Fitbit's latest rubbish

I had an earlier version of FB that suddenly died after using it several years. It only had to be charged once a week or so. When it died and I chose to upgrade (since the old version was no longer available, this new one would go 3-4 days without needing to be charged, which I thought was unacceptable. But now, this piece of rubbish has to be charged every. single. night. It keeps telling me that it needs to be updated with Google, however won't allow me to log in to Google. So, for a "smartwatch" it is the dumbest piece of tech I own. Doesn't track my sleep (because it's on the charger), and doesn't update to Google (for god knows what reason). When you spend that much money on a watch that only keeps time, and poorly at that, might as well go back to Timex. Come on Fitbit. You can do better.

Posted .Hi there, Desico. We’re sorry your experience with the Versa 4 hasn’t been quite what you expected. Your watch should be getting up to 6 days of battery life. Here’s some troubleshooting tips to get more out of your battery:
1. Turn off always-on display
2. Use phone GPS instead of built-in GPS
3. Dim the screen or enable auto brightness

Not very smart watch

Does not control music on your phone along with a host of other features nixed from previous models. It is a real step back considering the price tag.

To restart your Fitbit device:
1. Locate the Settings app.
2. Tap Settings, then Restart Device, then Restart.
If your device is unresponsive:
1. Plug in your device to charge.
2. Press the button on the charger's flat end 3 times with 1-second pauses.
3. Wait 10 seconds, or until the logo appears.
