It has more features than the Blaze and is still easy to use And the battery lasts longer than the Blaze. I did buy a compatible mesh magnetic band for it, since I like to be able to adjust the tightness incrementally.

Posted .Hi there, SandyD. We’re sorry to hear you're having issues with syncing on your Versa 4. Normally, a quick restart can resolve that problem — here’s how to do that:
To restart your Fitbit device:
1. Locate the Settings app.
2. Tap Settings, then Restart Device, then Restart.
If your device is unresponsive:
1. Plug in your device to charge.
2. Press the button on the charger's flat end 3 times with 1-second pauses.
3. Wait 10 seconds, or until the logo appears.

Need instruction manual for Dummys

I only want Time, Day, Date and miles walked. I know it will do much more but I find all those screens confusing and frustrating.

Fitbit's latest rubbish

I had an earlier version of FB that suddenly died after using it several years. It only had to be charged once a week or so. When it died and I chose to upgrade (since the old version was no longer available, this new one would go 3-4 days without needing to be charged, which I thought was unacceptable. But now, this piece of rubbish has to be charged every. single. night. It keeps telling me that it needs to be updated with Google, however won't allow me to log in to Google. So, for a "smartwatch" it is the dumbest piece of tech I own. Doesn't track my sleep (because it's on the charger), and doesn't update to Google (for god knows what reason). When you spend that much money on a watch that only keeps time, and poorly at that, might as well go back to Timex. Come on Fitbit. You can do better.

1. Turn off always-on display
2. Use phone GPS instead of built-in GPS
3. Dim the screen or enable auto brightness

When you turn it back on, time will resume at the time of shut down. My Ionic kept time during a shut down. 20 days later, my Versa 4 shut down unexpectedly. I got myself a refund. Do a search on "known issues with the Versa 4".
