Versa 3 is very readable and seems to be very sturdy as well. Thumbs up!

I was loving this watch until the screen cracked after 6 weeks of use and I discovered that there is nowhere to have this repaired or replaced. This is my third or fourth Fitbit, but I may consider switching brands in the future for this reason. Great features otherwise.

It functions as stated. The Bluetooth picks up on text messages and phone calls well. I don’t like the button on the side of the watch that controls the functions. You have to push it multiple times for it to actually work. Overall, it functions as advertised. So far the battery life is very good.

great design, this is my 3rd fitbit and the quality on this watches are OK and comparable to other major brands, the only thing I didn't like that much is the charging system. that I think it could be improved but other than that it has all the things I needed and I was looking for on a smart watch... still trying to figure out some of the apps and capabilities.

I bought this health smartwatch for my daughter. She is very pleased with it and has compared it to her friends who have a well known brand smartwatch. She says that it can do just about anything their watches can do. The price is great on this health smartwatch and I highly recommend it.

I bought this at my wife's suggestion and love it. It's easy to wear, has a long battery (almost a week) and give me motivation to hit small goals, drink water, and just be a little more healthy. I also like the analysis of my sleep and a quick two minute meditation tool.. There are plenty of other features that I can work my way into - it's a great product that promotes well being.

First time Fitbit and smartwatch owner

For context, I consider myself a tech enthusiast with a lot of different devices that I use daily. I am heavily invested in the Google and Android ecosystem. That said, I've never owned a Fitbit or smartwatch. Personally, this was due to their not being many good affordable options and for those that existed, battery life wasn't great. Overall I was very disappointed in my experience. Pros: - Battery life: Approximately 5 days between charges - I turned the always-on display feature off and left the screen set to 'normal', This means the screen would turn on (50% of the time - more on this in the cons) when I raised my wrist upward to look at it. This was the only time the screen would be on. - UI: The new Fitbit OS, exclusively for the Versa 3 and Sense was buttery smooth for me. I had no issues navigating the menus and it worked well. - Pretty good electronic pedometer and heart rate monitor. - Worked great integrating calories burned with MyFitnessPal. Cons: - The button on the side of the Versa 3 inadvertently turns on my screen if I bend my wrist upward, pressing the button into my upper wrist/forearm, thus reducing battery life. Note: I did not experience issues with manually pressing the button like others have mentioned. - The watch band isn't isn't bad, but it isn't great. The material doesn't feel like great quality. I also didn't care for the unique band strap that requires you to push the nub into the sizing hole and feed the strap into the inside of the band. - For a watch that is several generations in, there are zero apps that interest me or are useful. The overall number is severely limited; maybe less than 24 overall. No Google apps exist. - No on device storage - To listen to music, you must have a Spotify premium, Deezer, or Pandora premium subscription. I already sub to YouTube Music Premium, so I'm not interested in sub'ing to another music service. If you don't sub to a music service, then you're not able to listen to music via bluetooth headphones attached to the actual watch, which brings up my next con. - Still need to carry phone around to respond to texts, calls, and play music. GPS is completely useless on a watch if I need my phone (which also has GPS) to play my music while running or working out. - Making calls may be beneficial, but this functionality doesn't exist until "Winter 2020". There's no way of telling if the microphone or speaker are any good until then. - Google assistant isn't being released until "Winter 2020". Honestly, other than general questions, the lack of Google apps or things like iHeartRadio means that even after it's released, will require the use of your phone or major useful things won't function. I could see there being a use case for interacting with my smart home devices, but then again, I already have my Google Home devices and phone, which the Versa 3 still requires me to use as mentioned. Verdict: - This is a nice looking pedometer and heart rate monitor. However, it's significantly limited in any other features and way overpriced. Look elsewhere if you're in the Android ecosystem. Your better off just using your phone which still works with their app.

Love the features and readings. It is difficult to navigate touch screen at times due to sensitivity. After about 2 months, the watch malfunctioned and wouldn't charge, but I received a replacement and haven't any problems since.

I purchased mine in March, 2022 without buying the extended warrantee. I loved it! It did exactly what was advertised, the app was simple to use for the watch and it wasn't too big/small - it was JUST right! However, last week (First week of July, 2022) it no longer would charge :( I tried all the troubleshooting ideas and it still didn't work. Lastly, I contacted Fitbit directly on the chat support on their website, explained to them the problem I was having and they have shipped me a brand new Versa 3 replacement. So - while it's a bit disappointing that it no longer would charge, I have no complaints receiving a brand new one, in the hopes it does not stop working also. I will revise my comment if the 2nd one has any problems!

Can read text message and answer phone on it, but you have to be right next to your phone, otherwise it's not connected, calls are very hard to hear and doesn't sync well. It tracks your exercises, cannot find how it measures the oxygen level.
